Lending Targets and Marketing Performance at BPRS Puduarta Insani: Target Penyaluran Kredit dan Kinerja Pemasaran BPRS Puduarta Insani

    No full text
General background: Human resource management is a critical component of organizational success, particularly in the banking sector where marketing performance directly influences financial outcomes. Specific background: In the context of Sharia banking, institutions like PT. BPRS Puduarta Insani implement lending targets to guide marketing efforts. Knowledge gap: However, limited research has explored the dual impact—both motivational and burdensome—of such targets on employee performance in Islamic microfinance contexts. Aims: This study aims to analyze how the imposition of lending targets affects the work performance of Account Officers at PT. BPRS Puduarta Insani. Results: The findings reveal that while clear targets and associated rewards enhance motivation, focus, and creativity, excessively high targets induce stress and risk the compromise of prudential financing standards. Novelty: The study uniquely integrates qualitative insights to highlight the dynamic interplay between target-setting, compensation, and psychological well-being in a Sharia banking context. Implications: These results suggest that a balanced target-setting approach—aligned with market realities and employee capacity—can transform lending goals into performance drivers without undermining ethical lending standards.Highlight : Clear targets improve focus — Lending targets give Account Officers a structured direction to perform better. Rewards drive motivation — Incentives linked to target achievement enhance creativity and competitiveness. Excessive pressure risks performance — Unrealistic targets can lead to stress and compromise financing quality. General Background: Vehicle security and fleet management have become increasingly vital in response to the rising incidents of vehicle theft and transportation inefficiencies. Specific Background: GPS-based tracking systems offer real-time monitoring capabilities, yet many available solutions lack seamless integration with communication modules for efficient user interaction. Knowledge Gap: Despite advancements, limited attention has been given to systems that autonomously authenticate user requests and transmit location data directly to mobile interfaces via GSM and Android applications. Aims: This study proposes a GPS-based vehicle tracking system that integrates GPS receivers, microcontroller processing, and GSM communication for real-time, user-initiated location tracking. Results: The developed system effectively captures GPS coordinates, verifies user identity via incoming calls, and transmits location data through SMS, which is subsequently mapped in an Android app. Novelty: Unlike conventional models, the proposed system disables GSM post-transmission and activates continuous GPS tracking, optimizing power usage and ensuring uninterrupted monitoring. Implications: The integration of GPS and GSM with intelligent control logic provides a cost-effective, user-friendly solution for real-time vehicle tracking, with potential applications in personal vehicle security, fleet logistics, and geofencing enforcement. Highlights: Integrates GPS and GSM for seamless real-time vehicle tracking. Uses caller authentication to initiate secure location sharing. Automatically switches modules to optimize power efficiency. Keywords: GPS, Vehicle Tracking, Real-Time Monitoring, Geofencing &nbsp

External Egg Traits in Japanese Quail Vary by Maturity Age: Ciri-ciri Telur Luar pada Burung Puyuh Jepang Bervariasi Berdasarkan Usia Kedewasaan

    No full text
General background: Egg traits are crucial indicators in poultry science due to their relevance to hatchability, chick survival, and consumer preferences. Specific background: While various factors influence egg quality, the impact of sexual maturity timing on external egg characteristics in Japanese quail remains underexplored. Knowledge gap: Limited studies have investigated how variations in the onset age of sexual maturity directly affect measurable external egg traits. Aims: This study aimed to assess the effects of early and late sexual maturity on external egg quality in Japanese quail. Results: Using 682 eggs categorized into four sexual maturity classes, we found that the age of sexual maturity significantly influenced egg weight, length, surface area, and volume, while body weight, egg breadth, and shape index remained unaffected. Novelty: The findings establish that earlier sexual maturity is associated with larger eggs, highlighting physiological advantages during early reproductive phases. Implications: These results offer insights for breeding strategies aiming to enhance egg production and quality by selecting optimal maturity ages, thus improving both economic outcomes and biological efficiency in quail production systems.Highlight : The age of sexual maturity significantly affects egg weight, length, surface area, and volume in Japanese quail.
