Feature Prioritization-A Novel Method for Prioritization
One of the most important activities during features engineering is the selection and prioritization of features satisfying various explicit and implicit objectives and constraints. One of the most important steps in incremental software development is the Selection and Prioritization of features satisfying various constraints like stakeholder preference, resources, cost of development etc. As it is practically impossible to implement all the available features in the coming release there is a need to prioritize and choose only those features satisfying these technical and non-technical constraints? In addition, Stakeholder’s interest should also be considered in selecting the features that has to be included in the current version. After analyzing the different prioritization techniques, clearly understanding the drawbacks of traditional methods, the proposed algorithm for Feature prioritization can handle multiple stakeholders, feature dependency; a large feature set and provides an ordering of the generated optimum features.
Analysis of RSA Digital Signature Key Generation using Strong Prime
RSA digital signature is a public key algorithm, uses a private key for signing and a public key for verifying. Achieving the efficiency and acceptable level of time for generating strong keys is an important aspect and a key factor of the different security issue that facing the RSA. This paper proposes a new scheme for generating private and public key of the RSA Digital Signature using “Strong prime” concept, state that , , based on Gordon’s algorithm. In order to optimize the efficiency of key generation time strategy for the prime factorization that relying on such probability
Acid Stimulation of Carbonate Reservoir in Northeastern Thailand Using Developed Computer Program
The purpose of this study is to analyze production performance of well stimulation by acidizing and acid fracturing of northeastern gas reservoir using developed computer program to increase the permeability and improve in flow performance. The original permeability of reservoir is 0.5 md. with 5 production wells has the maximum gas production rate of 19.11 MMSCF/D. After acidizing, the permeability increases to be 1.75 md. and maximum gas production increase to be 20.77 MMSCF/D. After acid fracturing, the permeability increases to be 37.73x109 md. and maximum gas production rate increases to be 228 MMSCF/D. The results of gas production performance from developed program and Eclipse show the closed results. The economic analysis result shows that after acid fracturing has completely paid back in the 6th year of production with internal rate of return at 34.49%. Acid stimulation program are advantage valuable data to use for decision-making in the investment of petroleum exploration in the northeastern Thailand. This is also useful to predict for the future petroleum exploration business in the northeastern Thailand
Forecasting with Machine Learning
For years, people have been forecasting weather patterns, economic and political events, sports outcomes, and more. In this paper we discussed the ways of using machine learning in forecasting, machine learning is a branch of computer science where algorithms learn from data. The fundamental problem for machine learning and time series is the same: to predict new outcomes based on previously known results. Using the suitable technique of machine learning depend on how much data you have, how noisy the data is, and what kind of new features can be derived from the data. But these techniques can improve accuracy and don’t have to be difficult to implement
Repositioning the Logistic Industry for Effective Service Delivery in Nigeria: A Case Study
The logistic sector remains one silent but vital component of the transportation sector in Nigeria. In developed countries of the world, the use of information and communication technology has brought tremendous transformation to different workplaces including the logistic industry in terms of speed, convenience, efficiency and wealth creation. Unfortunately, processes in the courier services in Nigeria are still being largely managed manually with its attendant security challenges, waste of time, storage etc. Through a system development life cycle methodology, this work developed a computerized courier mail tracking and management system with enhanced features using PHP and MySQL database. It was hosted on a WampServer and successfully implemented for Suvex Delivery Services Limited (SDSL).The platform does not only guarantee that processes in the logistics section are more secured and better organized for tracking and retrieval of relevant information, it ensures that effectiveness and efficiency remain the watch word in the logistics industry
A Review of Text Mining Techniques & Applications
Due to the ever increasing rate at which information is generated, text mining and its automated analysis have become the need of the hour. The paper discusses some of the developments in text mining applications, primarily reviewing techniques in the classification, summarization and analysis of text, as advocated by academia. The goal is, in essence, to ultimately turn unstructured text into useful data and information for analysis using critical methods. We introduce the paper by introducing the concept of “textual analysis” similar to text mining done using the analysis of Natural Language texts, their respective techniques in use and the open source tools in use to do so. We survey varied topics that use NLP, and also expand the horizons of this domain by devising new techniques for improving the efficiency even in limited amounts of data, improved accuracy, new methods, novel approaches, and new application areas for it, and relating to text summarization and text classification. Various text mining techniques used in text classification and summarization are reviewed, followed by the application areas of text mining being worked upon by businesses. Finally, the paper concludes by introducing “organizational text mining” and emphasizing the need for it
Graph Theory
Graph Theory is a graphical representation of a set of vertices which are connected by edges and is basically suitable in computer science and mathematics to create structural models. This paper describes the basic terminology of graphs, different types and connectivity of graphs to lead new inventions and modifications in the existing environment for enhancement in these fields
Secure Data Sharing in Cloud Computing: A Comprehensive Review
Cloud Computing is an emerging technology, which relies on sharing computing resources. Sharing of data in the group is not secure as the cloud provider cannot be trusted. The fundamental dif?culties in distributed computing of cloud suppliers is Data Security, Sharing, Resource scheduling and Energy consumption. Key-Aggregate cryptosystem used to secure private/public data in the cloud. This key is consistent size aggregate for adaptable decisions of ciphertext in cloud storage. Virtual Machines (VMs) provisioning is effectively empowered the cloud suppliers to effectively use their accessible resources and get higher bene?ts. The most effective method to share information resources among the individuals from the group in distributed storage is secure, ?exible and ef?cient. Any data stored in different cloud data centers are corrupted, recovery using regenerative coding. Security is provided many techniques like Forward security, backward security, Key-Aggregate cryptosystem, Encryption and Re-encryption etc. The energy is reduced using Energy-Ef?cient Virtual Machines Scheduling in Multi-Tenant Data Centers
Alternative Framework for Enhancing Image Quality of the Fingerprint
Fingerprint Identification is one of the most popular biometric methods used to verify and identify a person; formally it is defined as “The pattern of ridges and furrows on an individual finger”. Ridges are the lines in thumb and furrow is shallow trench of skin on an individual’s finger. Furrow is also referred to as valley. The combination of ridges and furrows makes an individual’s fingerprint and it’s called minutiae. A critical step in Fingerprint is to automatically and reliably extract minutiae from input finger print images. However the performance of the Minutiae extraction algorithm and other fingerprint recognition techniques relies heavily on the quality of the input fingerprint image. In order to ensure that the performance of the minutiae extraction algorithm will be robust with respect to the quality of input fingerprint images, an enhancement framework which can improve the clarity of the ridge structures is necessary. In this paper we reviewed, analyzed and evaluated some of the existing frameworks for image enhancement of the fingerprint which used Image or Minutiae Based and anticipated outcome of this effort is alternative hybrid framework of enhancing fingerprint image quality, that is a more proactive and consistent approach of improvement, 100 fingerprint from 4 DBs of FVC2006 was used for experiment and tested in MATLAB & Adobe Photoshop image processing Software’s, result indicates that proposed enhancement framework improved gap knowledge of the analyzed existing frameworks and Fingerprint were enhanced by correcting and removing noise from the input fingerprint
