    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on students' high order thinking skills. The topic of this essay is meta-analysis. Meta analysis is a study conducted by collecting, analyzing, and comparing data from several previously completed studies. Research samples were made from 27 nationally and internationally accredited journals with criteria according to the problem formulation. The data analysis method used in this study is a method that minimizes the effect size of each article. Based on the results of the research, it has been determined that the effect of the problem-based learning model on students' high order thinking skills.  First, the problem based learning model has a significant influence on improving students' high order thinking skills. Second, the problem based learning model based on educational level states that there is a significant influence on students' higher level thinking abilities. Third, the problem based learning model based on science and physics subjects does not have a significant difference in students' high order thinking skills.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap high order thinking skills peserta didik. Topik esai ini adalah meta-analisis. Meta analisis adalah studi yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan membandingkan data dari beberapa studi yang telah diselesaikan sebelumnya. Sampel penelitiaan ulang dibuat dari 27 jurnal yang terakreditasi nasional dan internasional dengan kriteria sesuai dengan rumusan masalah. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode yang meminimalkan ukuran efek setiap artikel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, telah ditetapkan bahwa pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap high order thingking skills siswa. Pertama, model pembelajaran problem based learning efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan high order thinking skills  siswa. Kedua, pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap high order thinking skills peserta didik berdasarkan  jenjang pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap high order thinking skills memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata effect size ketika diterapkan di SD, SMP dan SMA.  Ketiga, pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran terhadap high order thinking skills siswa berdasarkan mata pelajaran menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap high order thinking skills tidak memiliki perbedaan signifikan rata-rata effect size pada materi IPA dan Fisika.     &nbsp

    Implementation of Interactive Learning Approach in IPAS Learning

    This study aims to describe the implementation of interactive learning approaches in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) learning in Grade V of SDN Bagi 02, Madiun Regency. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method to examine the effectiveness and implications of integrating interactive learning strategies into IPAS learning environments. Through observations, interviews, and documentation, the study investigates how interactive learning methods are implemented, perceived, and experienced by both educators and students. From the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of interactive learning approaches significantly impacts IPAS learning in Grade V of SDN Bagi 02, Madiun Regency. Learners actively engage in the IPAS learning process, enhancing their understanding of material concepts, and can develop social skills through interaction with teachers and peers. This research provides further recommendations for development in terms of supporting interactive approach curriculum development and adequate resource allocation

    The Use of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) Model in the Material of Matter and Object Form to Improve Critical Thinking Skills and Student Learning Outcomes

    PBL (Problem-Based Learning) teaching with problem-based skills is effective for improving learning through critical thinking activities and enhancing learning outcomes. Critical thinking is logical and reflective thinking that focuses on deciding what should be believed or done. This study is classroom action research aimed at improving students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes by using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model in the material of matter and its states. Data were collected using observation sheets and evaluation questions at the end of each cycle. Critical thinking skills data were obtained by summing all scores across 5 indicators, dividing by the total maximum score, then multiplying by 100. The score obtained was 49, which met the criteria for sufficient critical thinking in cycle I, and increased to 63, meeting the criteria for critical thinking in cycle II. The percentage of learning mastery increased from 11% in the pre-cycle to 66.7% in cycle I, and further increased to 83% in cycle II. This proves that the use of PBL (Problem Based Learning) can enhance students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes

    Development of Moodle-Based Learning Management System Integrated with Virtual Programming Lab for Basic Vocational Subjects of Software and Game Development

    Programming instruction in Vocational Basics for Software and Game Development (PPLG) often encounters challenges such as limited lab practice time, restricted learning media, and conventional one-way teaching methods. This study aims to develop a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) integrated with a Virtual Programming Lab (VPL) that is valid, practical, and effective. Utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the LMS was tested on 36 grade X PPLG students at SMKN 2 Padang. Results showed high validity with a score of 4.4 (highly feasible), practicality scores of 5.0 (teachers) and 4.4 (students) (highly practical), and effectiveness with an N-gain of 0.80 (high). The findings indicate that the LMS significantly enhances learning outcomes, offering a flexible and effective solution for teaching Vocational Basics. This study concludes that the Moodle-based LMS with VPL integration is a viable tool to address existing instructional challenges in PPLG education

    The Effect of Dietary Probiotic and Oxygen Supply on the Growth and Survival Rate of Eels (Anguilla bicollor)

    The aquaculture of Anguilla bicollor has significant economic potential, but persistent challenges continue to hinder profitability for farmers. Two of the most pressing issues are low dissolved oxygen levels and poor feed conversion efficiency. These problems slow eel growth and drive-up operational costs, creating a bottleneck for sustainable production. This study examines a combined strategy to tackle these challenges by integrating probiotics (Lactobacillus sp.) and paddlewheel aeration. Research was conducted at BLUPPB Karawang, using 600 juvenile eels in ponds subjected to four distinct treatments: (1) probiotics and paddlewheels together, (2) paddlewheels-only, (3) probiotics-only, and (4) a control group with no intervention. Over a 45-day period, survival rates (SR), relative growth rates (RGR), and feed conversion ratios (FCR) were carefully monitored. The findings were promising. Ponds that used both probiotics and paddlewheels achieved the best results: an RGR of 1.19%, an SR of 100%, and an FCR of 1.09. Probiotics contributed to better gut health and digestion, while the paddlewheels boosted water oxygenation—creating an ideal growth environment. While no direct interaction between the two methods was observed, their combined application proved highly effective in improving productivity and sustainability. This integrated approach offers a practical solution to some of the most significant challenges in Anguilla bicollor aquaculture

    Adsorption Performance of Turmeric as Biosorbent for Free Fatty Acid Removal in Used Cooking Oil

    Repeated use of cooking oil produces hazardous compounds such as free fatty acids, carbonyls, and peroxides. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of turmeric as a bio-adsorbent in reducing free fatty acid levels, peroxide numbers, and water content in used cooking oil, and determine the appropriate adsorption isotherm model. Turmeric is one of the biopharmaceutical plants whose availability is quite abundant in Indonesia. Adsorption was carried out with variations in adsorbent mass and contact time. The result showed that turmeric is effective in reducing free fatty acid levels, peroxide value, and water content with adsorption efficiency of up to 54.02, 48.78, and 42.89%, respectively. The adsorption isotherm analysis suggested that the adsorption of free fatty acids followed the Freundlich model rather than the Langmuir model. This study reveals that turmeric has the potential to be a viable bio-adsorbent for enhancing the quality of used cooking oil

    Stakeholders Involvement in Sediment Management in Rawa Pening Lake, Central Java, Indonesia

    Lake Rawapening is one of the 15 lakes prioritized for preservation based on Presidential Regulation No. 60 of 2021. due to high environmental degradation caused by sedimentation rates that can reduce water depth and quality and harm ecosystem sustainability. This research aims to analyze the roles and contributions of each stakeholder and key actor in the utilization of sediment from Lake Rawapening. The research method used in this study is a qualitative survey method. The number of respondents in this study consists of 18 key informants, 15 main informants, and 3 supporting informants. The analysis used employs Actor Network Theory analysis with the Social Network Visualizer version 3.1 application. Research shows that in the utilization of sediments in Lake Rawapening. The government as the determiner of policy formation and implementation; the sediment utilization institution, which is currently inactive, playing a role in coordination and synergy among stakeholders; sediment dredging fishermen as sediment extractors; sediment porters as the delivery service from the boat to the sediment collection site; sediment collectors as raw material distributors and managers of the sediment collection process; and fertilizer distribution as the link between producers and farmers. The actor with the highest EVC in sediment utilization at Lake Rawapening is the sediment collector at node 5, who becomes the most important actor with an EVC of 100% due to extensive involvement with various parties. Fertilizer distributors from Purwodadi and Ambarawa followed in second place with an EVC of 87.51%, while sediment porters recorded the lowest EVC (0%). The collector at node 7 has the highest CC score (43.61%). Lake Rawapening's sediment collectors have a 39.45% control rate (BC score = 39.45

    Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dan kurang efektifnya proses pembelajaran, serta minimnya interaksi dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran terintegrasi TPACK terhadap hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Kediri. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pretest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kediri dan teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sampling pusposive. Berikut sampel yang diteliti yaitu siswa kelas VIIIC sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIIIE sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian meliputi soal tes, observasi, dan angket respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah video pembelajaran, LKPD berbasis Liveworkhsheets dan kahoot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran terintegrasi TPACK efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kediri pada Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025.     Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah adalah model pembelajaran yang menghadapkan peserta didik pada masalah nyata dan relevan dengan konteks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan assemblr edu terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Keruak. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik eksperimen kuantitatif yang disebut eksperimen semu (eksperimen semu) dengan desain penelitian non equivalen control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu berdasarkan kemampuan akademik siswa. Kelas VIII.2 dan VIII.5 dipilih sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan siswa kelas VIII.1 dan VIII.4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kemampuan berpikir berpikir diukur dengan menggunakan soal esai. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik parametrik yaitu menggunakan uji ANACOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai uji hipotesis sebesar 0,005 atau < 0,05 sehingga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan assemblr edu terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Keruak.     A Systematic Literature Review: Implementasi Computational Thinking pada Pembelajaran Fisika di Indonesia

    The implementation of computational thinking in learning can help students have 21st century skills. This research aims to review the implementation of computational thinking in physics learning in Indonesia. Systematic literature review research using content analysis methods was used to review articles published from 2019 to 2023. The analysis techniques used were planning, conducting and reporting. Of the 170 articles, there are 20 articles that match the focus of this research. The results of the research are the type of experimental research that is most widely used with test instruments. The research subjects were high school students. Physics materials that are often used in research are kinematics and energy and work. Computational thinking is widely integrated with learning media. The media often used by researchers is scratch. This research needs to be studied further with other inclusion criteria so that there are more references regarding the implementation of computational thinking, especially in physics learningImplementasi computational thinking dalam pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa memiliki keterampilan abad ke 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan meninjau implementasi computational thinking pada pembelajaran fisika di Indonesia.
