The Forecasting Inflation Movements in East Java Province Using the Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) Approach
No full textEast Java is the province with the largest population in Indonesia. In addition, East Java's economic growth rate is the highest on the island of Java. The economic growth needs to be supported by other economic indicators. One of the most important macroeconomic indicators is inflation. This study discusses the inflation forecasting for East Java towards the end of 2024. Financial forecasting is crucial as it serves as the basis for government decision-making. The forecasting technique used in this study is ARIMA. The tests indicated that inflation in East Java will decrease towards the end of the year. In December, East Java will experience deflation of -1.75%. Meanwhile, in January and February 2025, the inflation rates were -2.07 and -2.39, respectively. Therefore, the East Java government must implement policies to anticipate this situation.East Java is the province with the largest population in Indonesia. Reincarnation Symbols in Dustin Thao's You've Reached Sam: Roland Barthes' Semiotic Theory
Get PDFThis study analyzes the novel You've Reached Sam by Dustin Thao to find the meaning of the reincarnation symbol contained in the novel by using semiotic theory by Roland Barthes. In semiotic theory there are five codes namely hermeneutic code, symbolic code, connotative code, cultural code, and action code. In the five codes, three of them describe the symbol of reincarnation in the story, namely the hermeneutic code, the symbolic code, and the connotative code. This study uses a text-oriented approach that focuses on the meaning of the symbol of reincarnation in the main character by analyzing and describing the symbol of reincarnation. The techniques used in collecting data in this study are Documenting Data, Taking Notes and Close Reading. The results of this study indicate that of Roland Barthes' five semiotic codes, there are three codes described, namely hermeneutic codes, symbolic codes, and connotative codes. where there are 24 symbols that describe reincarnation, the hermeneutic code has 8 symbols, the symbolic code has 12 symbols and, 4 connotative symbols describe the reincarnation of the main character in the novel You've Reached Sam

Get PDFA good English language workbook for submarine school should effectively meet the specific linguistic and cognitive needs of the submarine personnel. The design of an effective workbook thus calls for in-depth needs analysis. It should cover what language skills are needed, in what context, and what learning styles and preferences the target audience has. This research applies qualitative approach in finding out some elements needed to build a workbook used in English training. The research found that submarine cadets’ preferences for English teaching materials were influenced by various factors including language skill needs, teaching material format, learning methods, cultural needs, specific topics, to supporting technology facilities. Integrating these elements into the design of the workbook materials will make it more effective and attractive to them. These findings then are put as crucial inputs for creating the English workbook for the Indonesian Naval Submarine School cadets. This research aims to broaden knowledge horizon and give significant contribution in English for Specific Purpose especially English for Military.Buku latihan bahasa Inggris yang baik untuk sekolah kapal selam harus secara efektif memenuhi kebutuhan linguistik dan kognitif spesifik personel kapal selam. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Melalui Peran Komunitas Belajar Intrasekolah dalam Mengoptimalkan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi di Sekolah Dasar
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the implementation of intra-school learning communities in improving the quality of differentiated learning in Elementary Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design at Rejomulyo State Elementary School. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that intra-school learning communities play an important role in optimizing differentiated learning through various aspects, namely increasing teacher knowledge and skills, increasing collaboration between teachers, and increasing teacher motivation and leadership. However, there are several challenges in implementing this intra-school learning community, namely time constraints, lack of resources, and lack of support from related parties. This study provides recommendations for elementary schools to implement the implementation of the independent curriculum through the role of intra-school learning communities in optimizing differentiated learning by increasing teacher capacity, developing a culture of collaboration, utilizing science and technology, and evaluating and reflecting to make continuous improvements and developments.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan komunitas belajar intra sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Rejomulyo. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunitas belajar intra sekolah berperan penting dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi melalui berbagai aspek, yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru, peningkatan kolaborasi antar guru, serta peningkatan motivasi dan kepemimpinan guru. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam penerapan komunitas belajar intra sekolah ini, yaitu keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya sumber daya, dan kurangnya dukungan dari pihak terkait. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi sekolah dasar untuk melaksanakan implementasi kurikulum merdeka melalui peran komunitas belajar intrasekolah dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan cara meningkatkan kapasitas guru, mengembangkan budaya kolaborasi, memanfaatkan IPTEK, dan mengevaluasi serta merefleksi untuk melakukan perbaikan dan pengembangan berkelanjutan
LITERATUR REVIEW: PENGARUH BABY MASSAGE TERHADAP KUALITAS TIDUR BAYI USIA 3-6 BULAN
Get PDFDalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil judul “Pengaruh Pijat Bayi Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Bayi Usia 3-6 Bulan”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat jurnal yang penulis pilih. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan literatur dari 353.000 hasil yang ditampilkan, sehingga menghasilkan review terhadap 30 jurnal terpilih. Memantau tumbuh kembang bayi menjadi fokus penting. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tumbuh kembang bayi, diantaranya adalah tidur. Saat tidur, tubuh bayi memproduksi hormon pertumbuhan tiga kali lebih banyak dibandingkan saat bayi terjaga. Masalahnya masih banyak bayi yang mengalami gangguan tidur, dan beberapa penelitian menyebutkan bahwa pijat bayi merupakan salah satu cara mengatasi gangguan tidur. Bayi yang dipijat tidurnya lebih nyenyak dapat mempengaruhi tumbuh kembangnya lebih baik. Hasil jumlah artikel yang direview sebanyak 30 artikel menunjukkan ada
pengaruh pijat yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas tidur bayi.

Chronic rhinosinusitis unveiling a two decades ethmoid foreign body: a case report
Get PDFWe report a case of a 50-year-old female who presented with rhinosinusitis-like symptoms, which she had been experiencing intermittently for over two decades. Her medical history revealed a nasal surgery performed approximately 22 years ago, after which she continued to experience unresolved symptoms despite multiple treatments. A Computed Tomography (CT) scan of the paranasal sinuses revealed findings with ethmoiditis, prompting the decision for endoscopic sinus surgery to address the underlying pathology. During surgery, a 3 cm gauze was discovered after opening the posterior ethmoid sinus. We highlight an unexpected foreign body inside the ethmoid sinus based on an unidentified picture from the CT scan, which we accidentally discovered during endoscopic surgery. This case underscores the importance of considering a retained foreign body as a potential cause of chronic rhinosinusitis, even many years after the initial surgical intervention. The unexpected identification of the gauze, which was not depicted in the preoperative CT scan, highlights the challenges in diagnosing retained foreign bodies within the complex anatomy of the sinuses. The report discusses the clinical presentation, diagnostic challenges, and management of this unusual case, contributing valuable insights to the literature on chronic rhinosinusitis and retained foreign bodies in the sinonasal region.We report a case of a 50-year-old female who presented with rhinosinusitis-like symptoms, which she had been experiencing intermittently for over two decades. The formation of religious moderation through strengthening attitudes of tolerance between religious communities is an important step in creating social harmony in a very heterogeneous society.Religious moderation, which prioritizes a wise attitude and a middle path in religion, is one of the main pillars in maintaining peace and unity.In the context of Indonesia which consists of various tribes, religions, and cultures, an attitude of tolerance between religious communities has a crucial role in reducing the potential for conflict and radicalization.Therefore, this study intends to map the values of tolerance that are implemented in living together in diversity through dialogue, exemplary behavior, regulations or local policies that are very inclusive.Understanding the importance of an attitude of religious moderation can lead someone to an attitude of mutual tolerance and respect.Increasing understanding of the importance of religious moderation can distance one from attitudes of extremism.The results of this study indicate that strengthening religious moderation can be realized through an exemplary and togetherness approach, mutual tolerance in the framework of living together in diversity.

Moderasi beragama, yang mengutamakan sikap yang bijak dan jalan tengah dalam beragama, menjadi salah satu pilar utama dalam menjaga kedamaian dan persatuan. Dalam konteks Indonesia yang terdiri dari berbagai suku, agama, dan budaya, sikap toleransi antar umat beragama memiliki peran krusial dalam mengurangi potensi konflik dan radikalisasi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk memetakan nilai-nilai toleransi yang diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan bersama dalam keragaman melalui dialog, keteladanan, regulasi ataupun kebijakan lokal yang sangat inklusif. Pemhaman akan pentingnya sikap moderasi beragama dapat mengantarkan seseorang pada sikap saling toleran, menghargai. Peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya moderasi beragama, dapat menjauhkan dari sikap-sikap ekstrimisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan moderasi beragama dapat diwujudkan melalui pendekatan keteladanan dan kebersamaan, saling toleran dalam bingkai hidup bersama dalam keberagaman.

Analisis Perkembangan UMKM dalam Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sumatera Utara
Get PDFPenelitian ini menganalisis pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Utara periode 2019–2023 berdasarkan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan kontribusi sektor Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Sumatera Utara dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Utara mengalami fluktuasi, dengan pertumbuhan tertinggi 5,22% pada 2019 dan kontraksi -1,07% pada 2020 akibat pandemi COVID-19. Pemulihan ekonomi terjadi pada 2021–2023, didukung oleh kebijakan pemerintah yang mendukung UMKM. UMKM berkontribusi signifikan terhadap penciptaan lapangan kerja dan pertumbuhan ekonomi, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan modal dan rendahnya adopsi teknologi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di Sumatera Utara
Analisis Prinsip 5C pada Pembiayaan Multiguna di Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Lubuk Pakam
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan prinsip 5C (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, dan Condition) dalam proses pembiayaan multiguna di Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Lubuk Pakam. Pembiayaan multiguna merupakan salah satu produk perbankan yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat karena fleksibilitas penggunaannya untuk berbagai kebutuhan. Prinsip 5C digunakan oleh bank sebagai pedoman dalam menilai kelayakan calon debitur agar dapat meminimalkan risiko pembiayaan yang tidak lancar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan bagaimana Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Lubuk Pakam menerapkan prinsip 5C dalam proses evaluasi dan keputusan pembiayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bank Sumut Syariah telah menerapkan prinsip 5C secara komprehensif, meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam aspek pengawasan kondisi ekonomi dan karakter debitur. Penerapan prinsip 5C yang efektif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembiayaan dan mengurangi risiko kredit macet. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi bagi pihak bank untuk terus meningkatkan ketelitian dalam penilaian aspek karakter dan kapasitas calon debitur agar pembiayaan dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai prinsip syariah
