Penguatan empati konselor: Upaya peningkatan profesionalitas melalui cased method
Get PDFUpaya peningkatan profesionalitas konselor terus dibutuhkan seiring perkembangan zaman. Salah satu keterampilan yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling yaitu penguasaan empati. Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini berupa penguatan empati konselor sebagai upaya peningkatan profesionalitas melalui cased method. Metode pengabdian merujuk pada pendekatan Service Learning (SL) berbasis case method terdiri atas tiga tahap terdiri atas (1) Service Learning Planning, Analysis and Design; (2) Service Learning Delivery and Phase; (3) Service Learning Evaluation, Reflection and Monitoring. Kegiatan pengabdian diikuti oleh 25 perwakilan konselor yang berasal dari 25 SMP di Malang Raya (Kota Malang, Kabupaten Malang dan Kota Batu) dan dilaksanakan pada 9-31 Juli 2023. Secara keseluruhan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman (14%), sikap (21%) dan perilaku (23%) terkait empati dan implementasinya dalam layanan BK di sekolah. Secara keseluruhan empati konselor ditinjau dari tiga aspek mengalami peningkatan sebesar 19%. Hasil uji Wilcoxon signed rank test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor post-test dibandingkan dengan pre-test. Adapun dampak kegiatan ini terhadap konselor SMP Malang Raya, yakni meningkatkan pemahaman, sikap dan perilaku konselor terkait empati dan implementasinya dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Harapannya para peserta yang terdiri dari perwakilan konselor SMP Malang Raya dapat menyebarluaskan wawasan dan pengetahuan yang didapat kepada sejawat konselor lainnya. Tim pengabdian lanjutan dapat memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan lain untuk menunjang peningkatan profesionalitas konselor SMP di Malang Raya

Perlindungan hukum yang dapat diberikan kepada seorang anak yang berhadap dengan hukum yakni melalui penerapan diversi dan restorative justice sebagai salah satu metode penyelesaian perkara anak di Indonesia. Hal tersebut tentunya dapat menjadi jalan keluar bagi perkara tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh anak agar diselesaikan diluar peradilan, sehingga anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum tidak merasakan proses peradilan seperti pemeriksaan, penahanan dan sidang dipengadilan. Penulisan ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya permasalahan yaitu dari bentuk perlindungan yang diberikan terhadap anak dalam peraturan perundang-undangan di Indonesia, serta penerapan restorative justice dalam mewujudkan upaya perlindungan anak yang melakukan tindak pidana asusila. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penulis ini penelitian yuridis normatif. Sedangkan jenis pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa pendekatan Pendekatan Perundang-Undangan (statute approach), dan Pendekatan Konseptual (conseptual approach).
Abstract
Legal protection that can be given to a child in conflict with the law is through the application of diversion and restorative justice as a method of resolving child cases in Indonesia. This of course can be a way out for criminal cases committed by children to be resolved outside the court, so that children in conflict with the law do not feel the judicial process such as examination, detention and trial in court. This writing is motivated by the existence of problems, namely the form of protection provided to children in the laws and regulations in Indonesia, as well as the application of restorative justice in realizing efforts to protect children who commit immoral crimes. The type of research conducted in this author is normative juridical research. While the type of approach in this study uses several approaches to the Legislative Approach (statute approach), and the Conceptual Approach (conceptual approach)

No full textThe marriage of pregnant women due to adultery is a very worrying problem, especially the problem in the Palas neighborhood, Bendungan Village, Cilegon District, Cilegon City. This research problem is important because it impacts the rights and legal protection of the individuals involved. Therefore, this research aims to discuss: the community's views on this case, the legal consequences for children born from this marriage, and the obstacles faced by women pregnant as a result of adultery in accessing legal rights and protection in the Palas environment. The research method used is qualitative, with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations of the community in the Palas area. Data analysis was carried out thematically to identify patterns of views, legal impacts and obstacles faced. Based on the research results, it can be concluded: The views of the Palas Environmental community reflect the complexity of values, norms and beliefs that shape their perspective on the marriage of women who become pregnant as a result of adultery. The diversity in views suggests that a holistic approach and taking into account local cultural and social context is needed to understand the complex dynamics involved in this issue. The legal consequences of children born from marriage resulting from adultery are related to guardianship and inheritance according to Islamic Law and Positive Law, reflecting the complexity and duality in the legal position of children. The need for cooperation between the Islamic legal system and civil law to accommodate children's rights fairly and fairly is important in ensuring optimal protection of the rights of children born from this situation. Then, women who become pregnant as a result of adultery in the Palas area face a number of various obstacles and barriers in accessing legal rights and protection. Efforts to overcome this obstacle require a holistic approach involving the community, government and relevant institutions so that women's rights can be guaranteed and fair legal protection can be accessed optimally.Perkawianan wanita hamil akibat zina menjadi pemasalahan yang sangat memperihatinkan, khususnya permasalahan yang terdapat di Lingkungan Palas, Kelurahan Bendungan, Kecamatan Cilegon, Kota Cilegon. Permasalahan penelitian ini penting karena berdampak pada hak-hak dan perlindungan hukum bagi individu yang terlibat. Oleh karena itu maka penelitian ini bertujuan membahas tentang: pandangan masyarakat terhadap kasus tersebut, akibat hukum terhadap anak yang lahir dari perkawinan tersebut, dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh wanita hamil akibat zina dalam mengakses hak-hak dan perlindungan hukum di lingkungan Palas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap masyarakat di Lingkungan Palas. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola pandangan, dampak hukum, dan kendala yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: Pandangan masyarakat Lingkungan Palas mencerminkan kompleksitas nilai, norma, dan keyakinan yang membentuk perspektif mereka terhadap perkawinan wanita hamil akibat zina. Adanya diversitas dalam pandangan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang holistik dan memperhitungkan konteks budaya dan sosial lokal diperlukan untuk memahami dinamika kompleks yang terlibat dalam masalah ini. Akibat hukum anak yang lahir dari perkawinan akibat zina terkait dengan perwalian dan kewarisannya menurut Hukum Islam dan Hukum Positif mencerminkan kompleksitas dan dualitas dalam kedudukan hukum anak. Perlunya kerjasama antara sistem hukum Islam dan hukum sipil untuk mengakomodasi hak-hak anak secara adil dan berkeadilan menjadi penting dalam memastikan perlindungan yang optimal terhadap hak anak yang dilahirkan dari situasi tersebut. Kemudian wanita hamil akibat zina di Lingkungan Palas, menghadapi sejumlah kendala dan hambatan yang beragam dalam mengakses hak-hak dan perlindungan hukum. Heuristic political behavior in the 2024 presidential general election: Fandom humanies case study
Get PDFThe K-Popers phenomenon in the elections in Indonesia in 2024 is the first record in the history of election contestation because it contains a combination of South Korean Pop culture and Indonesian Politics. K-Pop fans have the characteristics of a strong social group so that when they enter politics they join the Humanies fandom and form a social group that supports Anies Baswedan as a candidate for President of Indonesia in 2024-2029. This research aims to describe the representation of heuristic political behavior from the Humanies fandom in the 2024 elections. This research uses qualitative research methods with a literature study approach. So the data source in this research comes from secondary data. The research results show that the representation of heuristic political behavior from the Humanies fandom is in the form of creating a social media account K-Pop terms in updates on Anies' activities, right up to making fan merch (photocards, light sticks, glasses, etc.). The political behavior carried out by individuals in the Humanies fandom is based on the styles of K-Popers present in politics which have inadvertently been formed by Anies. This K-Popers style ultimately makes individuals in the Humanies fandom more expressive in politics
Enriching Students’ Multicultural Vocabulary Knowledge through the Language of Advertising on YouTube Commercial Videos
Get PDFOne of the most crucial language aspects which the students should master is vocabulary. Students of D4 English for Business and Professional Communication, State Polytechnic of Malang with a restricted vocabulary are likewise limited in their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. It is difficult to learn a language without first acknowledging the vocabulary. Because of their restricted vocabularies, the students are unable to converse properly with one another. Eventually, with the help of various YouTube commercial videos, students could possibly work using their smartphones, tablets, or laptops while observing and analyzing the YouTube commercials that they watch. This could be beneficial since audiovisual materials have been proven to be good media to promote students’ fun and active learning. From the above explanation it could be inferred that this present study is aimed at enriching students’ vocabulary knowledge through the language of advertising on YouTube commercial videos. It is a case study. The purpose of the present research is to identify the use of language of advertising on YouTube commercial videos to enrich students’ vocabulary knowledge. The research instruments which will be used are observation, pre-test and post-test. The results of this study are students showed positive perceptions towards the use of YouTube commercial videos to enrich their vocabulary knowledge in English for Advertising class. The study also reveals that the use of YouTube commercial video in teaching and learning English gives positive impact to students’ English vocabulary acquisition and helpful for lecturer in delivering the topic to students
Rhetorical organizations of method chapter in bachelor’s theses by Indonesian TEFL undergraduates
Get PDFIn the scientific realm, the validity of studies and the reliability of empirical findings are of high significance to be presented through research reports, one of which is a thesis. In an undergraduate thesis, the methodology chapter plays an important role in reporting any key details, including research procedures, tools, data collection, and data analysis. Novice writer-researchers such as Indonesian undergraduate students face challenges in writing their methods chapters, one of which deals with the issue of rhetorical organization. Using a genre analysis approach by adopting the comprehensive moves model developed by Chen and Kuo (2012), we analyzed the rhetorical moves in the methods chapters of five Indonesian undergraduate theses. Five bachelor theses in the field of teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) were selected as data sources due to their relevance to our objectives and predetermined criteria of data selection. The findings show three key moves used in the chapters, with varying frequency. Move 2 was the most frequently used, followed by Move 3, while Move 1 was the least one. Several recurred steps were presented to achieve the communicative purpose of the key moves. Thus, our findings can be useful for Indonesian student writers’ awareness of the importance of utilizing moves and steps in writing and crafting systematic and compelling method chapters

The government implements character education as a primary strategy to address the decline in character. The book "Tazkirah As-Sami’ Wa Al-Mutakallim Fi Adab Al-’Alim Wa Al-Muta’allim" by Imam Ibnu Jama’ah discusses ethics and morality in education with the aim of shaping better individuals in the future. This research aims to 1) analyze the concept of character education for students in the book "Tazkirah As-Sami’ Wa Al-Mutakallim Fi Adab Al-’Alim Wa Al-Muta’allim" by Imam Ibnu Jama’ah, and 2) evaluate its relevance to character education regulations in Indonesia. The research uses a qualitative approach and library research to produce descriptive data in the form of quotations. The results of the research indicate that: 1) The concept of character education in the book "Tadzkiratus Sami Wal Mutakallim" emphasizes the character of students towards themselves, their educators, and their subjects. 2) This concept aligns with the 18 core values outlined in the national character education regulation in Indonesia (Presidential Regulation No. 87/2017).Education in Indonesia currently emphasizes the importance of the character of the future generations. By integrating learning methods that focus on understanding religion in the context of everyday life, the aim of this research is to provide new insights in developing student empowerment strategies. The importance of understanding religious values permeated through language is the main focus, and this research seeks to make a significant contribution by detailing effective strategies to achieve this goal. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui program literasi, recycle, motivasi, dan parenting
Get PDFBanyak cara yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah, salah satunya dengan menghadirkan program-program unggulan yang menjadi ciri khas suatu sekolah tersebut. Tidak hanya pihak internal sekolah yang dapat memberikan gagasan mengenai program peningkatan mutu sekolah namun pihak eksternal juga dapat memberikan gagasan mengenai program yang dilakukan dalam peningkatan mutu kualitas sekolah, salah satunya dengan kegiatan internship program. Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana mahasiswi Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Islam Malang ikut serta dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Kompleks Pendidikan Dar Al-Ma’arif Kedah Malaysia dengan membawa 4 gagasan program antara lain: Literasi, Recycle, Parenting, dan Motivasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Kompleks Pendidikan Dar Al-Ma’arif Kedah Malaysia adalah Participatory Action Research dengan kegiatan workshop, focus group discussion, konsultasi, serta terjun langsung dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Pada proses pelaksanaannya dilaksanakan dengan 2 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap perlaksanaan. Dalam pelaksanaannya melibatkan seluruh civitas akademika di Kompleks Pendidikan Dar Al-Ma’arif Kedah Malaysia. Luaran yang dihasilkan dengan adanya program ini adalah terciptanya suatu ciri khas yang melekat pada Kompleks Pendidikan Dar Al-Ma’arif Kedah Malaysia yang belum pernah ada dalam suatu system pendidikan di Malaysia sebelumnya
