Health Psychology Science Education in Women's Pregnancy Outside Marriage
Psychological science in the education of adolescents who become pregnant outside of marriage is elementary in the discourse of mental health in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of providing education about promiscuity and broken homes in preventing out-of-wedlock pregnancies among teenagers. In this study, the research design used the One Group Pretest-Posttest form and purposive sampling technique. The results of the Paired T-Test Asymp Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 means that there is a significant influence between providing education about promiscuity and broken home families on the incidence of pregnancy out of wedlock in teenagers. There is an influence between providing education about promiscuity and broken home families on the incidence of pregnancy out of wedlock in teenagers. Research show that the prevention of pregnancy outside of marriage for adolescents is needed. For this reason, it is necessary to educate adolescents about the factors that cause pregnancy outside of marriage. These factors include promiscuity which leads to free sex and broken home families that cause adolescents to engage in promiscuity. Education about promiscuity that can result in pregnancy outside of marriage is needed to increase knowledge for adolescents. Good knowledge helps prevent adolescents from engaging in promiscuity because of the adverse effects of such promiscuity. Pregnancy outside of marriage that can lead to abortion can jeopardize adolescent health, especially their immature reproductive health. In addition, there are psychological impacts arising from both pregnancy outside marriage and abortion
Pengembangan E-Book DNA Sekuensing untuk Berpikir Kritis dan Literasi Lingkungan
This study aims to develop a Bio-Genetics Ebook based on In Silico DNA Sequencing and analyze its influence on critical thinking and environmental literacy of grade X students at SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta. The learning media in the form of an ebook produced examines and analyzes populations and species by utilizing computing technology in the form of DNA sequencing using NCBI in DNA analysis and Mega to obtain a phylogenetic tree. The student needs analysis stage revealed that students need interactive learning media that is easy to carry anywhere. The design stage produced an ebook design with superior content of in silico DNA sequencing, bioinfo, case studies, and quizzes. From the results of the media and material feasibility test carried out at the development stage, the results were 84% and 89% respectively. The ebook was considered suitable for use and only required minor adjustments. Educators and students evaluated the small group trial, with scores of 84% and 82% respectively, indicating that the trial could be used as a biology learning medium. The use of In Silico DNA Sequencing-based Bio-Genetics Ebook on critical thinking skills and environmental literacy of students has increased, according to the results of the MANOVA hypothesis test which also showed a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Thus, the developed ebook is suitable for use as a biology learning medium and to improve critical thinking skills and environmental literacy of students
The Determinant Factors Influencing the Competency of Science Teachers in Aceh Province, Indonesia
Teacher competence is one of the critical elements in the success of education in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the determinant factors influencing the competence of science teachers in the Province of Aceh, Indonesia, with a focus on the impact of academic supervision, work motivation, and infrastructure facilities on teacher competence and its implications for organizational support. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using questionnaires and Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The research sample consists of 116 high school teachers from three districts in Aceh. The results indicate that academic supervision and infrastructure facilities have a significant influence on organizational support, while work motivation does not have a significant impact. Organizational support, in turn, has a positive and significant influence on teacher competence. These findings suggest that improving the quality of academic supervision and the availability of infrastructure facilities can enhance organizational support, which subsequently contributes to the improvement of teacher competence. This study provides practical contributions to the development of educational policies, particularly in supporting the enhancement of teacher competence through the optimization of supervision, motivation, and facilities.Teacher competence is one of the critical elements in the success of education in Indonesia. Students’ Perception Toward the Utilization of Tiktok as Vocabulary Learning Media
TikTok videos serve as a prevalent method for augmenting vocabulary acquisition. This study aims to describe students' perceptions and motivation toward the role of TikTok in increasing vocabulary. This study employs a qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were students from SMA Sang Timur Yogyakarta during the academic years 2024 and 2025. The interview questions were adapted from interview questions developed by Anumathan & Hashim (2022). The results of the study TikTok videos are considered a good medium for increasing students' vocabulary and can be a supporting medium for teachers to teach with unique content and methods. In addition, students enjoy using TikTok as a learning medium because of its various interesting videos, features, and filters. However, students think that TikTok cannot be employed as the main media for acquiring vocabulary, other sources are still needed to increase vocabulary more rapidly. It can be summarized that students consider the utilization of TikTok can increase their vocabulary. Also, with TikTok, students agree that they have more fun exploring vocabulary both as viewers and content creators
Teaching Strategies in Physics Education: A Systematic Literature Review
Physics is a complex science discipline that intertwined with other disciplines (e.g. chemistry, life sciences, and mathematics), making it challenging for other learners to learn. To cope, educators developed strategies tailored to the needs of learners and their context. This article conducts a comprehensive systematic literature review of research articles available in Google Scholar that focuses on the concept of innovative strategies in teaching physics. Guided by the PRISMA model, 119 articles were identified, and of these, 31 articles were deemed relevant to the study. The result shows that the most used method in developing teaching strategies in physics is quasi-experimental followed by research and development. Result shows that physics education strategies are the most explored topic followed by physics laboratory innovations. Moreover, the recently published articles can be classified into two themes: non-digital teaching strategy and technology-aided teaching strategy. Outcomes of these developed strategies have shown improved learning among students and the development/enhancement of skills necessary in the 21st century such as problem-solving, analytical thinking, visualization, and social skills. Thus, this shows that the innovation of methodology-oriented new teaching strategies to address challenges in learning physics is crucial for improving conceptual understanding among learners
Antibacterial Effectiveness Test of Wrap Leaf Extract (Smilax rotundifolia) Against Escherichia coli and Propionibacterium acnes Bacteria
Diarrhea and acne, caused by the bacteria Escherichia coli and Propionibacterium acnes, are common illnesses in children and adults. Antibiotics can overcome bacterial infections, but cases of antibiotic resistance are increasing. This study aims to determine the effect of wrap leaf extract (Smilax rotundifolia) on the growth of P. acnes and E. coli. This research can support microbiology-based science learning that utilizes biodiversity for students. Phytochemical tests showed that the extract contained flavonoids, alkaloids and saponins. The results of antibacterial testing showed that wrap leaf extract was able to inhibit the growth of P. acnes bacteria from concentrations of 10% and 15% with an average inhibition of 5.31 mm and 6.42 mm, and the positive control (Amoxicillin) had an inhibition of 7.26 mm. However, E. coli did not show any inhibition zone. The Mann-Whitney test results showed that the wrapper leaf extract has antibacterial effectiveness by comparing the negative control with a concentration of 10% and 15% and the positive control with a concentration of 10%. There is a difference between the concentration comparison where the Sig.<0.05 value. Then, comparing the positive control with a concentration of 15% produces a Sig.>0.05 value, meaning there is no difference between the two.Penyakit yang sering ditemukan pada anak-anak hingga dewasa adalah diare dan jerawat, bakteri Escherichia coli dan Propionibacterium acnes merupakan salah satu penyebabnya. Infeksi bakteri dapat diatasi dengan penggunaan antibiotik. Namun, pelaporan kasus resistensi antibiotik semakin meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun bungkus (Smilax rotundifolia) terhadap pertumbuhan P. acnes dan E. coli. Hasi uji fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun bungkus mengandung flavonoid, alkaloid dan saponin. Hasil pengujian antibakteri menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun bungkus mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri P. acnes dari konsentrasi 10% dan 15% dengan daya hambat rata-rata 5.31 mm dan 6.42 mm, serta kontrol positif (Amoxicillin) memiliki daya hambat 7.26 mm. Namun terhadap E. coli tidak menunjukkan adanya zona hambat. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan ekstrak daun bungkus memiliki efektivitas antibakteri dengan membandingkan kontrol negatif dengan konsentrasi (10%, 15%) serta membandingkan kontrol positif dengan konsentrasi 10% terdapat perbedaan antara perbandingan konsentrasi tersebut dimana nilai Sig.<0,05. Kemudian membandingkan kontrol positif dengan konsentrasi 15% menghasilkan nilai Sig.>0,05 yang berarti tidak adanya perbedaan antara keduanya
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya “INKAYA” Berbasis Unity untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPAS Peserta Didik Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar
Based on pre-research data at SDN Tambangan 01 Semarang, the problem of the lack of interesting and IT-based learning media was found. This study aims to develop, assess the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of interactive learning media Inkaya based on Unity in the subject of science for grade IV. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall model involving 10 steps. The study population consisted of 28 grade IV students. Data collection techniques include tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation, as well as data analysis using normality tests, t-tests, and N-gain tests. The results of the study showed that the Inkaya learning media based on Unity was feasible to use with a feasibility of 90% for presentation by media experts and feasibility of content by material experts. This media has also proven effective in improving student learning outcomes with a t-test value of 0.000 (significant) and an N-gain of 0.656 (moderate criteria). In conclusion, the Inkaya learning media based on Unity is effective and feasible to use in learning science for the material of Indonesian cultural wealth.Berdasarkan data pra-penelitian di SDN Tambangan 01 Semarang, ditemukan permasalahan kurangnya media pembelajaran menarik dan berbasis IT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mengkaji kelayakan, dan menguji keefektifan media pembelajaran interaktif Inkaya berbasis Unity pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg & Gall yang melibatkan 10 langkah. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 28 peserta didik kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji t, dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran Inkaya berbasis Unity layak digunakan dengan kelayakan 90% untuk penyajian oleh ahli media dan kelayakan isi oleh ahli materi. Media ini juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai uji t sebesar 0,000 (signifikan) dan N-gain sebesar 0,656 (kriteria sedang). Kesimpulannya, media pembelajaran Inkaya berbasis Unity efektif dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi kekayaan budaya Indonesia. 
Analisis Penguasaan Konsep Siswa SMA pada Materi Fluida Statis melalui Pembelajaran PBL Berbantuan Google Sites
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of PBL assisted by Google Sites in improving students' mastery of static fluid concepts. The research used mixed method research, Sequential Explanatory design. The research subjects were students of SMAN 01 Candipuro class XI MIPA, consisting of 35 experimental class students and 35 control class students. Quantitative data obtained from pretest and posttest with multiple choice instrument questions. The results of the T test on the pretest (0.931) showed no difference in initial ability between classes, while the Mann-Whitney test on the posttest (0.000) showed a significant difference between the two classes. The effectiveness of PBL aided by Google Sites is shown by the N-Gain of the experimental class (0.77, high category) which is greater than the N-gain of the control class (0.39, medium category). Qualitative data obtained from interviews revealed that the features of Google Sites, the presentation of contextual problems through videos, images, articles, and the investigation stage helped students build their own concepts and overcome misconceptions. This finding shows that PBL assisted by Google Sites is effective in improving students' mastery of the concept of static fluid.Penguasaan konsep yang kuat sangat penting untuk pemecahan masalah. namun, masih banyak siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tentang fluida statis. Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) secara efektif meningkatkan pemahaman, tetapi media pembelajaran yang terbatas menimbulkan tantangan. Google Sites, sebagai LMS, dapat mendukung Implementasi PBL. Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas PBL berbantuan Google Sites dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep fluida statis siswa. Dengan menggunakan Menggunakan pendekatan Mixed Method Research dengan desain Sequential Explanatory, data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, post-test, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini melibatkan satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol di SMA Negeri Candipuro. Model PBL diterapkan melalui lima sintaks utama yang didukung oleh Google Sites. hasil Independen Sample T-Test menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada pre-test (p = 0,931), sedangkan hasil uji Mann-Whitney post-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan (p = 0.000). Kelas eksperimen memiliki N-Gain sebesar 0,77, yang menunjukkan efektivitas yang tinggi. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa PBL berbantuan Google Sites membantu memperbaiki miskonsepsi, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, dan mendorong eksplorasi konsep. Dengan demikian, PBL dengan Google Sites terbukti lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan penguasaan siswa terhadap konsep fluida stati
Teaching Materials Based on Socio Scientific Issues: An Effective Strategy to Improve Science Literacy and Critical Thinking Skills
The low level of science literacy and critical thinking as well as the lack of contextual teaching materials encourage the development of more relevant and meaningful teaching materials. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI)-based teaching materials in improving students' science literacy and critical thinking skills. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design involving 120 students from SMPN 1 Bandar Negeri Semuong and SMPN 1 Wonosobo. Data were collected through pretests and posttests that measured science literacy and critical thinking skills, then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that the experimental group using SSI-based teaching materials had a higher n-Gain score in both science literacy (0.71, high category) and critical thinking skills (0.71, high category) than the control group. The value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 indicates a significant difference between the two groups. This finding indicates that SSI-based teaching materials are effective in improving students' science literacy and critical thinking skills through the presentation of relevant socio-scientific issues that encourage analysis, evaluation, and inference. Thus, the application of SSI-based teaching materials can be an innovative strategy to improve the quality of science learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group yang melibatkan 120 siswa dari SMPN 1 Bandar Negeri Semuong dan SMPN 1 Wonosobo. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest yang mengukur literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis SSI memiliki n-Gain score yang lebih tinggi baik pada literasi sains (0,71, kategori tinggi) maupun keterampilan berpikir kritis (0,71, kategori tinggi) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Nilai Asymp. tanda tangan. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis SSI efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui penyajian isu-isu sosio-saintifik yang relevan yang mendorong analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Dengan demikian, penerapan bahan ajar berbasis SSI dapat menjadi strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sains.
 
Human Resources Strategy in The Implementation of Electronic Medical Records in Hospitals: Literature Review
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) represent a digital transformation aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services. However, EMR implementation faces significant challenges, particularly in the human resources (HR) domain, such as a lack of technical competence and resistance to change. This study aims to identify the barriers and strategies for EMR implementation from an HR perspective. This study employed a literature review with a critical appraisal method, analyzing 14 studies published between 2017-2022. Journals were selected based on their relevance to the EMR theme in healthcare facilities. The critical appraisal process validated the validity, results, and relevance of scientific evidence to address the methodology and mind mapping for the literature review. Journals were filtered using inclusion and exclusion criteria, and thematic analysis was conducted to identify factors influencing the effectiveness of EMR implementation. A total of 14 studies were included in this literature review. Analysis and synthesis revealed that barriers and strategies for EMR implementation from an HR perspective can be categorized into six aspects: management support, knowledge and skills regarding EMR, organizational culture, user characteristics, and user perspectives. Successful EMR implementation requires active collaboration between management, users, and supporting parties, with ongoing support to address barriers and enhance technology adoption
