    Rancang Bangun Pencacah Sampah Organik Otomatis

    Sampah organik merupakan sampah dedaunan, sisa – sisa makanan, kotoran binatang dan lain – lain. produksi sampah ini tidak dapat dihentikan dan bahkan menjadi sampah yang tidak berguna. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya pengelolaan sampah dengan baik. Masalah ini dapat diatasi dengan mengubah sampah menjadi kompos. Namun, hingga saat ini masih kurangnya pengelolaan sampah menjadi kompos. Untuk mempercepat proses pengelolahan sampah sebaiknya dimulai dari rumah dengan melakukan salah satu proses pengomposan yaitu mencacah sampah. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang pencacah sampah organik secara otomatis dengan dilengkapi notifikasi kondisi hasil cacahan penuh pada aplikasi telegram. Sehubung dengan itu, kegiatan ini diawali dengan perancangan pada komponen perangkat keras, perangkat lunak lalu pengujian. Alat yang dirancang dengan sensor ultrasonik digunakan sebagai sensor pendeteksi jarak ke sampah organik dan hasil cacahan sampah, relay sebagai pemicu pada motor universal yang mengubah energi listrik menjadi energi mekanik, motor servo sebagai penggerak alas tabung pencacah ke wadah dengan menggunakan arduino sebagai modul mikrokontolernya dan nodeMCU yang digunakan untuk mengirim sinyal notifikasi, dan LED sebagai indikator sampah penuh. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pencacah sampah organik telah dapat mencacah dengan baik dengan tingkat keakuratan sensor dan alat di atas rata – rata 95% dengan aplikasi telegram yang digunakan sebagai notifikasi jika hasil cacahan telah penuh

    PT PLN (Persero) is an electricity company in Indonesia which supports the development and industrial sectors. Process Business PLN starts from power plant, Transmission and distribution until Retail to Customers. For Supply the needed for customer in electricity power, PLN keep the reliability electricity network for fulfil it. The reliability of electric power distribution network depends on several factors, including the quality of materials, maintenance, operating patterns, protective equipment used and also network configuration. One of the ways to maintain electricity service is to carry out distribution transformer maintenance. After the maintenance is carried out, it is necessary to evaluate the distribution transformer maintenance activities that have been carried out, whether the maintenance activities have an impact or not on management, this is measured by the quality of the voltage and the rupiah per kWh that can be distributed and is denominated in rupiah. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the network and transformer maintenance has had an impact or not. One way that can be done statistically is through the ANOVA test. From the result, Minitab results obtained a value of 0.321 > α = 0.05 and the results of the autocorrelation do not show plots that are outside the lines or margins. This means that the maintenance activities of the 20 kV distribution transformers in data collection unit affect the company’s income. This means that maintenance activities affect the company's income. Therefore, the maintenance factor affects the company's income. Thus, it can be the main focus for improving distribution reliability by doing transformer 20 kV maintenance

    The drying methods currently used by farmers still rely heavily on direct solar power, so that the continuity of drying to reduce water content cannot be controlled properly, which has a direct impact on the low quantity and quality of drying results, as well as poor product hygiene. Utilization of condenser waste heat from cooling machines is one of the development applications for heat pump systems. The advantages of heat pumps for the drying process include their ability to control the temperature and humidity in the drying chamber, so that they can be adjusted for various drying conditions and the drying process is more efficient and environmentally friendly. This research aims to determine the performance of drying machines for agricultural commodities (cocoa beans) using the method of developing a domestic air conditioning machine, by adding a condenser arranged in series with the main condenser to function as a drying chamber. The results of the modification of this tool consist of five main parts, namely the compressor, tray dryer room (additional condenser), main condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator. Testing of this dryer was carried out with two types of experiments, namely experiments without load and experiments with load. The test was carried out at the maximum working time of the condenser by setting the lowest working evaporator, namely 16°C. The lower the working temperature of the evaporator, the higher the working temperature of condenser 1. This is done to get maximum work from this modified dryer. Based on tests for temperature and relative humidity (RH) under load and no-load conditions, the values are not too different. After approximately 2 hours of operation or when the machine was working in steady state, the highest temperature was obtained at 87°C while the highest average RH was obtained at 78% in the drying rack space. The performance of this agricultural commodity drying machine has functioned well, especially for cocoa beans which have been dried to a standard moisture content of 7.5% in accordance with SNI 2322-2008 for an operating time of 130 minutes. The dryer system by utilizing exhaust heat from the condenser in this domestic air conditioning machine can work well without reducing its main function as indicated by the maximum temperature value of 20oC around the evaporator.Â

    The limitation in energy provision has become quite a crucial issue. The oil reserves in Indonesia continue to decline, and a similar situation is occurring with coal reserves. Thus, a conventional and renewable energy source is needed that does not harm the environment, for example, solar energy. This research aims to harness solar energy that can still be converted into electrical energy, and it also aims to improve the power output of solar panels for better optimization. The research starts by planning the motor, battery capacity, and solar panel capacity. Field testing is conducted at Merdeka Field, Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic, and data is collected under two conditions: with the use of a sun tracker and without a sun tracker. The power output obtained from each solar panel is then calculated. Based on the research results, the testing using a sun tracker yielded a power output of 17,857 Watts with a horizontal position of 47° Northeast and a vertical position of 15° at 11:30 AM WITA (Central Indonesia Time). Meanwhile, during the testing without a sun tracker, it resulted in a power output of 16.2 Watts with a horizontal position of 0° North and a vertical position of 5° at 1:00 PM WITA, indicating an average increase of 43.03%

The editors have committed to providing scientific information for the readers, thus helping them understand the current development in the field. In the industrial context, English is a working language for building social interaction and communication with the stakeholders, such as managers, front officers, engineers, IT specialists, etc. Based on the central theme of this issue, “Demystifying the Specialized Language Teaching (ESP) and Digital Technologies in Vocational Higher Education,†we invite all the practitioners, experts, researchers, and scholars in the field of applied linguistics to contribute to the development of vocational English studies and help the vocational institutions provide ready-work alumni with excellent English language proficiency.     This corrigendum article focuses on enhancing the communicative competence of ESP learners using a wide range of tasks or activities. The target audience for this article is students enrolled in the Business Administration program at the State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang. By carefully designing activities based on each student’s level and the standards they must meet, we facilitated them to connect with their classmates in the classroom and improve their speaking ability. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate that students can improve their speaking skills by actively participating in the communicative activities that take place in the classroom. It was found that students were engaged in the activities and using the language when interacting with others in discussion sessions, group projects, and role-playing activities

    This study aimed to determine the effect of brand image and brand awareness on purchase decision Lazuna Chicken among students of Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang. The samples included 98 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis using IBM SPSS 26, with validity and reliability tests, and classic assumption test being employed. The hypothesis in this study is the associative hypothesis where the test used is multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f-test, and analysis of the coefficient of determination.The results of this study were: (1) brand image had a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions with a sig. 0.040 <0.05 and t-value 11.305 > 1.985. (2) brand awareness had a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions with a sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and t-value of 14.138 > 1.985. (3) brand image and brand awareness simultaneously had a positive and significant influence on purchase decision with a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05 and F-value 109.452 > 3.092 and R-Square 69.7%

    Jagung merupakan salah satu bahan pangan dengan trend permintaan yang terus meningkat tiap tahunnya secara nasional karena digunakan untuk pakan ternak, konsumsi masyarakat dan khususnya industri makanan di Indonesia. Hal tersebut mendorong pemerintah Indonesia untuk meningkatkan produksi jagung melalui berbagai program seperti penyediaan bibit, pupuk dan lainnya. Meningkatnya hasil tani jagung membuat banyak petani / pengepul berlomba-lomba untuk menjual jagungnya pada pihak gudang / industri. Namun demikian, seringkali menumpuk karena ditolak oleh pihak gudang perusahaan / industri karena memiliki kualitas jagung yang kurang bagus. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan menyediakan Aplikasi Penentuan Kualitas Jagung Menggunakan Algoritma Convolutional Neural Network bagi para petani/pengepul sebelum dijual ke gudang/industri. Metode yang digunakan Algoritma Convolutional Neural Network dengan jumlah dataset sebanyak 1800 yang terbagi menjadi 1000 data training dan 800 data testing dengan menggunakan parameter Convolutional Layer 2, Epoch 10, dan Batch size 20 yang diuji menggunakan BlackBox, dan Kuesioner dengan menggunakan Metode TAM. Berdasarkan Hasil Pengujian Aplikasi Penetuan Kualitas Jagung menggunakan Algoritma Convolutional Neural Network menunjukkan hasil yang baik dengan nilai akurasi testing sebesar 98%. Sedangkan untuk output dari penelitian ini berupa sebuah aplikasi android yang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan kualitas jagung berdasarkan gambar yang diinputkan oleh user atau penggun

    Commisioning Test of 3 x 3kW Solar Power Plants for Laboratory Purpose

    A laboratory is an important part in the learning and teaching process, therefore, it is necessary to improve both in terms of equipment and laboratory management standards. State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang has carried out the design process for a solar power plant (SPP) system with a capacity of 3 x 3 kW to support the learning process related to alternative and renewable energy lectures and practicum. One part of the procedure for activating newly installed laboratory equipment is the commissioning test. From the commissioning results, the results show that 3 x 300 Wp and independent 375 Wp SPP can work well with an average DC voltage rating of 80 V and for AC loads with an average voltage of 220 V. All types of loads, both AC and DC can work properly after going through the DC Couple and AC Couple with the inverter
