    Analisis Sudut Mata Potong Utama Pahat HSS dan Kedalaman Pemakanan Terhadap Kesilindrisan Baja ST 60 Pada Proses Bubut Memanjang

    This study aims to analyze the main cutting edge angle of HSS (high speed steel) chisel and the depth of cut on the cylindricity of ST 60 steel workpiece in the longitudinal turning process. The material used is ST 60 steel with a specimen length of 200 mm and a diameter of 30 mm and turned along 200 mm using variations of the main cutting edge angle, Kr (30, 45, 60, 90o) and the depth of cut, a (0.5; 1; 1.5; 2.0 mm) and other variables are set at constant conditions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the variation of the SS chisel cutting angle in the turning process produces an average total cylindricity value at a cutting angle of Kr 30o = 0.95 mm, Kr: 45o = 0.65 mm, Kr: 60o = 0.45 mm in other words, it can be concluded that the optimal cylindricity value occurs at a cutting angle of 90o = 0.15 mm. While the average cylindricity value at a cutting depth of a: 0.5 mm = 0.25 mm, a: 1 mm = 0.35 mm, a: 1.5 mm = 0.55 mm, a: 2.0 = 0.60 in other words that the optimal total cylindricity value is obtained at a cutting depth of 0.5 mm.This study aims to analyze the angle of the main cutting edge of HSS (high speed steel) tool and the depth of feeding on the sildrity of ST 60 steel workpieces in the longitudinal lathe process. The material used is ST 60 steel with a specimen length of 200 mm and a diameter of 30 mm and is lathe along 200 mm using variations in the main cutting angle angle, Kr (30, 45, 60o, 90o) and feeding depth, a (0.5; 1; 1.5; 2.0 mm) and other variables are set at fixed conditions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the variation in the angle of the SS tool cutting edge in the turning process produces the average value of total silidality at the cutting angle Kr 30o = 0.95 mm, Kr : 45o = 0.65 mm, Kr : 60o = 0.45 mm in words it can be concluded that the optimal silidality value occurs at the cutting angle of 90o = 0.15 mm. While the average siliency value at the feeding depth was a: 0.5 mm = 0.25 mm, a : 1 mm = 0.35 mm, a : 1.5 mm = 0.55 mm, a : 2.0 = 0.60 in other words that the optimal total sensitivity value was obtained at the feeding depth of 0.5 mm

    Lembanna in Gowa Regency sits at the foot of Mount Bawakaraeng and has strong tourism potential. It offers striking panoramas with popular sites such as the Hikers’ Village, waterfalls, and pine forests. The daily flow of residents and hundreds of visitors has stimulated the growth of local MSMEs. The situation also carries risks: each year records show missing visitors, accidents, and fatalities especially among hikers largely due to weak safety systems. Contributing factors include a small population, dispersed settlements, and a wide coverage area, creating a need for real-time remote monitoring. To meet this need, CCTV units integrated with a mobile application were installed and operators received training so security personnel can monitor areas jointly and effectively. The program aims to enhance public safety while reinforcing tourism development in Lembanna. CCTV has been installed at three critical locations. Its deployment has proven useful for improving environmental security, particularly for remote oversight of the Hikers’ Village tourist area. The system is also efficient in power consumption and maintenance costs. In the future, it is expected to remain in long-term use and be expanded with intelligent features, such as detecting suspicious movement, potential fires, littering, and enabling data- driven reporting

    Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Lempangang is a junior high school located in Panciro village, Bajeng sub- district, Gowa district. The school accommodates 258 students consisting of 150 male students and 108 female students. The number of students is not proportional to the sanitation facilities in the form of student toilets where there are only 3 toilets with 1 for teachers and staff, 1 for male students, and 1 for female students. The condition of the two student toilets is not feasible in capacity and does not meet hygienic standards. The male toilet in the worst condition compared to the female toilet. There is some damage to the walls, roof, floor only in the form of cement floor, and no toilet door, makeshift lighting, no squat toilet and only toilet for urinating, and no clean water installation facilities. The JTS PNUP service team aims to renovate the male students' toilet to make it decent and hygienic by repairing all existing damage. The results of this service are adding a layer of tiles on the walls, layer of tiles on the floor, installing lighting installations in the toilet, making water pipe network installations, sewage installations, installing squat toilets, and sewers connected to septic tanks.     The Uwais Al Qarni Mosque is located at the Batara Ugi non-block housing complex, Sudiang Raya Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City. Founded in 2019 by the Uwais Al Qarni Foundation, as a means of worship and religious activities for Muslims. The current condition of the building is still in the reconstruction stage for the completion of the stages that will be carried out (February 2024). One of the obstacles is the lack of street lighting at the gates along the mosque corridor at night, which gives the congregation a sense of security when carrying out worship activities at night. By looking at the conditions and discussing with the mosque management, it was concluded that this mosque requires the installation of lighting at the gates and hallways for night lighting. Through this PKM activity, a solution was provided, namely the installation of DC supply street lighting at the gate and along the mosque road which is safe and reliable in accordance with PUIL 2020, so that it can guarantee the safety of human souls and provide comfort to the community during worship/other religious activities, which are carried out on the mosque. This light operates from 18.00 to 06.00 and does not interfere with PLN power outages. This PKM output benefits mosque congregations and the people who pass along the road.     Residents of Bumi Salam Sejahtera 2 (BSS 2) Moncongloe Bulu Village, use their empty land to plant cassava. Currently, residents process cassava into fried cassava, cassava chips and other cassava preparations. Food process produces waste in the form of cassava peel cause a bad smell, build up rubbish and pollute the environment. Meanwhile, the need for sugar in Indonesia continues to increase every year, which results in sugar imports, so that alternative non-cane sweeteners are needed as raw materials for making sugar. Cassava skin has a high carbohydrate content so can be processed into raw materials for glucose production. Glucose is a material containing polysaccharides obtained from starch. The starch can be broken down by the amylase enzyme into sugar. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to increase the selling value of cassava peel, as solution to overcome environmental pollution, and increase residents' income. The target achieved is the formation of economically independent community groups through entrepreneurial activities that utilize cassava peels into liquid sugar that is ready to be sold or consumed daily. The output target of this PKM is scientific articles published nationally, so that they can provide benefits to the wider community.     Sidomukti Village, located in Bone-Bone Sub-district, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, hosts a BUMDes named BUMDes Merdeka Jaya. However, BUMDes Merdeka Jaya has not fully utilized the village's natural resources due to the limited capacity of its human resources in managing the organization, both operationally and managerially. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) is introduced as a solution to these issues. This PKM aims to motivate partners to enhance BUMDes performance by leveraging Sidomukti Village's natural resources and the human resources of BUMDes Merdeka Jaya. The program includes socialization of BUMDes, training in BUMDes business management and development, preparation of financial reports, and information systems, followed by supervision and mentoring. Methods used were interviews, lectures, Q&A sessions, exercises, focused group discussions, and ongoing supervision and mentoring. The activity, attended by 21 participants, resulted in the development of nine business types: Sewing Business, Fertilizer Distribution, Superior Rice Seeds Procurement, MSME Corner facilities and infrastructure, Gas Cylinder Base, Catering, Savings and Loan, Warkop, and Kampung Chicken Farm.     The Daarul Ihsan Salenrang Islamic boarding school is located in Salenrang Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, approximately 47.2 km from Makassar City. The boarding school partners face a primary challenge: the capacity of the existing dormitory does not match the number of male and female students. To address this issue, they plan to construct a special dormitory for students on a plot of land measuring 18m x 21m, located 100 meters from the current site. Construction began in early 2023 but has not yet been completed, including the septic tank, due to limited funding. The aimed of this activity is to design the dimensions and build a concrete septic tank at the Daarul Ihsan male dormitory. The implementation method included designing the septic tank dimensions, measuring, and digging. Subsequently, materials were procured with a volume ratio of 1 cement: 2 sand: 3 gravel. The following processes included mixing, pouring concrete, compacting, curing the concrete, and finishing. The result of this community service project was a concrete septic tank with dimensions of 3200 mm in length, 1600 mm in width, and 1700 mm in depth.     SDN 79 Mambue, located in Dusun Mambue, Nisombalia Village, Marusu District, Maros Regency, is an educational institution established on December 31, 1980. Over the years, the school faced issues with unplastered and unpainted walls, affecting not only the aesthetics but also the comfort and durability of the building. To address this issue, a program was implemented to plaster and paint the school walls. The objectives of the program include: (a) improving the exterior and interior appearance of the school to make it more appealing and representative, (b) protecting the walls from damage caused by water, UV rays, mold, dust, and dirt, and (c) enhancing the comfort of students and teachers during the teaching and learning process. With the final result being well-finished walls and a more pleasant environment, the program aims to create a more conducive learning atmosphere. The program is planned to last for eight months with a total budget of Rp 10,000,000, and it is expected to bring positive changes to SDN 79 Mambue.     This measurement system aims to contain information about the moisture content and sugar content contained in palm sugar with an accuracy above 90%. This measurement system is designed to measure the parameters of water content and sugar content in the palm sugar industry in general and the local palm sugar industry located in the Prima Griya Panakukang Block A/6 Complex, Antang, Makassar. The method used is experimental method, the measurement system made is tested by comparing laboratory test results with measurement results using the same sample. The measurement system made can contain information about water content and sugar content which is integrated into one measurement tool. Based on the test results, the measurement system made has an accuracy above 90%, namely 99.98% for water content and 99.87% for sugar content without going through complicated procedures, making it easier for users to use this tool.     PENERAPAN MACHINE LEARNING UNTUK MEMANTAU KERUSAKAN KONTAINER PADA GATE TERMINAL PETIKEMAS MAKASSAR NEW PORT

    This research was conducted to design and develop a system capable of automatically monitoring and determining roof damage on containers before they enter the container yard. The monitoring is carried out at the gate area by applying a Machine Learning method, namely You Only Look Once (YOLO). Three types of damage are being monitored: rust, holes, and dents. Human error, extreme weather conditions, or collisions with other objects usually cause this damage. The results of the study show that YOLO in monitoring and identifying container damage achieved an 88.8% detection accuracy in the morning with a detection process duration of 31.5 seconds, a 90.9% detection accuracy during the day with a detection process duration of 31.1 seconds, an 87.7% detection accuracy in the afternoon with a detection process duration of 32.6 seconds, and an 83.6% detection accuracy at night with a detection process duration of 33.2 seconds. The low detection accuracy at night, which is only 83.6% is caused by less than optimal lighting, in contrast to daytime lighting. The real- time monitoring system functions quite well, as it can provide documentation evidence and continuously notify the gate inspector regarding the physical condition of the container roof.
