A Web-Based Forecasting Approach to Estimating the Number of Low-Income Households Eligible for Social Food Aid Using Holt’s Double Exponential Smoothing
This work presents a web-based forecasting methodology for predicting the quantity of low-income households qualified for social food assistance utilizing Holt’s Double Exponential Smoothing (HDES) technique. Precise assessment is crucial for governmental bodies and social welfare organizations to guarantee efficient aid distribution and effective resource allocation. The proposed method amalgamates time series forecasting models with a web-based application to deliver real-time predictions and accessibility for decision-makers. Historical data on low-income household statistics were employed to formulate and authenticate the forecasting model. The findings indicate that HDES delivers dependable short-term predictions with low error rates, accurately reflecting patterns in the data. This online application offers policymakers an effective means for monitoring socio-economic trends and enhancing the responsiveness of social assistance initiatives. This research contributes by integrating statistical forecasting with web-based applications to aid social policy decisions
UPAYA GURU DALAM MENCIPTAKAN EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM SISWA MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH PLUS DARUL ULUM JOMBANG
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah munculnya kendala belajar yang dialami siswa di MTs Plus Darul Ulum Jombang. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana sikap siswa yang mengalami kejenuhan belajar saat pembelajaran SKI dan faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan kejenuhan belajar SKI yang dialami siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru MTs Plus Darul Ulum Jombang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kejenuhan belajar siswa, yaitu : (1) sikap siswa saat merasa jenuh belajar SKI adalah tidur, meletakkan kepala diatas meja, mengobrol dengan teman sebangku dan sering izin keluar kelas. (2) faktor penyebab kejenuhan belajar SKI yang dialami siswa kelas VII antara lain : suasana pembelajaran kurang menyenangkan, metode yang digunakan guru hanya metode ceramah, kelelahan karena begadang, kelelahan karena anggota tubuh seperti jari-jari tangan yang diakibatkan oleh mencatat materi pembelajaran yang terlalu banyak. Upaya guru dalam mengatasi kejenuhan yaitu : (1) mengadakan sesi tanya jawab terkait materi yang dipelajari, (2) memberi tugas, (3) menampilkan video pembelajaran SKI
The Effect of Problem-Based Learning Model on Vocational Students’ Mathematical Concept Understanding in Solving Numerical Problems
This study was motivated by observations of challenges faced by vocational school students in understanding mathematical concepts. To address this issue, a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model that actively involved students through numerical problem-solving was implemented. The sample consisted of 44 students from two Grade X classes at a vocational high school in East Jakarta. Numerical problems in the form of descriptive questions based on the System of Linear Inequalities in Two Variables (SPtLDV) were used as post-test instruments to assess students’ mathematical concept understanding. The experimental class achieved an average post-test score categorized as high. Hypothesis testing showed that students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the PBL model was significantly better than with the conventional approach. The effect size, calculated using Cohen's d formula, was 2.12—classified as high—confirming the effectiveness of the PBL model in enhancing students' understanding of mathematical concepts through numerical problem-solving
Unveiling Numeracy Competency Domains of High School Students in Indonesia: A Clustering Analysis Approach
This study aims to analyze high school students' numeracy achievement using a data science approach to the 2021–2023 National Assessment data. The analysis covers the domains of Algebra, Geometry, Number, and Data and Uncertainty at three ability levels: knowing, applying, and reasoning. The research methods included secondary data collection, descriptive cleaning and analysis, interdomain correlation, K-Means clustering with Davies–Bouldin Index validation, and result visualization using Python. The results show an increasing trend in national numeracy scores (49,23 to 50,76 to 55,67). The Data & Uncertainty domain reached the highest average (56,79) while having the strongest correlation with the total score. In the cognitive dimension, there was a surge in the ability to applying and reasoning in 2023. The clustering results show that the optimal configuration in 2021-2022 is 7 clusters, while in 2023 it reduces to 3 clusters. These findings suggest prioritizing strengthening data literacy and reasoning skills, along with remediation of number concepts, and targeted interventions based on provincial cluster profiles
Implementasi Strategi Pemasaran Pendidikan Melalui Media Sosial di SMK Alkhairaat Pusat Palu
Perkembangan teknologi terutama media sosial, saat ini menjadi aspek yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat modern. Perubahan perilaku masyarakat sebagai konsumen semakin mengarah pada ketergantungan terhadap informasi online dalam pengambilan keputusan. Keterbatasan sumber daya membuat lembaga pendidikan memerlukan strategi pemasaran yang efektif dengan biaya yang minim. Persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan menjadi faktor utama dalam menarik minat peserta didik. Penelitian ini membahas tentang implementasi strategi pemasaran pendidikan melalui media sosial di SMK Alkhairaat Pusat Palu, yang berfokus pada cara implementasi strategi pemasaran pendidikan melalui media sosial di SMK Alkhairaat Pusat Palu, serta implikasi yang muncul akibat pemasaran pendidikan melalui media sosial di sekolah tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Agar validitas dan kredibilitas data terjamin, dilakukan pengecekan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi strategi pemasaran di SMK AlKhairaat Pusat Palu telah memenuhi komponen-komponen dalam bauran pemasaran (marketing mix) yang terdiri dari 7P: product (produk), price (harga), place (tempat), promotion (promosi), people (orang), physical evidence (bukti fisik), dan process (proses). Proses pemasaran yang diterapkan sudah memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat pemasaran sekolah, dengan menggunakan platform seperti Website, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, dan TikTok. Implikasi dari pemasaran pendidikan melalui media sosial ini terbukti dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta didik setiap tahunnya antara 5 hingga 10%.
Technological developments especially social media, are now a very important aspect of modern society. Changes in people's behavior as consumers are increasingly leading to dependence on online information in decision making. Limited resources mean that educational institutions need effective marketing strategies with minimal costs. Competition between educational institutions is a major factor in attracting student interest. This research discusses "Implementation of educational marketing strategies via social media at Alkhairaat Central Vocational School, Palu," which focuses on how to implement educational marketing strategies via social media at Al-Khairaat Central Vocational School, Palu, as well as the implications that arise as a result of educational marketing via social media in schools. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive research type. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation, which were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and data verification. So that the validity and credibility of the data is guaranteed, the validity of the data is checked. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of marketing strategies at AlKhairaat Central Vocational School, Palu has fulfilled the components of the marketing mix which consists of 7Ps: product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, and process. The marketing process implemented utilizes social media as a school marketing tool, using platforms such as websites, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok. The implications of marketing education through social media are proven by the increase in the number of students every year by between 5 and 10%
Evaluasi Strategik Berbasis Strategic Leadership di SDN 005 Tana Tidung
Evaluasi strategik merupakan salah satu instrumen manajerial yang berfungsi memastikan efektivitas pelaksanaan program serta ketercapaian visi lembaga pendidikan. Melalui proses evaluasi strategik, organisasi pendidikan dapat mengukur tingkat keberhasilan program sekaligus merumuskan rekomendasi perbaikan berbasis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan evaluasi strategik berbasis strategic leadership di SDN 005 Tana Tidung serta menganalisis peran kepala sekolah dalam mengarahkan evaluasi dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan mutu sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi strategik di SDN 005 Tana Tidung berjalan cukup efektif dengan keterlibatan aktif kepala sekolah, guru, dan komite sekolah, meskipun masih terdapat kendala dalam aspek pengelolaan data dan dokumentasi. Kepala sekolah memainkan peran sentral dalam membangun budaya evaluatif, menetapkan visi strategis, serta menindaklanjuti hasil evaluasi secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan strategis kepala sekolah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap keberhasilan evaluasi strategik dan peningkatan mutu sekolah.
Strategic evaluation is one of the managerial instruments that functions to ensure the effectiveness of program implementation and the achievement of an educational institution’s vision. Through the process of strategic evaluation, educational organizations can measure the level of program success while formulating data-based improvement recommendations. This study aims to describe the implementation of strategic evaluation based on strategic leadership at SDN 005 Tana Tidung and to analyze the principal’s role in directing the evaluation and its impact on improving school quality. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that strategic evaluation at SDN 005 Tana Tidung runs quite effectively with the active involvement of the principal, teachers, and the school committee, although there are still obstacles in the aspects of data management and documentation. The principal plays a central role in building an evaluative culture, setting a strategic vision, and continuously following up on evaluation results. This study concludes that the principal’s strategic leadership contributes significantly to the success of strategic evaluation and the improvement of school quality
IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA FLASHCARD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH AL HIDAYAH PLEMAHAN SUMOBITO JOMBANG
Abstract: Children with special needs have characteristics that are usually related to the level of functional development. They include the degree of development of fmotor sensors, cognitive knowledge, language skills, skills and social interaction skills. Cognitive science experts agree that the relationship between learning, memory. This research is motivated by the low score of student learning outcomes in English subject. The implementation of this research was to improve student learning outcomes in English class II subject Hobby material at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hidayah Plemahan Sumobito Jombang. This study used Classroom Action Research which was carried out in 2 cycles with the Kurt Lewin model. The subjects of this study were students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hidayah Plemahan Sumobito Jombang with a total of 24 students. The data analysis technique used was the Flow Model. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The pre-cycle stage of the students' average score was 66.1. The completeness of students is only 10. In the first cycle stage the average student increases to 75. The completeness reaches 16 students in the second cycle stage increases with an average of 84.7 completeness reaches 22 students. The research results show that flashcard media can improve student learning outcomes in subjects 2nd grade English at Madrasah Al Hidayah, the weakening of Sumobito, Jombang
Innovation in Creative Writing Skills for Mathematics Textbooks Using the Design Thinking Method
The need for learning tools that can be mastered by prospective teacher students in the School Field Experience Program (PLP) 2 requires fifth-semester students to develop the ability to design appropriate and effective learning materials. Mathematics textbooks are among the essential tools that must be created for PLP 2, making it necessary to guide students in writing textbooks through a dedicated course. This has led to an innovation in creative writing skills for mathematics textbooks using the design thinking method, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results of this research include the physical development of school mathematics textbooks for middle and high school levels. Testing of the resulting products has placed them in the "very good" category, indicating their suitability for use as learning materials to support PLP 2 activities
Perancangan Aplikasi Inventory Menggunakan Google Appsheet Di Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Jombang
Pemberkasan di badan pusat statistic kabupaten jombang dalam hal meminta dan meminjam barang masih dilakukan secara manual, hal tersebut kurang efektif dikarenakan sering terjadi human eror(kesalahan menulis). Oleh karena itu tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi kesalahan input dalam permintaan dan peminjaman barang, dan pemantauan keluar dan masuknya barang di bps jombang. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, serta pengembangan, dan pengujian aplikasi. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur penting, seperti pencatatan barang masuk dan keluar, laporan stok, serta pemantauan barang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah membuat aplikasi inventory berbasis appsheet yang berfungsi untuk menjawab permasalahan-permasalahan di bps jombang. Dan aplikasi ini sudah di uji menggunakan blackbox untuk memastikan lagi bahwa fitur-fitur yang ada sudah berfungsi dengan baik sesuai yang di harapkan, dan hasilnya adalah sudah memenuhi dan fitur yang ada sudah sesuai dengan yang di harapkan
Perubahan dan Perkembangan Budaya Mutu dalam Pendidikan
Meningkatnya kesadaran dan semakin kritisnya peran keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat dalam proses pendidikan menunjukkan pentingnya membangun budaya mutu yang melibatkan semua pihak terkait, sehingga lembaga pendidikan perlu meningkatkan budaya mutu pendidikan. Budaya mutu merupakan sistem nilai organisasi yang menghasilkan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi kelangsungan dan kelangsungan peningkatan mutu. Budaya mutu terdiri dari nilai, tradisi, prosedur, dan harapan mengenai promosi mutu. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, di mana peneliti memperoleh hasil kajian mendalam mengenai perubahan dan perkembangan budaya mutu dalam pendidikan. Perubahan dan perkembangan kualitas yang diinginkan diawali dengan perubahan yang berarti transformasi dari keadaan saat ini menuju keadaan yang diharapkan di masa yang akan datang. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi budaya mutu pada lembaga pendidikan yang meliputi nilai dan misi sekolah/madrasah; struktur organisasi, komunikasi, pengambilan keputusan, lingkungan kerja, rekrutmen dan seleksi, perencanaan kurikulum, pengelolaan sumber daya dan anggaran, kedisiplinan, serta hubungan masyarakat kualitas suatu sekolah juga dapat dilihat dari tertib administrasinya. Salah satu bentuk tertib administrasi adalah adanya mekanisme kerja yang efektif dan efisien, baik secara vertikal maupun horizontal.

Quality culture is an organizational value system that produces a conducive environment for the continuity and continuity of quality improvement. Quality culture consists of values, traditions, procedures, and expectations regarding quality promotion. In this research, the method used is a literature study, where the researcher obtains the results of an in-depth study regarding changes and developments in quality culture in education. Changes and developments in the desired quality begin with change, which means transformation from the current state to the expected state in the future. There are several factors that influence the quality culture in educational institutions which include: school/madrasah values and mission, organizational structure, communication, decision making, work environment, recruitment and selection, curriculum planning, resource and budget management, discipline, community relations The quality of a school can also be seen from its orderly administration.
