Exponentiated Poisson-Power Lindley Distribution: Properties and Applications
In this aricle, exponentiated Poisson-power Lindley (EPPL) distribution, an extension of Poisson-power Lindley distribution is introduced and studiedits properties. A useful linear representation of the distribution is discussed. The method of maximum likelihood is considered for estimation of the parametersand its accuracy is proven by simulation technique. An acceptancesampling plan, based on a truncated time period is developed for the newlyproposed distribution and its application is illustrated by means of survivaltime data sets
Neutrosophic Exponentiated Power Lomax Distribution
The probability distribution is of great significance in probability the-ory, which is inherent in virtually all the branches of science. It is saidto be used selectively in actuarial science with reference to insurance andfinance, medicine, agriculture, demography and econometrics. However, themain contribution of the current research work is to propose a new distri-bution called as neutrosophic exponentiated power Lomax distribution orbriefly NEPL. Several other mathematical characteristics that describe lifesurvival and the related characteristics, such as hazard rate and functionsand moment-generating functions and other tests of mean, variance, andstandard deviation, asymmetry and kurtosis, have been built and analyzed.Monte Carlo method has been applied also to assess the efficiency of NEPLdistribution estimate. Therefore, the results of the simulation carried outfor this study reveal that the process of estimating with reasonable degree ofaccuracy is feasible only when the size of the sample is comparatively large. The existence of the premature infant staying time data has been utilisedto illustrate the specific manner in which the elaborated NEPL distributionhas been suggested for being applied. Based on the discussions of the pre-vious sections, it can be deduced that the NEPL distribution is also generalin terms of its applications because it can deal with all forms of data thatis, it does not distinguish between certainty, probabilities of uncertainties, ambiguties or imprecisions
Abstract
EnThis article examines some of the social and political aspects resulting from the action of young people during the pandemic, through the description and analysis of a specific performance of conflict, occupation. Between October 2021 and March 2022 an unprecedented wave of keenly-felt student demonstrations swept through Italy, triggered by the occupation of several schools in Rome. The article is based on a quali-quantitative methodology. The chronology of the protest was reconstructed by means of an analysis of the national and local daily press.
Living Archives. Case-study del fondo fotografico di Annabella Rossi
Archives are living corpuses that safeguard the cultural heritage of communities for the future generations, contributing to a better understanding of the world, global equality and social justice; they become democratizing, inclusive, polyphonic spaces that permit a dialogue between the past, the present and the future. The case-study of Annabella Rossi's archive photo collection, with reference to ceramic art in Salento, confirms the importance of making archives living, open and usable as universes of meaning, 'labyrinths', physical, social and scientific research places, unexpected journeys where history is reconstructed, becomes a new narrative and therefore a future by creating critical processes
