No full textIn this reflection I speak about some of my experiences during both my study abroad experience as well as my time working in an economic policy NGO during the summer of 2024. I shared how I felt at various moments as well as observations on my thoughts and feelings about the program and internship. Granada was a beautiful city, and I was lucky to have such a great opportunity to have these experiences. Many experiences were different than what I expected, so I encourage anyone who comes across it to keep an open mind as experiences can vary from person to person when it comes to traveling to foreign countries

No full textDuring Summer 2024, I interned as an M&A Analyst at Worklyn Partners, a private equity firm in New York City specializing in the MSP and MSSP sectors. This opportunity allowed me to immerse myself in the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions, developing hands-on experience in deal sourcing, financial modeling, and due diligence. Working closely with senior professionals, I contributed to the evaluation of acquisition targets, assessed their financial health, and participated in portfolio company meetings. Through this internship, I solidified my interest in the technology and services sectors and developed new learning objectives, including further honing my financial analysis techniques and deepening my understanding of strategic post-acquisition integration. No full textIn fall 2007, Saint Petersburg poet Elena Shvarts (1948-2010) held а series of lectures about Leningrad underground poetry between 1960 and 1980 at the University of Wisconsin (USA). This publication presents transcripts of three of her lectures, in which Shvarts introduces Viktor Krivulin, Aleksandr Mironov, and herself through discussion of several poetic works. As it documents а rare instance of the poet commenting extensively on her own poems, found in the third and fourth lectures, this publication will bе of particular interest to readers and scholars of her work
