Application of simple additive weighting in the decision support system for determining the best location of temporary waste storage places
Waste is a material that is discarded or discarded as a result of human or natural activities. The increase in waste is proportional to the level of human use of goods used in everyday life. Until now, the waste problem has always been a complaint for all people in cities and villages. One effective way to deal with the waste problem is to select the ideal location for a Temporary Waste Storage Site (TPS). This research aims to build a system that can determine the best location for waste TPS using a Decision Support System (DSS) method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). In this study, seven assessment criteria were used with 148 test data. The tests showed that the computing time required to get the ranking was 12,528 seconds, and memory usage was 226,2422 kb. Also, this system produces an accuracy level of 93.24%, which shows that it can function well using the SAW method and has a pretty good level of accuracy.  Â
Implementation Fuzzy Mamdani Algorithm To Predict Web Based Inventory
Mamdani's fuzzy algorithm enables the use of fuzzy logic to overcome the uncertainties and ambiguities associated with inventory predictions. This study describes implementing the Mamdani fuzzy algorithm to predict web-based inventory. Fuzzy algorithms allow specific reasons to deal with the uncertainties and ambiguities associated with inventory predictions. We collect relevant inventory data, including input variables such as the number of items sold, customer demand, and other factors that affect inventory. We also use historical inventory data to create the Mamdani fuzzy model. We implement fuzzification by specifying a linguistic variable for each input variable and converting the numeric to a linguistic value using a predefined membership function, then build a  rule-based fuzzy Mamdani which includes a set of rules that relate language values as input variables with linguistic values of output variables., i.e., inventory prediction. After the inference process, we apply defuzzification using the Mamdani method to convert the linguistic values of the output variables into numeric values that can be used in practice. Through this implementation, we managed to integrate the power of Mamdani's fuzzy algorithm with web technology so that users can access the inventory prediction system online. This system can assist inventory managers in making better decisions in production planning, stock procurement, and delivery schedule. This system is expected to increase efficiency and optimize inventory availability in a rapidly changing business environment

Organizational commitment is very important for organizations in order to improve organizational performance. Employee organizational commitment can increase or decrease. Knowing the factors that influence organizational commitment is the key to solving the problem of decreasing employee organizational commitment. This research aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership and Secretary support on employee organizational commitment through empowering psychologists as an intervening agent and structural distance as a moderating variable. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 276 civil servants who worked at the Regional Apparatus Organization of Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. The research uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis method used is a structural equation model using the Smart-PLS device. The research results show, 1) Transformational leadership and support from the Secretary directly have a positive and significant effect on psychological empowerment. 2) Transformational leadership and psychological empowerment directly have a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, while 3) Secretary Support and Structural Distance do not have a significant effect on organizational commitment. 4) psychological empowerment fully mediates the influence of transformational leadership on organizational commitment, and also mediates the influence of Secretary support on organizational commitment. 5) Structural distance moderates the influence of transformational leadership on employee organizational commitment in the Bintan Regency Regional Apparatus Organization. And also moderates Psychological Empowerment of Organizational Commitment, but does not moderate Secretary Support for Organizational Commitment. The results of this research recommend that practitioners and leaders in the Bintan Regency Regional Apparatus Organization be able to improve transformational leadership competence in inspiring followers, and encourage the Secretary to accommodate opinions from subordinates, include subordinates in the planning process and increase employee organizational commitment.
Telegram-Based Earthquake Early Warning
Earthquakes are one of the natural disasters whose arrival cannot be ascertained and have a very detrimental impact, both in terms of property losses and lives. Indonesia, with its very active tectonic plate conditions, often experiences earthquakes, so it needs an effective early warning system. BMKG has developed an early warning system that informs of earthquake events through various media. However, this system still has weaknesses in the speed of delivering information to the public. This research aims to design and make a prototype of an earthquake early warning tool that can send information in the form of notifications and warning alarms using the Telegram application. The use of Telegram as a medium for conveying information was chosen because of its high speed, security, and accessibility. This research was carried out at the Medan State Polytechnic using the MPU 6050 sensor to detect earthquake vibrations and send data to a database containing seismic information. The results of the research were able to make a prototype of an earthquake early warning tool that uses Telegram for the dissemination of warning information in real-time, so that people can more quickly take self-rescue actions. The integration of Telegram in the earthquake early warning system is expected to increase the effectiveness of information dissemination and can be a faster and more efficient solution in dealing with earthquake disasters in Indonesi
