Monitorare la comprensione testuale: strategie e dispositivi didattici
Get PDFRiassunto Il monitoraggio della comprensione testuale è una funzione cognitiva essenziale che consente ai lettori di valutare se il contenuto di un testo sia stato assimilato correttamente e se le informazioni siano coerenti. Questo processo avviene durante la lettura e non solo alla fine. L’insegnamento di strategie efficaci per il monitoraggio della comprensione è cruciale per migliorare le capacità di lettura, specialmente nei lettori con difficoltà. Tra i dispositivi didattici più efficaci figurano le domande di controllo durante la lettura, l’inserimento di incongruenze testuali per stimolare l’attenzione critica, la sintesi in itinere e la visualizzazione dei contenuti. La ricerca ha dimostrato che questi strumenti sono particolarmente utili per i lettori con difficoltà, migliorando il loro coinvolgimento e la loro capacità di identificare incongruenze esplicite e implicite. Tuttavia, un fattore critico che incide sulla capacità di monitoraggio è la memoria di lavoro: i lettori con difficoltà tendono a perdere informazioni se le frasi chiave sono distanti tra loro nel testo. Sebbene la memoria di lavoro non possa essere ampliata in termini di capacità, il suo utilizzo può essere ottimizzato attraverso strategie didattiche mirate. Le simulazioni e le attività strutturate forniscono un supporto efficace, soprattutto per i lettori con difficoltà, incrementando la loro consapevolezza metacognitiva e il loro successo nella comprensione del testo. Abstract Monitoring text comprehension is a crucial cognitive function that allows readers to assess whether they have correctly understood a text and whether the information is coherent. This process occurs during reading, not just at the end. Teaching effective comprehension monitoring strategies is vital for enhancing reading skills, especially in struggling readers. Some of the most effective instructional tools include control questions during reading, inserting textual inconsistencies to stimulate critical attention, in-progress summarization, and content visualization. Research has shown that these tools are particularly beneficial for struggling readers, improving their engagement and ability to identify explicit and implicit inconsistencies. However, a critical factor affecting comprehension monitoring is working memory: struggling readers tend to lose information when key sentences are far apart in the text. While working memory capacity cannot be expanded, its use can be optimized through targeted instructional strategies. Simulations and structured activities provide effective support, particularly for struggling readers, increasing their metacognitive awareness and success in text comprehension

Thanks to its interdisciplinary character, and the ability to be an element in the development of the child, physical education is a subject that attracts the attention of numerous disciplines such as pedagogy, psychology, anthropology, etc. The results of this empirical research highlight how much motor education, through play and interdisciplinarity, affects the development of motor skills, cooperation, respect for others, control of emotions and the ability to express them in a socially acceptable way
