Presupposti ideali nella "svolta" costantiniana verso le comunità cristiane: il motivo della libertà religiosa
EnThe paper develops the theme of religious freedom, by comparing the use made by Tertullian and the references contained in the edict of Milan in its version mediated by the story of Lactantius and in particular it investigates its spreading in the Latin Christian literature. The author also compares the contents of the Edict of Milan referring to the version of Lactantius, with that reported by Tertullian, according to which religious freedom was a naturalis potestas (not reducible by the public power) as a response to the concept of libera potestas (reducible by the public power) deriving from the edict of Milan.

Electrochemical and spectroscopical characterization of apta-sensor based on gold electrodes functionalized with poly-L-DOPA film
The development of new biotechnological integrated and miniaturized devices is an interesting aspect of biosensors application in different biomedicine fields, for example for detection of microorganisms responsible for food poisoning, such as Salmonella, Clostridium botulinum and Listeria monocytogenes. A fast and easy detection of a particular target is the aim of these kind of new biosensors, which promise to be fast and reproducible portable devices. In this work, gold screen printed electrodes (SPEs) are modified by electrochemical deposition of a polymer, able to work as linker for a specific aptamer that will detect the target of interest. The polymer used to functionalize this biosensor is L-Dopa, a chiral amino acid known for its adhesive properties. Because of L-Dopa electro-polymerization has not been well characterized yet [1], the experiments conducted in this work are aimed at better characterization of L-Dopa polymeric film, trying to understand the functional groups that could bind the suitable aptamer for detection of Internalin-A, a Listeria monocytogenes surface protein. Gold SPEs were first electrochemically modified with poly-L-Dopa film, then InlA aptamer was drop-casted on working electrode. The modified SPEs characterization was performed by Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in ferrocyanide; to appreciate polymerized L-Dopa characteristics, Infrared (IR) and Raman Spectroscopies were performed too. The trauma of war in Andrzej Stasiuk’s travelogues
In Andrzej Stasiuk narrative and travel writing, war emerges as a dominant and recurring motif. It takes on the form of a true myth, in which fear and desire, rejection and fascination, past and present are inextricably intertwined. This study aims to analyse the Polish author’s travel writing in the light of this issue and demonstrate how this war mythology emerges in his representation of the cultural landscape and his reflection on the boundaries of European space. The thesis argues that Stasiuk’s myth of war is fueled by a paradoxical identity trauma, rooted not only in the writer’s family history but also in the very way Poles perceive themselves and their past. The study will thus illustrate how the theme of war, initially a youthful and masculine myth, becomes instrumental in reflecting on Polish identity
La ritraduzione di Momo di Michael Ende. Un tentativo di riposizionamento
This article examines the changing reception of the German author Michael Ende in the Italian literary field through the various editions of his fantasy novel Momo (1973). A few years after the first translation by Silvia Stefani, published by Vallecchi (1974), the novel was entirely retranslated by Daria Angeleri, published by SEI (1981) and then reprinted several times by Longanesi. The Italian publishing history of the novel, accompanied by a contrastive analysis of the two translations, highlights the attempt to reposition the novel in a broader publishing context, free of generational barriers, to redefine the author’s literary status
Ecology as a nature-cultural process in Raja Rao’s Kanthapura
This article investigates a largely overlooked dimension of Raja Rao’s literary corpus, focusing on the depiction of ecological themes and Indian landscapes in his debut novel, Kanthapura. Drawing on recent scholarship in the Environmental Humanities, it adopts an integrated theoretical framework, combining Hubert Zapf’s Cultural Ecology (2016), the new materialist concept of the nature-culture continuum (Iovino and Opperman 2013), and Niccolò Scaffai’s Ecocritique (2017). This framework is applied to highlight how Rao’s novel integrates material and political issues with a reflection on affective and spiritual connections between the human and the nonhuman world that is rooted in local traditions and beliefs. On a thematic level, what emerges in Kanthapura is the search for a new eco-social balance in a nation on the verge of independence. However, in this work, ecology is not only a narrative theme used to criticise colonial ideologies and eco-social legacies, but it also permeates the text in its narratological and semiotical dimensions, challenging colonial literary conventions. On a textual level, this article intends to discuss the effects of nature (Scaffai 2017) in Kanthapura by analysing the literary strategies employed by the author to depict the interactions between the human and the nonhuman world
