MODEL FOR FAIR TRAVELING OF FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AFFECTED BY BEHAVIORAL DISTURBS
Often, parents of children with special needs choose not to venture anywhere. They frequently avoid travels since they are unaware of how to get the accommodations they need during the journey. On the other hand, companies that offer travel services, especially micro-companies, don’t know the needs of families with children with special needs.The research was carried out within the project " Eliminating Social Inclusion" EliSE Nr. 2019-1-LV01-KA204-060427. The principal objective of the EliSE project is supporting parents of children with behavioral disturbs realizing an educational parent-training module for “fair traveling” in European countries and an educational toolkit.Accordingly, the primary target group of this project is represented by social educators that will be trained on how to train parents of children with behavioral disturbs (parent-training).

The consumption of functional food is increasing in almost all industrialized countries, not only because of an aging population, but also because of a more enthusiastic lifestyle, which makes meeting the nutritional requirements more difficult. In part, the transition to processed, easily packaged and pre-cooked foods is considered to be a response to long working hours. It resulted in an increased demand for ready-to-eat foods in recent years and it is expected to continue growing. THE ROLE OF RESTORATION AND SCIENTISTS IN THE PRESERVATION OF ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS OF THE TEMURID PERIOD
The article introduces the history of researches and study of the restoration of architectural monuments of the Temurid period. The architecture of the Temurid period of the Central Asian countries and Afghanistan, covering the period from the 14thto the 15thcenturies, is one of the brightest phenomena of world architecture. Amir Temur was one of the few leaders who was not only the creator of outstanding architectural masterpieces, but was also able to form a special architectural style in his state. The gardening art of this period also reached a high development. Therefore, the study and research of the architecture of this period, as well as its restoration is an extremely important task in world architecture. In this regard, the scientific, research, restoration works of many famous scientists, architects, architects-restorers are of great importance. Among them are Mauer, Zasypkin, Pugachenkova, Mankovskaya, Notkin, Zakhidov, Kryukov, Filimonov and many others who made invaluable contribution to the formation of and the development of the restoration school of Uzbekistan, as well as in the promotion and preservation of the cultural heritage of the Temurid period both in Uzbekistan and abroad. The experience of methods of restoration and conservation of architectural monuments of the Temurid period, including their architectural, compositional and artistic solution is considered and studied in the article.
NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN REZEKNE
The tourism industry was one of the fastest growing industries in Latvia until the pandemic was declared in 2020, which brought the entire industry to a halt. Before the pandemic, travel trends were already moving towards the type of experience offered by hostels, and consumer demand had grown in the past years. Moreover, the industry data show that the number of travellers who use hostels is growing. There are several lodging opportunities in Rezekne, but there is no economical option, which would be a hostel. The research aim is to study the theoretical aspects of a new product and analyse the opportunities for the creation of a hostel – a new tourism product in Rezekne. The methods used in the research are monographic, synthesis, statistical analysis methods, and a survey. The research allowed making recommendations for the creation of a new tourism product – a hostel – in Rezekne. The results of the research and survey showed that hostel-level accommodation is needed in Rezekne
AN INVESTIGATION OF RESIDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF POSITIVE FESTIVAL IMPACTS, COMMUNITY ATTACHMENT AND WELL-BEING: A STUDY ON THE JAMESON FESTIVAL, VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
The Study aims to examine residents’ perception of positive festival impacts, social cohesion and cultural benefits on the relationship between community attachment and well-being. An integration of the Social Exchange and Affect Theories are employed to develop and test a conceptual model that test the interrelationships. The quantitative research approach is used to conduct the study on resident attendees of the Jameson Festival in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Via the convenience sampling technique data are collected. Results of the study indicate that festivals foster community cohesiveness and community attachment. They also show that the perceived positive festival impact: community cohesiveness is strongly related to community attachment and well-being; community attachment mediates the relationships. Contrarily, though the relationship between festival cultural preservation and community attachment was partially supported, there was no significant association to well-being. The theoretical implications of the study lay mainly on the introduction of a new theory to the festival body of studies and the study’ findings shed light and direction on practical implications and future directions for festival organizers and scholar
OPTIMIZATION OF PARAMETERS FOR LASER MARKING AND ENGRAVING ON PLYWOOD AND PINE WOOD MATERIALS
This publication shows the results of CO2 laser marking and engraving on plywood and pine materials at different speeds and powers. Plywood and pine materials were marked and engraved with four different speed and seven different power ratios. Marked and engraved line depth was measured for these materials. PROFESSIONAL READINESS OF FUTURE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN UKRAINE
The article is devoted to the problem of compliance of special education teachers training in Ukraine with the implementation of inclusive education in accordance with international standards. It was found that despite many years of inclusive policy experience in Ukraine, inclusive practice is not implemented properly. The assumptions about gaps in the staffing of inclusive education are made. The level of professional readiness among future special education teachers for practice in inclusive educational environment is investigated and analyzed in the article. The comprehensive questionnaire developed by the authors was used as a diagnostic tool in current study. The questionnaire was designed in accordance with the content of such educational guidelines as the “Professional Development Tool for Improving the Quality of Work of Primary School Teachers” and the “Profile of Inclusive Teachers”. The main professional readiness criteria for practice in inclusive educational environment among future teachers are defined: Interactions; Family and Community; Inclusion, Diversity, and Values of Democracy; Assessment and Planning; Teaching Strategies; Learning Environment; Professional Development. The developed questionnaire is aimed to identify the level of development of different professional readiness components, such as: theoretical-cognitive and practical-active. The results showed low and medium levels of professional readiness for practice in inclusive educational environment among future special education teachers, that is insufficient to meet the social demand for training specialists to work in the new professional conditions of inclusive education.Correlation analysis revealed the leading role of the practical-active component in the system of professional training, which require increased attention to its practical component, based on both university practical training centers and pedagogical internship. The current study concludes on the necessity of transformation of professional training content for future special education teachers in accordance with international scientific achievements in the field of providing quality services to children with special educational needs.
IMPROVING OF TAX LITERACY OF RUSSIAN POPULATION IN TERMS OF DIGITALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY
The article presents an overview of the concept of tax literacy as the main element of financial literacy and the necessary prerequisite for the formation of the tax culture of society and the individual. The expansion of the field of knowledge and skills that form the tax literacy of the population in the era of the digital economy is shown.The aim of the study is to analyze the prerequisites for the formation and development of tax literacy in the Russian Federation and its impact on improving the efficiency of the tax system. The study used traditional methods of scientific research, the monographic method, and the method of comparative analysis.The results of a comparative analysis of the level of financial literacy in different countries showed the insufficiency of its development in Russia. Based on the analysis of the state of taxation of individuals in the Russian Federation, the problems of the formation of tax literacy and tax culture of the population of Russia are identified, for the solution of which the author formulated proposals.
PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT OF COMPULSORY MEASURES OF EDUCATIONAL INFLUENCE ON JUVENILE DELINQUENTS
The article presents the results of an empirical study. The aim of the study is to increase the effectiveness of compulsory measures for juvenile delinquents through the development and implementation of the pedagogical support system of these measures.The urgency of the research is determined by the lack of the scientific and methodological support for the practical implementation of compulsory measures of educational influence on juvenile delinquents; by the low level of the psychological and pedagogical readiness of the subjects of the pedagogical interaction; insufficiency of the pedagogical support as the most important condition of these measures effectiveness. Research methods are pedagogical analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison and generalization of research results, questionnaires, interviews, individual and group conversations, observation, generalization of independent characteristics, statistical methods of information processing.According to the research aim the system of the pedagogical support of compulsory measures of educational influence on juvenile offenders was developed and tested. It includes organizational and substantial, technological and staff resource components and their interaction, the main directions and ways for increasing of the pedagogical training level of the subjects of the pedagogical interaction. The results of the investigation proved the effectiveness of the pedagogical support system of compulsory measures for juvenile delinquents.
ALEXANDER STREKAVIN’S (1889–1971) DRAWINGS OF MITAU – EVIDENCE FOR THE 19TH– EARLY 20TH-CENTURY INVENTIONS
Mitau, the former capital of the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia, became the Courland Governorate centre with the Governor’s residence in a palace on an island formed by the Driksa, the branch of the Lielupe River, and great changes have taken place in this city. Artist Alexander Aleksandrovich Strekavin, who born in Mitau on 17 September 1889, studied art history, read books, investigated documents in the museum, listened to people’s stories and completed materials about events and the development of his native city. His drawings introduce with the new iron bridge for traffic and technical innovations – bicycles, the first car in the Baltics and the first phonograph in Mitau, clothes of citizens during the 19th century and at the beginning 20th century. Since the 1950s, six notebooks in Latvian with memoirs recalling by Aleksander Strekavin and an illustrative appendix – a collection of his drawings “The Atlas of Notes on Ancient Mitau” are in the funds of Jelgava History and Art Museum of Ģederts Eliass. Research object: drawings of artist Alexander Strekavin. Research goal: analysis of changes in Mitau during the 19th century and at the beginning 20th century. Research problem: Strekavin’s drawings stored in the funds of Jelgava History and Art Museum have not been studied. Research novelty: analysis of information on technical innovations included in “The Atlas of Notes on Ancient Mitau”. Research methods: studies of published literature, cartographic materials and archive documents
