The purpose of this study was to select an assertiveness test created in a similar culture, translate it into Latvian and test for reliability. Both, direct and reverse translation was carried out, which was discussed with the author of the test. Repeated pilot testing indicate to high reliability of a translated version of the test.

PEDAGOGICAL PREREQUISITES FOR SUPPORTING STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
Responsibility for the inclusion of students with different learning needs in society should be shared equally by all: teachers, parents, education policy makers, local and national authorities, etc. It is not and should not be the sole responsibility of the educational institution, teachers and professionals of the support team. Inclusive education is an integral component of education policy, while a system of support measures is a key condition for inclusive education. Any student with learning difficulties must receive appropriate support measures in order to be able to learn in mainstream education. It is essential that student`s learning difficulties are identified as early as it is possible, so that individualised and professional support is provided on time. The humanistic pedagogical framework of the chosen teaching and learning strategy is important. Such approach consists of the varied, targeted and professional application of pedagogical approaches and methods appropriate to each student. This is an essential prerequisite for the successful implementation of inclusive education. Using theoretical research methods - analysis of literature and normative acts, as well as empirical research methods - survey, statistical analysis of results and visualisation of data, the aim of the article is to identify existing challenges and develop proposals for successful implementation of inclusive education in comprehensive educational institutions for students with learning difficulties. As a result of the study, the authors developed a number of recommendations for local authorities as school founders, school administrators, teachers and support team professionals in order to help the implementation of inclusive education at schools more effectively. The results of the study confirm the lack of resources for meaningful and effective implementation of inclusive education in educational institutions, as well as reflect the support measures applied by educational institutions for pupils with learning difficulties, identifying influencing factors in the implementation of inclusive education.
WORKING TIME IN AN EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP
Taking into account the statistics, the employer\u27s costs per employee are increasing every year (Central Statistical Bureau, 2021), which increases the risk of incomplete and biased accounting of working time, or even informal employment of employee. Recent findings of case law clearly indicate shortcomings in the regulatory framework for employment relations. Given the global situation, rapid developments and unforeseen changes, the issue of organizing working time in companies to ensure and comply with epidemiological safety measures is relevant
UNDERSTANDING AND THE ROLE OF AMNESTY AND PARDON IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM
Amnesty and pardon institutes have been known for hundreds of years. These institutes were under the control of monarchs or rulers, because only rulers could amnesty or pardon a criminal. Acts of amnesty or pardon were declared in honor of holidays such as marriage or coronation. However, nowadays, for example, in Latvia, the issuance of these acts has become very insignificant, as the number of displaced persons is decreasing. The author can conclude that amnesty and pardon is an opportunity for a convicted person to correct and prevent the commission of new criminal offenses, but this possibility must be determined for a specific group of persons, because in the author\u27s opinion, most convicted persons are not worthy of correction
DEVELOPMENT OF ADULT LEARNERS’ 21ST CENTURY SKILLS IN GREENLAND: FIELD WORK ANALYSIS
The expansion of adult education has been presented as an effective strategy to solve the issues in adult employment. The aim of the present research is to analyse the field work carried out in Nuuk (Greenland) on the development of adult learners’ 21st century skills in Greenland underpinning the elaboration of implications for adult education in Greenland. The methods of the present research comprise both theoretical and empirical methods. The empirical study was based on fieldwork. Two on-site visits in Nuuk between the 8-12th August 2022 were carried out. Observation and participant observation were implemented. A semi-structured interview with two interviewees was conducted. The literature review allows for a conclusion that adult education in Greenland is mentioned neither in Greenland educational policy documents or scientific publications. Despite that, the analysis of the implemented fieldwork allows drawing a conclusion that adult education has been established on a municipal level like the centre Majoriaq, and on a non-governmental level like Kofoeds Skole. Both theoretical and empirical analysis contribute to the conclusion that adult learners’ 21st century skills in Greenland are being developed. However, these skills would need more joint work from all the adult education stakeholders.
