    Sharia Financial Literacy and the Concept of Sharia Economics Curriculum Development

    This research aims to analyse the level of economic literacy and Islamic finance as well as formulate concepts for sharia economics curriculum development. The research method uses a quantitative approach. A quantitative approach through questionnaires to measure the level of sharia financial literacy and obtain an overview of curriculum development models in schools. This research measures the Sharia Financial Literacy Level of High School Students and Teachers in Kudus Regency with sample data of 17 teachers and 152 students from five state high schools in Kudus Regency. From the analysis results, the financial literacy level of students and teachers falls into the sufficiently literate category. However, in terms of sharia insurance literacy, it is in the less literate category. Meanwhile, curriculum development provides an overview of development models with several approaches. The first approach is through socialisation and education; the second approach is by including Islamic economics subjects into the curriculum content structure, especially the Social Sciences department; the third approach is the application of contextual learning, namely students learn in theory and also in real practice in Islamic financial institutions; and the fourth approach is teaching Islamic accounting at school

    A Quad-Helix Collaboration in Anticipating the Future-Oriented Skills for Business English Professionals

    This review paper explores the role of quad-helix collaboration—comprising government, industry, academia, and media practitioners—in anticipating the future-oriented skills required by business English professionals. As the global business landscape continues to evolve, the demand for new skills in communication, digital literacy, cross-cultural competence, and data-driven decision-making is increasing. This paper examines how each sector within the quad-helix model contributes to identifying and fostering these skills. Government bodies provide policy frameworks and funding for skill development, while industries highlight the practical needs of the workforce. Academia is instrumental in research and curriculum design, and media practitioners reflect societal demands and trends that influence professional competencies. By synthesizing insights from these four sectors, the paper identifies emerging trends in Business English education and professional practice. The review emphasizes the need for a collaborative approach to skill development, proposing that a well-integrated quad-helix framework can effectively prepare business English professionals for future challenges. Additionally, it discusses the implications for curriculum design, professional development, and collaborative educational models, providing recommendations for stakeholders to bridge the gap between current training and future requirements. The paper concludes by suggesting future research directions to further explore the intersection of business English, skill development, and intersectoral collaboration

    LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR THE MAIN POWER HOUSE BUILDING SULTAN HASANUDDIN AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

    Lightning, often called lightning, is a natural phenomenon that is common during the rainy season. Lightning appears as a flash of bright light followed by a rumbling sound called thunder. This phenomenon occurs due to the potential difference between clouds and the earth or between clouds, with negative charges in clouds being released towards the earth to achieve equilibrium. This process creates lightning and lightning sounds. This phenomenon is more common in the rainy season because of the high moisture content in the air which lowers the insulation power, making it easier for electric current to flow. The danger of lightning can cause damage to buildings, and power grids, and fatalities. This research was conducted at PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk., at the Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Development Project, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The research procedure begins by asking permission from the company's management, followed by data collection from the Production, Engineering, and QC teams. Data collection is carried out through literature studies, field observations, interviews with related teams, and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed to determine the lightning protection system and earth resistance measurement at the Main Power House Building. The calculation includes the density of the lightning strike, the area of the protection area, and the frequency of the strike. The determination of the need for a protection system is carried out based on the results of the calculation, and if necessary, the protection efficiency will be calculated using the rolling ball method.   From the calculation results, the minimum protection value in the rolling ball method is 9.7 meters with a maximum protection of 20 meters. In the results of the measurement of the grounding resistance for lightning rods, the following results were obtained (1.42 Ohms; 0.92 Ohms; 0.15 Ohms; 1.61 Ohms). The result does not exceed the limit of 5 Ohms

    Estimate Equivalent Circuit Internal Resistance Battery LiFePO4

    This research investigates the internal resistance and capacitance characteristics of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries utilizing an equivalent circuit model based on resistor-capacitor (RC) networks.  The growing integration of batteries in diverse applications, including electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, necessitates robust battery health monitoring strategies.  This work employs current and voltage data acquired during battery discharge, subsequently analyzed using MATLAB 2023b software to determine the pertinent RC parameters.  A third-order Equivalent Circuit Model (ECM) of RC, comprising three RC pairs, is implemented to enhance the precision of parameter estimation.  The results demonstrate a strong correlation between the number of RC pairs and the accuracy of dynamic battery response representation.  A higher-order model generally yields more precise estimations of battery performance.  However, increasing model complexity can lead to overfitting, potentially diminishing the model's ability to accurately reflect actual battery behavior.  This study contributes significantly to the understanding of LiFePO4 battery internal characteristic modeling and underscores the importance of balancing model fidelity with computational complexity

    Sungai Bila di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang Sulawesi Selatan, merupakan salah satu sungai yang secara periodik mengalami luapan, menyebabkan banjir yang berdampak signifikan bagi masyarakat di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis debit banjir Sungai Bila serta mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem pengendalian banjir yang telah diterapkan. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis hidrologi dengan bantuan perangkat lunak HEC-HMS dan simulasi hidrolika 2D menggunakan HEC-RAS. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa debit banjir kala ulang 20 tahun (Q20) mencapai 1.518,10 m³/detik dan menyebabkan genangan di sembilan desa/kelurahan dengan luas total 966,80 hektar. Berdasarkan skenario penanganan jangka pendek hingga panjang, dilakukan analisis efektivitas penambahan tanggul, pembangunan pintu air pada anak sungai, dan kolam retensi. Hasilnya menunjukkan potensi reduksi luas genangan hingga 829,26 hektar. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar penting dalam strategi mitigasi banjir Sungai Bila secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan

    The main problem faced by the partners, namely UPTD SDN 37 and UPTD SDN 15 Parepare, lies in the library management system, which is still operated manually. This condition creates various obstacles, such as slow book and borrower data searches, difficulties in generating reports, potential data loss, and inaccuracies in collection administration. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to improve the efficiency and quality of library services through the development and implementation of a database system using Microsoft Access. The resulting system is able to support the processes of recording collections, members, borrowing and returning transactions, as well as reporting in a faster, more accurate, and organized manner. The activity methods include several stages:1) Field surveys to obtain the necessary information for system development; 2) Database system design; 3) Meetings with partners via Zoom during the system development process;4) Simulation and system testing with partners via Zoom;5) Visits to the partners’ location for system handover and usage assistance;6) System implementation on school library computers; 7) Monitoring and evaluation of system usage. The outcomes include the availability of a Microsoft Access–based library application that has been handed over and socialized to partner schools, improved skills of library staff in digital data management, as well as supporting outputs in the form of a scientific article, copyright, activity video, and final report. With this innovation, school libraries are expected to play a more optimal role in supporting the teaching and learning process

    Cahaya Laundry is a home-based business located in Gowa Regency with significant market potential, as it is situated in a densely populated area near office districts. However, the business faces substantial challenges in the clothes drying process, especially when production volume increases. During the rainy season, laundry volume can rise by up to 50% because customers have difficulty drying clothes at home. In such situations, the management is forced to dry clothes under sunlight when the available electric dryers are insufficient, which is unhygienic and highly dependent on weather conditions. The use of electric dryers is also limited, requiring 2,200 watts of power and resulting in high operational costs. To address these issues, this community service activity aims to design and implement a hybrid clothes dryer system that combines electricity and gas. The hybrid technology is expected to improve energy efficiency, increase service capacity, and meet the operational needs of the business. Targeted outputs include the development of a fully functional hybrid dryer unit, enhanced operational efficiency and service capacity, as well as documentation and publication of results. The implementation of this technology is expected to provide a practical, energy-efficient solution while contributing to the development of sustainable drying technologies for home-based laundry businesses

    ANALISIS PENCARIAN TEKS EMOSI DALAM TWEET BERBAHASA INDONESIA MENGGUNAKAN TF-IDF DAN COSINE SIMILARITY

    Social media platforms such as Twitter present a wide range of emotional expressions from users in short and informal texts, which pose significant challenges for automated analysis. This study develops a search system for Indonesian-language tweets that identifies user emotions based on semantic similarity to a given text query. The method employs Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) for feature weighting and Cosine Similarity to measure textual similarity. Preprocessing stages including normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming are applied to enhance text representation accuracy. The system is tested using emotion-based queries and returns relevant tweets with high semantic match scores. Experimental results show that 50% of the top retrieved tweets match the expected emotional context. This approach proves effective in detecting emotions in short texts and offers potential for further development in sentiment-driven opinion analysis and emotion-aware recommendation system

    Kaji Eksperimen Pengaruh Kuat Medan Magnet Terhadap Efisiensi Produksi Gas Oxyhidrogen (HHO) Pada Generator HHO Tipe Kering

    Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh medan magnet pada produksi gas HHO dan untuk menentukan efek dari variasi jumlah kutub dan kekuatan medan magnet pada efisiensi generator HHO tipe sel kering. Metode eksperimen diadopsi untuk mengevaluasi kinerja generator HHO tipe kering dalam memproduksi gas HHO. Variabel yang dimanipulasi meliputi kekuatan medan magnet, jumlah kutub, konsentrasi larutan elektrolit (NaOH dan KOH), dan variasi arus input. Sumber daya DC untuk proses elektrolisis berasal dari panel fotovoltaik (PV). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kekuatan medan magnet 0,3 Tesla dengan 3 kutub, konsentrasi larutan NaOH 7,7%, dan arus 7 A menghasilkan efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 84,61%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi parameter ini dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja generator HHO tipe sel kering.  Kata Kunci: Gas HHO, Generator HHO Tipe Kering, Medan Magnet   Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh medan magnet terhadap produksi gas HHO dan bagaimana efek jumlah kutub dan kuat medan magnet yang bervariasi terhadap tingkat efisiensi suatu Generator HHO Tipe Kering. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode eksperimental untuk menyalakan generator HHO tipe kering dalam menghasilkan gas HHO. Variabel yang dimanipulasi meliputi kekuatan medan magnet, jumlah kutub magnet, konsentrasi larutan elektrolit (NaOH dan KOH), serta variasi arus input. Sumber energi listrik DC untuk proses elektrolisis berasal dari panel photovolataic (PV). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi antara kuat medan magnet 0,3 Tesla dengan 3 buah kutub magnet, konsentrasi larutan NaOH 7,7%, dan arus 7 A menghasilkan efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 84,61%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa optimasi parameter-parameter tersebut dapat meningkatkan kinerja generator HHO tipe kering secara signifikan.     Pengaruh Pengetahuan Kewirausahaan dan Ekspektasi Pendapatan terhadap Minat Berwirausaha pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi dan Administrasi Niaga Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang

    This research aimed to examine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge and income expectations on entrepreneurship intention among students in the Department of Accounting & Business Administration at State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang. The population of this research consisted of 468 respondents selected. The sample consisted of 267 students from the Department of Accounting and Business Administration who had taken entrepreneurship courses used purposive sampling and stratified random sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis included instrument validation, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The data were analyzed used SPSS version 25 software. The results of this research indicate that 1) the perception of students regarding the entrepreneurial knowledge for entrepreneurship was highly favorable, 2) the perception of students regarding income expectations in entrepreneurship was notably high, 3) the perception of students regarding entrepreneurship intention was highly interested, 4) entrepreneurial knowledge had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship intention among students, 5) income expectations had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship intention among students, 6) entrepreneurial knowledge and income expectations had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship intention among students. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of this research was 0.581. This means that the variables of entrepreneurial knowledge and income expectations contribute 58.1% to entrepreneurship intention, while the remaining 41.9% was explained by other variables outside of this research
