Get PDFOn the basis of the global use of the FAM installations and systems, their location, type and height, a lightning protection system is required, which protects humans and machines from danger of a lightning. At the beginning the development, the threat and the potential for destruction of lightning are described. Besides the resulting solid normative calculation models and tables are presented. Then, the product portfolio of the FAM is characterized. From this demonstration models are selected; on the one hand a model for the totality of all portable devices and the other hand a model which defines the power plants. Subsequently, the risk management and a strengths and weaknesses analysis are performed. After that, with graphical and mathematical models, these weaknesses as well as the functional equipotential bonding and grounding system and its dimensioning are investigated and solutions are demonstrated. The following is a coordination of lightning protection standard with other directives and standards in order to classify the resulting internal lightning protection and protective measures against electromagnetic pulse and to generate a uniform protection and application platform. Furthermore, problems of the economy of protective circuit is shown and a solution is given. Finally, the indicated possible solutions are replaced by definitions. The main classification and structure of lightning protection directive are shown and exemplarily applied

No full textThema dieser Bachelorarbeit ist im Wesentlichen die Untersuchung des vorhandenen und neu zu projektierenden Hauptstromversorgungssystems einschließlich der zugehörigen Notstrom- bzw. Ersatzstrom- oder auch Sicherheitsstromversorgung in einem bestehenden ca. 40 Jahre alten Gebäudekomplex zu dem unter anderem ein Hochhaus gehört. Hochhäuser gelten in der Regel als sogenannter Sonderbau; an diese werden u.a. auf Grundlage unterschiedlicher Vorschriften und Richtlinien besondere Anforderungen gestellt, die im Rahmen dieser Arbeit noch näher behandelt werden.Insbesondere die elektrotechnischen Anlagen unterliegen bei Sonderbauten bestimmten Anforderungen, die über das sogenannte „normale Maß“ hinausgehen. Hier seien an erster Stelle die Anforderungen an die Sicherheitsstromversorgung genannt. Die Sicherheitsstromversorgung dient im Gefahrenfall, insbesondere im Brandfall, dem Weiterbetrieb bestimmter Anlagen, die zum Schutz der im Gebäude befindlichen Personen dienen, wie zum Beispiel Feuerwehraufzügen, Druckerhöhungsanlagen und weiterer technischer Anlagen.In der Regel werden zur Bereitstellung der Sicherheitsstromversorgung Ersatzstromaggregate (Notstromaggregate) verwendet. Bei der Projektierung von Ersatzstromaggregaten sind neben den elektrischen Parametern auch Aspekte wie Lärmentwicklung, Abgasführung sowie Zu- und Abluft zu beachten

Implementation of Reed-Solomon RS (255,239) Code
Get PDFIn this paper the construction of Reed-Solomon RS(255,239) codeword is described and the process of coding and decoding a message is simulated and verified. RS(255,239), or its shortened version RS(224,208) is used as a coding technique in Low-Power Single Carrier (LPSC) physical layer, as described in IEEE 802.11ad standard. The encoder takes 239 8-bit information symbols, adds 16 parity symbols and constructs 255-byte codeword to be transmitted through wireless communication channel. RS(255,239) codeword is defined over Galois Field GF and is used for correcting upto 8 symbol errors. RS(255,239) code construction is fully implemented and Simulink test project is constructed for testing and analyzing purposes
