PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF PARADIGMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN HIGHER EDUCATION
The article presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of modern educational paradigms and presents axiological vectors of higher education development. The authors identify four basic educational paradigms: cognitive informational, personal (humanistic), competence based and cultural (humanitarian). It has been found that, unlike instrument-oriented learning, which provides the translation, reproduction and assimilation of knowledge, skills, technologies (cognitive informational and competence paradigms) and therefore is secondary to the processes of personality development, education should firstly be focused on development of a holistic personality, ensuring its nature and uniqueness (personal and cultural paradigms). It has been proven that at the theoretical level there has been a drastic narrowing of the semantic field of scientific and pedagogical reflection: the focus is on the production of the amount of knowledge, programmed social behaviour, technologies of activity of the future specialists. It has been shown that higher education institutions are more and more inclined to provide pragmatic education, and training professionals-functionaries. It is determined that the reform of modern education should be based on the idea of integrity, which actualises the problem of careful reflexive and methodological support of the modern higher education system and the development of specific humanitarian educational technologies.
TEACHER EDUCATION STUDENTS\u27 SELF-ASSESSMENT OF COMPETENCE FOR COOPERATION WITH PARENTS
To be a teacher in the times of today is a great challenge. In order to respond to the needs of modern society, lifelong learning and mastery of numerous competences are expected of the teacher in various fields of work, wherein cooperation with parents is one of the extremely important areas. The goal of the research was to gain insight into self-assessment of competence of students at the Faculty of Teachers Education for future cooperation with parents. The research was implemented during October, 2020, on the sample of 416 students in their first, third and fifth year at the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb (Croatia). It is a futurological research for whose needs a questionnaire was designed with 26 manifest variables on an ordinal, five-degree Likert-type scale. From the manifest set of variables of competence for future cooperation with parents, three composite variables were formed: general cooperation competence, competence for cooperation directed to teaching efficacy, and competence for cooperation directed to communication with parents. The results show that the total student self-assessment of competences for future cooperation with parents is relatively positive, and the existence of statistically significant differences in all three composite variables. Faculties educating future teachers should introduce obligatory courses which would sensitise and capacitate them for future cooperation with parents
ONLINE SALE OF FASHION GOODS
The main channel for the distribution of retail goods is gradually becoming the Internet. It is also a binding distribution channel for the sale of fashion goods. It allows the retailer to take opportunity not only to post photos, video and audio material showcasing their latest collections, but also to sell the goods directly to the consumer through a website. In Latvia, the purchase of goods in the Internet is growing very fast, especially during the Covid - 19 restrictions, when the purchase of goods in stores is restricted. Throughout Europe and especially in Latvia the crisis caused by Covid-19 has led to the questions, such as - what to do now, what should change and what decisions should be made by fashion retailers so that employees and buyers are not so vulnerable in such unpredictable force majeure situations? According to data from the Interactive Media Retail Group, for example, the UK\u27s online retail turnover increased by 42% in September 2020, by 35.7% in October and by 39% in November compared to the previous year. The aim of this article is to analyze researches about online fashion retailers conducted by US and British researchers and the results of surveys among Chinese and Latvian students. The questions included in the researches and surveys are: Who sells fashion items online? Who helps to create a good fashion website? How do fashion retailers design websites? Who buys online? Conclusions and proposals have been made for retail web developers in Latvia.

Researchers shows that both in Lithuania and in other countries the education of students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) still poses significant challenges, especially for teachers in general education schools. Thus, not only students with ASD but also their teachers need the support of special needs teachers in the educational process. However, there is a lack of research in Lithuania on the strategies used by special needs teachers to educate students with special educational needs (SEN). The research aim - to examine special pedagogues’ experience in individualizing the education of students with ASD. A theoretical analysis of the educational strategies and ways of individualized education of students with ASD has been performed. Empirical research was carried out by the method of survey of special pedagogues who have experience in educating these children. Quantitative data analysis was performed using the methods of descriptive statistics. According to the special pedagogues, the factors of individualization of education of students with ASD are the peculiarities of their learning, communication and cognitive skills of those children. The analysis of the educational goals indicated by respondents revealed their orientation towards the individualization of education, support for students participation in the educational process, etc.
THE ROLE OF REPENTANCE OF CONVICTS IN THE PROCESS OF THEIR CORRECTION AND RESOCIALIZATION
At present, the humanization of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine is carried out through the development and implementation of milder measures of punishment, reduction of sentences for certain crimes, the introduction of alternatives to imprisonment, such as probation. All this requires more serious and comprehensive socio-psychological research on the development and implementation of a wide range of pedagogical and socio-psychological methods of influencing the personality, group, team of convicts. Promising, in our opinion, is the psychological change in the personality of the convict by bringing him to sincere conscious repentance, reconciliation with the victim. This approach will help to correct the convict and positively influence his resocialization and create conditions for successful socialization. The purpose of our study was to determine the role and place of repentance in the process of serving a sentence by convicts and to identify the positive impact of repentance on correction and resocialization, reducing the risk of repeated wrongful acts by persons serving sentences in penal institutions. To achieve this goal, we used the following methods: analysis of scientific literature, observation, questioning, psychodiagnostics testing, extended interviews. The study was conducted in the period from 2010 to 2016 in the correctional colonies of the Donetsk region. It was attended by 3,400 clients of correctional system and 280 employees of penitentiary institutions. In the course of our research, we discovered: at present, views on the concept of "repentance" can be divided into creative, religious, philosophical, socio-psychological, pedagogical, legal; the legal interpretation of the concept of "effective repentance" and its application in the practice of justice revealed a number of problems that require solution; repentance in the psychological and pedagogical sense can be viewed as: an integral part of moral self-improvement; the acquisition of a new spiritual, moral, psychological quality of the person; the life position of the individual in relation to the world, people, his own place in life; the formation of other positive, socially recognized values; an indicator of moral maturity, spiritual and mental health. In this article we offer our own view on the role and place of repentance in the process of correction and resocialization of clients of correctional system. Scientific research of this problem is very important in a methodological sense not only for the penitentiary service, including the work of psychologists in penitentiary institutions, but also for social educators and social workers. It will contribute to the solution of general and special issues of the psychological and pedagogical process of the execution of sentences by employees of penitentiary institutions and the social and psychological process of serving sentences by convicts, will help create reliable conditions for the protection of human rights, civil liberties, including people who are serving sentences.
