METHODS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN JURISPRUDENCE
The article reveals the content of the category "methodology", the general philosophical and methodological principles of cognition, which are usually defined by the term "philosophical foundations of science"; tasks in the development of general scientific, conceptual problems, conceptual and categorical apparatus, which are concretized by the relevant legal sciences. The article is dedicated to the study of cognitive methods, research in law, incl. In the civil law. It examines the principles of humanities methodology, the system of scientific knowledge methods, its structure, the elements of which are: (1) general (philosophical) method; (2) general scientific methods; (3) interdisciplinary methods; (4) methods of individual legal disciplines, the essence of which is determined, first of all, by the subject of research, the degree of generality of the tasks to be solved. Among recent general cognitive methods, such methods as: synergistic, systemic-dialectical, system approach method, deterministic method are often mentioned.Levels of cognition are characterized, the main criteria for their differences (theoretical and empirical cognition) are: (1) the nature of the research subject; 2) type of research tools used; (3) features of the method, as well as the interaction of the acquired knowledge and its conceptual interpretation, explaining the genesis and interaction of the acquired knowledge, its conceptual interpretation. The aim of the study is to analyze the opinions expressed about the concepts, nature, structure and meaning of cognitive (research) methods: law, the nature of general law and the features of sectoral methods in creating the structure of law in general, their systematization, as well as the nature and structure of the method of legal regulation of civil rights. The object of research is the concept, essence, structure, role and meaning of cognitive (research) methods. The tasks of the research are determined by its purpose, and they consist of the identification of the theoretical approaches of law, their nature, structure, and legal knowledge (research) methods. The article highlights the main aspects characteristic of any cognitive method: (1) objective-content; (2) operative; (3) praxeological aspect.Attention is drawn to the fact that nowadays, in addition to the materialistic dialectic, the idealistic dialectic can certainly be used in scientific research.
TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS IN THE FIELD OF LOGISTICS
The field of logistics has seen numerous technological innovations in recent years, driven by advancements in technology, automation, and data analytics. Some key examples of innovations in logistics include automation and robotics, predictive analytics and maintenance, internet of things and so on. Although these innovations sound advantageous to some, there may be some conflicting thoughts regarding these said advancements in the logistics field. Therefore, this article aims to analyse the beneficial and critical factors as well as the impact that innovations introduce to the logistics field.

Currently, Criminal Law of the Republic of Latvia has no specific sanctions against intentional or unintentional offenses to important energy supply system objects (strategically important objects), consequences of which may have a significant impact on the growth of all the Latvian economy and even have consequences to economy on regional scale.Historically, there has been a distinct understanding of significant objects of energy supply system in Latvia; hence, the Inčukalns underground gas storage is not preventively protected in a special way from the criminal law point of view, although the Criminal Code includes penalties for gas pipelines intentional destruction and damage. It would be necessary to carry out modernization and revision of the penalties provided in the Criminal Law regarding the energy sector by adjusting them according to modern safety requirements and the actual situation in the energy sector
HOW EMOTIONS ARE DEVELOPED: INSIGHTS FROM VYGOTSKY’ AND LEONTIEV’S WORKS
Teacher and learners’ emotions are a significant factor that influences the implementation of adult education. The research aim is to explore the works of Vygostky and Leontiev for modelling the development of emotions in adult education. Theoretical analysis aimed at theory building about emotion development in adult education was applied to the present research. Exploratory type of research was implemented and described in this paper. The present work reflects the insights from the theory of Activity by Leontiev, and the theories of Interiorization, Cultural-historical Activity, and Concept Formation by Vygotsky. The research results in conclusions that teacher’s and learners’ emotions develop in adult education through the educational process. The educational process is gradually implemented in certain sequence. The educational process starts from teaching and external emotions in Phase 1, moves to peer-learning and quasi-emotions in Phase 2, and proceeds further to learning and internal emotions in Phase 3. The inter-connections between intrapersonal and interpersonal levels of emotions were described. The research allows building a theory on emotion development. The research limitations were identified. Directions of further work were proposed.
ANALYSIS OF TOURISTS\u27 ATTITUDE TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION IN THE TOURISM SECTOR

PROBLEMATIC ASPECTS OF HEALTH-PRESERVING COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOL TEACHERS
The article substantiates the problem of health-preserving competence development in teachers of preschool education: as an important task of the modern world, as a priority personal characteristic, as a component of professional training. The essence of the phenomenon of “health-preserving competence” is revealed, the following structural components are distinguished: emotional and motivational, cognitive and activity-centered. The goal of the research is to determine the conceptual foundations of the development of health-preserving competence in teachers of preschool education; data collection and processing of information to clarify problematic aspects of the phenomenon being under consideration. In the course of empirical research, the authors used the method of anonymous thematic survey (questionnaire) and its analysis. The research group consisted of: students of the 4th year of dual mode of study (who work on specialty) – 38 participants (group A); students of the 4th year of part-time mode of study who work on specialty (in preschool educational institutions) – 45 participants (group B) and students of advanced training courses – 53 participants (group C). The total number is 136 respondents. The conducted research proved that the respondents are aware of the main categories of health; are motivated and aware of the importance of health-preserving behavior, but are not sufficiently aware of modern health-preserving technologies. Therefore, the activity-centered component requires to be strengthened for the development of health-preserving competence in teachers of preschool educational institutions. Prospects for further scientific work will consist in the implementation to the system of higher education and advanced training courses for preschool teachers of the elective course “Formation of health-preserving competence in the subjects of the educational process” and determining the effectiveness of its implementation

TRANSLATION INCONSISTENCIES OF EDUCATIONAL TERMS
The article by means of extended literature review draws attention to the most common translation inconsistencies that arise in the rendering of word combinations with the concepts education and learning from English into Latvian and vice versa. The novelty and topicality of the article is related to the need to highlight the transformation of the understanding of concepts in connection with the modernization and changes in the field of education. The study was implemented as an interdisciplinary research analysing Latvia’s education policy documents, dissertations, monographs, encyclopaedias, dictionaries and glossaries using induction, deduction and comparison methods. The research findings allow to emphasize the following major translation inconsistencies: superficiality in distinguishing the substantive meaning of the concepts “education” and “learning”, incorporation of the substantive meaning of two terms into one term, direct adoption of Anglicisms into Latvian, lack of equivalents in Latvian language, use of several similar concepts to render one English term into Latvian that embarrasses the perception of the terms’ meaning.
