Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Make A Match Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Materi Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan Pada Siswa Kelas IX SMPN 2 Kalibaru Banyuwangi
Pembelajaran IPA merupakan bentuk usaha mengembangkan dan membina sumber daya manusia. Pembelajaran IPA memiliki metode – metode yang harus diterapkan agar siswa tertarik dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar IPA Materi Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Kalibaru Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivlent control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh melalui tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat (uji homogenitas dan uji normalitas) dan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas, menunjukan bahwa data memenuhi asumsi distribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis dilakukan melalui independent samples test dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 terdapat pengaruh terhadap model pembelajaran Make a Match. Dengan demikian, Hipotesisnya adalah nilai signifikansi (sig) < 0,05 maka ada H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Kalibaru Banyuwangi
E-Book Ipa Terintegrasi Potensi Lokal Pembuatan Petis Berbasis PBL-ESDUntuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa Smp
This study aims to determine the effect of science e-books integrated with local potential based on PBL-ESD on students' science literacy skills on the sub-topic of mixture separation methods. This research is an experimental research with One Group Pretest-Postest research design. The population in this study were VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta and the sample technique used was random sampling, namely VIII-f and VIII-i classes totaling 55 students. The instrument used was a test in the form of multiple choice questions to measure students' science literacy skills. Paired Samples T-Test test results obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 <0.05 which shows there is a change in the improvement of students' science literacy skills between before and after using the e-book. The increase in students' science literacy skills is supported by the N-gain value of 0.24 which is included in the low category and the effect size test results of 0.59 which shows a moderate category. The highest indicator of students' science literacy ability is explaining phenomena scientifically . So it can be concluded that there is an effect of science e-book integrated with local potential based on PBL-ESD on students' science literacy skills on mixture separation material.Literasi sains merupakan kemampuan yang harus siswa miliki pada abad 21. Namun, di Indonesia kemampuan literasi sains dan kesadaran budaya masih rendah.Salah satu penyebabnya adalah inovasi bahan ajar yang belum optimal menyebabkan proses pembelajaran yang kurang efektif dan siswa tidak aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh e-book IPA terintegrasi potensi lokal petis berbasis PBL-ESD terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada sub topik metode pemisahan campuran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta. Pengambulan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling yaitu kelas VIII-f dan VIII-i yang berjumlah 55 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berupa soal pilihan ganda untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Samples T-test, uji N-Gain dan effect Size. Hasil uji Paired Samples T-Test Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan terdapat perubahan peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan e-book IPA. Peningkatan keefektifan kemampuan literasi sains siswa diperkuat oleh hasil nilai score N-gain sebesar 0,24 yang termasuk pada kategori rendah dan hasil uji effect size dengan skor 0,59 yang menunjukkan kategori sedang. Indikator kemampuan literasi sains siswa indikator paling tinggi adalah menjelaskan fenomena secara ilmiah sedangkan indikator peling rendah yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam menafsirkan data dan bukti ilmiah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh e-book IPA terintegrasi potensi lokal petis berbasis PBL-ESD terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada sub topik metode pemisahan campuran, namun tidak secara signifikan
Efektivitas Implementasi Model Problem-based Learning Dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Sains Pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan Di SMA
This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model on improving the scientific literacy of class X students of SMAN 1 Piyungan on environmental pollution material. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Piyungan, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample was class E1 as an experiment and class E2 as a control with the same number of students, namely 36 students. Data on students' scientific literacy abilities were obtained using multiple-choice questions. Analysis of the results of students' scientific literacy abilities was calculated using nonparametric statistics, namely the Mann Withney test. The PBL model is effective in improving students' scientific literacy abilities, as can be seen from the results of students' average scores or the results of the Mann Withney test. The average result of scientific literacy abilities in the experimental class was 77.20 with an N-Ggain value of 0.77, indicating that the increase was in the high category, while the average scientific literacy ability in the control class was 41.28 with an N-Ggain value of 0.41, indicating that the increase was in the moderate category. Based on the Mann Whitney test, the students' scientific literacy ability obtained a sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, meaning that there is a significant difference in students' scientific literacy ability between the control class and the experimental class. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that students' scientific literacy ability increases with the PBL model on environmental pollution material.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-based Learning (PBL) pada peningkatan literasi sains siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Piyungan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Piyungan, semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel yaitu kelas E1 sebagai eksperimen dan kelas E2 sebagai kontrol dengan jumlah siswa sama yaitu 36 siswa. Data kemampuan literasi sains siswa diperoleh menggunakan tes soal pilihan ganda. Analisis hasil kemampuan literasi sains siswa dihitung menggunakan statistik nonparametrik yaitu uji Mann Withney. Model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa, dapat diketahui dari hasil nilai rata-rata siswa atau hasil uji Mann Withney. Hasil rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 77.20 dengan nilai N-Ggain 0.77, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dengan kategori tinggi, sedangkan rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains pada kelas kontrol sebesar 41.28 dengan nilai N-Ggain 0.41, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan uji Mann Withney kemampuan literasi sains siswa diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, artinya terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa meningkat dengan model PBL pada materi pencemaran lingkungan
PENGEMBANGAN E-BOOK FISIKA BERBASIS SOCIO SCIENTIFIC ISSUE (SSI) BERBANTUAN HEYZINE FLIPBOOK PADA MATERI FLUIDA STATIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI PESERTA DIDIK
Integrating Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) in physics learning encourage students to actively discuss a problem, understand the nature of science, consider the controversies and their influence on the world both physically and socially. This research aims to produce an e-book on Static Fluid topic based on SSI assisted by Heyzine Flipbook, which is suitable for use to improve students' critical thinking and collaboration skills and determining its effectiveness. This method used in this study is research and development (R&D) with the define, design, develop, and disseminate (4D) model. The define stage aims to determine what is needed in the e-book development. The design stage is designing the e-book based on a certain format. The develop stage involves making the products, namely the e-book and instruments. The disseminate stage involves widespread distribution of the e-book that has been developed. The research result shows that the e-book based on SSI assisted by Heyzine Flipbook is valid based on the evaluation of physics experts and teachers, as well stated valid with very good category by the students’ responses. The e-book helps students to increase their abilities to think critically and collaborate in the classroom.Pengintegrasian Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) dalam pembelajaran fisika mendorong siswa untuk aktif mendiskusikan suatu masalah, memahami hakikat ilmu pengetahuan, mempertimbangkan kontroversi dan pengaruhnya terhadap dunia baik secara fisik maupun sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-Book Materi Fluida Statis berbasis SSI dengan bantuan Heyzine Flipbook yang cocok digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi siswa serta mengetahui keefektifannya.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pendekatan 4D (Define, Design, Develop & Disseminate). Tahap Define bertujuan untuk mendefinisikan dan menentukan apa saja yang dibutuhkan dalam pengembangan e-Book. Tahap Perancangan merupakan tahap perancangan format e-Book yang dikembangkan. Tahap Develop meliputi pembuatan produk yaitu e-Book dan Instrumen. Tahap Disseminate melibatkan pendistribusian secara luas e-Book yang telah dikembangkan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-Book Materi Fluida Statis berbasis SSI berbantuan Heyzine Flipbook valid digunakan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan evaluasi dosen ahli fisika dan guru, serta dinyatakan valid dengan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan respon peserta. E-Book membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan berkolaborasi di kelas
Analysis of Teachers' Needs in Renewable Energy Learning Programs Using SSI Integrated with PjBL-STEM to Enhance Collaborative Problem-Solving and Entrepreneurial Skills
This preliminary study explores the needs of teachers and students in physics learning, focusing on renewable energy topics. Using a survey method, data were collected from 24 high school physics teachers in Lampung Province via Google Forms. The findings were analyzed to identify educational gaps and propose solutions. Results reveal a pressing need for learning programs that enhance Collaborative Problem-Solving and Entrepreneurial Skills. While 83.30% of teachers reported integrating Project-Based Learning STEM (PjBL-STEM) into their teaching, only 23.50% of worksheets used were PjBL-STEM-based, and just 26.70% were self-created. Teachers faced challenges such as limited time and difficulty initiating development. Additionally, only 54.20% of teachers were familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study also highlights gaps in skill assessment, with 75% of teachers not evaluating Collaborative Problem-Solving Skills and 87.50% not assessing Entrepreneurial Skills. Despite using teaching media and worksheets, these gaps suggest a need for more robust tools and methods.The findings underscore the importance of developing renewable energy learning programs integrated with PjBL-STEM. Such programs can address existing challenges, promote SDG awareness, and equip students with critical skills for collaboration and entrepreneurship in the context of physics education.Penelitian ini merupakan studi pendahuluan yang bertujuan untuk menentukan kebutuhan guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya dalam konteks mata pelajaran fisika yang terkait dengan energi terbarukan. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah survei, yang dilakukan di antara 24 guru fisika Sekolah Menengah Atas di Provinsi Lampung menggunakan Google Forms. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian diseleksi dan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi dan memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan ini.
Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan terhadap program pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan Collaborative Problem Solving dan Enterpreneurial Skill. Menurut survei, hanya 54,2% guru Sekolah Menengah Atas yang mengambil jurusan Fisika yang mengetahui tentang Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), Sebesar 83,3% guru yang telah mengintegrasikan PjBL-STEM ke dalam program pembelajaran. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh kuesioner guru, yang menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar guru telah menggunakan media dan LKPD, namun hanya 23,5% guru menggunakan LKPD yang sudah terintegrasi pembelajaran PJBL-STEM dan 26,7% yang merupakan buatan LKPD sendiri. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru terkadang bingung memulai awalnya dan belum ada waktu yang cukup untuk mengerjakannya. Selanjutnya sebanyak 75% guru belum mengukur ketarampilan Collaborative Problem Solving dan sebanyak 87,5% guru belum mengukur Enterpreneurial Skill alam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan program pembelajaran energi terbarukan yang terintegrasi dengan PjBL-STEM menjadi sangat penting
Penyakit Hirschsprung di Indonesia: Faktor Potensial yang Berkontribusi dan Analisis Silsilah
Hirschsprung’s disease (HD) has a complex origin involving genetic factors. While HD cases have been documented in Indonesia, the genetic inheritance is unexplored. This study aims to update HD in Indonesia, determine the inheritance pattern through pedigree analysis, and identify the non-genetic factors contributing to HD, including parental demographics and maternal aspects. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 87 respondents across Indonesia. The results revealed a male-to-female incidence ratio of 1.90:1, with the ultra-short segment being the most common type (75.86%), and familial cases accounted for 8%. Seventeen patients exhibited other congenital abnormalities, with pneumonia, redundant colon, and cardiac defect as the highest cases. Over 70% of the parents were aged 20-35 and had relatively high education and income levels. Notably, nearly half of the mothers experienced food aversion in the first trimester (n=38) and frequently consumed fast or instant food during pregnancy (n=33). The study confirmed that HD follows an autosomal recessive inheritance pattern. These findings emphasize the role of genetic inheritance in incidents of HD, which is valuable for developing early detection strategies and providing genetic counseling for at-risk families. Maternal lifestyle factors may play a role in the development of HD, which needs further investigation
Analysis of Assessment Instrument Needs to Measure Students Critical Thinking Skills and Self-Efficacy in Physics Learning
This research is a preliminary study that aims to determine the needs of teachers and students in the learning process, especially in the material of particle motion dynamics. The research method chosen was a survey, which was conducted on 20 physics teachers and 30 high school students in the MIPA field in Lampung Province using Google Form. The collected data were then curated and analyzed to identify and address educational needs. The results of the data analysis showed a demand for assessment instruments that can measure critical thinking skills and self-efficacy in physics learning. According to the survey, 45% of teachers never assess critical thinking skills and 60% of teachers never assess self-efficacy. Teachers do not apply because of the lack of examples or instruments owned to assess critical thinking skills and self-efficacy. Teachers also do not have assessment instruments that are easy, practical, and appropriate during the learning process. Physics learning assessment at school has not optimized critical thinking skills well, so critical thinking skills are still low, and self-efficacy is still an obstacle. Therefore, the development of assessment instruments to measure critical thinking skills and student self-efficacy in physics learning is very important
Integrated PjBL-STEAM Jigsaw on Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking of Students: A Biotechnology Study
Critical and creative thinking are two different ways of thinking, but both are important in problem-solving and decision-making. The aim of this study is to determine: 1) The difference in students’ critical thinking skills on biotechnology material after the implementation of integrated PjBL-STEAM Jigsaw; and 2) The difference in students’ creative thinking skills in biotechnology after the implementation of integrated PjBL-STEAM Jigsaw. The results of statistical tests showed a difference in students’ critical thinking skills after the application of integrated PjBL-STEAM Jigsaw, in both the control group and the experimental group. Post-hoc tests revealed a significant difference in critical thinking between Pertiwi High School and SMAK Rehoboth Ambon in the experimental group. The post-hoc tests also showed a significant difference in creative thinking for the control group, with a significant difference between SMAK Rehoboth and SMA Pertiwi Ambon. In the experimental group, no significant difference in creative thinking skills was found. Teachers need to develop learning models that enhance students' critical thinking skills, and provide questions that reflect students' critical thinking abilities, which can help students improve both their critical and creative thinking. The Effect of Isometric Exercise on Self Care Ability in Stroke Infarction Patients in Garut Regency
Stroke infarction is caused by blockage in the cerebral artery blood vessels which results in disorders in the limbs so that isometric exercise is needed to increase the patient's muscle strength in meeting their basic needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of isometric exercise on self-care ability in stroke infarction patients in Garut Regency. Quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design with a sample size of 15 stroke infarction patients who had undergone treatment at the hospital. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Data collection used SOP from Technol Health care and the DSCAI-90 instrument. Data analysis used Paired t-test. This study was conducted from October to November 2024 in the Wanaraja Health Center working area, Garut Regency. The results of the Paired t-test, the average self-care ability pre-post isometric exercise action was 18.667 and a p value of 0.00 was obtained. One of the ultimate goals of isometric exercise is to improve the patient's ability to meet self-care needs and individual well-being so that the patient's ability to perform self-care agency increases. There is an effect of isometric exercise on self-care ability in stroke infarction patients. The results of the study can be used in the development of health promotion programs for health centers in carrying out follow-up care for stroke infarction patients at home
Investigation and Analysis of Fuzzy Logic Controller Method on DC-DC Buck-Boost Converter
This study evaluates the performance of PID, Mamdani FLC, and Sugeno FLC controllers on a DC-DC Buck-Boost Converter to determine their suitability for various control applications. The Buck-Boost Converter, operating in conventional configuration, was modeled using MATLAB/Simulink with parameters: input voltage (12 V), output voltage (24 V), resistor (6.5 Ω), capacitor (1.5 µF), and inductor (10 µH). The converter's switching frequency was set at 20 kHz to ensure stability under varying load and input conditions. PID control was implemented using the Ziegler-Nichols tuning method, while fuzzy controllers utilized Gaussian membership functions and 3×3 fuzzy rule bases. Mamdani employed the centroid defuzzification method, whereas Sugeno used weighted average defuzzification. The simulation tested performance metrics, including rise time, overshoot, output stability, and voltage ripple, under conditions of load and input voltage variations. Results show that PID achieved the fastest rise time (72.452 ms) but exhibited higher sensitivity to input changes. Sugeno provided the most stable output with minimal ripple, while Mamdani demonstrated greater adaptability but less stability compared to Sugeno. Statistical analysis confirmed significant differences in rise time but no differences in overshoot across methods. These findings highlight the strengths of each method, with Sugeno being optimal for stability and precision, PID for fast response, and Mamdani for complex fuzzy logic applications
