However, the study revealed that safety communication factor as having a lesser relationship with the safety performance, which could be interpreted to mean that there are potential gaps in the existing communication methods. Furthermore, the multiple regression analysis validated that all the independent variables combined have a jointly significant effect on the safety performance. Consequently, the findings from this research underscore the significance of the management role in enhancing optimal safety performances; manufacturing sector may use this information from this study to develop appropriate strategies towards enhancing occupational safety and healt

This study further delves in-depth into direct financial compensation (Base pay and variable pay), indirect financial compensation (Allowance and health care benefits), and nonfinancial compensation (recognition and flexible work arrangements). Cross-sectional research was utilized to determine the data gathered via an online using convenient sampling technique. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression, which were performed to evaluate the strength and characteristics of the associations between compensation types and lecturers' intention to leave. The results indicate that both variable pay (direct financial compensation) and flexible work arrangements (non-financial compensation) are the most important factors in retaining lecturers at the university. These results will be an important factor in the education sector, providing practical ideas for developing compensation strategies as a main influence towards lecturer retentio

Besides, there is limited studies conducted focus on service quality and customer satisfaction quantitatively. Therefore, this study is set forth to investigate the factors that influence road user satisfaction from Bukit Kayu Hitam to Alor Setar, Kedah. By using non-probability sampling techniques, 363 questionnaires were distributed by face-to-face interview to road user who are situated in the urban areas of selected districts in Kedah. Based on the correlation results, this study reveals that service quality factors (reliability, responsiveness and tangibles) and customer satisfaction factors (road sign and safety) significantly influence road user satisfaction. In addition, a multiple regression analysis has highlighted that safety plays the most critical role in influencing road user satisfaction due to the heightened awareness and expectations of road users. These results underscore the importance of prioritizing improvements in reliability, responsiveness, and safety measures along the route to enhance road users' satisfaction and promote tourism and economic development in the region. Future efforts should focus on addressing these key areas to ensure a positive experience for road users and stimulate growth in the Bukit Kayu Hitam area

Sustainability Initiatives (SI), which encompass economic, environmental, social, and governance aspects, have gained prominence due to growing stakeholder interest and are closely related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between institutional factors Economic Constraints and Competition (COMP), Governance Attributes of Board Size (BSZE), Board Independence (BOIND), Board Gender Diversity (BGD) and Board CSR Committee (BCSRC)) and SI, and to investigate the moderating effect of Environmental Policy (ENVP) on the relationship between governance attributes and SI on the financial and non-financial listed firms from 2016 to 2021. Data were collected from the companies assessed and recognized by Nigeria's global CSR Consensus Rater (CSRHUB). A total of 504 firm-year observations were considered using the annual reports and accounts of 84 sampled companies. The panel-corrected standard errors (PCSEs) regression was used to test the developed hypotheses for this study. The result of this study documents that economic constraints measured by Access to Finance (ACFI) shows that ACFI is not significantly related to SI. In contrast, COMP is positive and significantly associated with SI. However, the findings also portray that BSZE is negative and significantly associated with SI. At the same time, BOIND significantly and positively influences SI. Similarly, BGD is significant and positively related to SI. On the contrary, BCSRC is negative and insignificantly related to SI. Even though the environmental policy does not moderate the other variables (BSZE, BOIND, and BGD), the finding shows a positive and significant moderating effect of ENVP on the BCSRC and SI. The univariate result of the t-test also shows that SI has substantially improved positively among nonfinancial sector firms than the financial sector. Hence, this study suggests that regulatory authorities should assess how the companies deal with environmental policies in connection with their boards to ensure a good CSR committee that could be responsible for SI practices among firms in Nigeria

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) has introduced the Interactive Data Extraction Analysis (IDEA) auditing software intending to improve the productivity and efficiency of field tax auditors. The implementation of numerous data analysis and enhancement techniques, such as IDEA, aims to enhance the current work processes. Nevertheless, the utilisation of IDEA in the current work process for IRBM company field tax auditors remain minimal, as indicated by the limited number of company field tax auditors using it. This study aims to uncover the factors that influence a company field tax auditor’s inclination to use an existing auditing software in the workplace. The research approach utilised the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as the framework, combining attitude and training as independent variables. The data were gathered from a sample of 212 company field tax auditors from eight localities in the Klang Valley branches, including Wangsa Maju, Cheras, Bangi, KL Bandar, Petaling Jaya, Duta (Perniagaan), Shah Alam, and Klang. This was done by administering a well-structured questionnaire. The Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) is employed to conduct descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, and regression analysis on the six hypothesized relationships. The results showed that attitude, performance expectancy and effort expectancy were significantly influenced behavioural intention to use IDEA auditing software. The other variables, which are social influence, facilitating condition, and training, are found not to have a significant influence on behavioural intention to use IDEA auditing software. The study hoped to assist the IRBM in future planning and developing strategies to encourage company field tax auditors to utilise IDEA auditing software in the future
