Implementasi Hot Work Permit System sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Kecelakaan Kerja
The Hot Work Permit System is a written permission system for doing work that generates a heat source. The aims of this research is to determine the correlation between knowledge, working period, and attitude of workers with the implementation of hot work permit system at the Department of Mechanichal White Paper at PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk Serang year 2017. The research is cross sectional. The population of this study is all employees at the Department of Mechanichal White Paper which amounted to 50 people. The sample of this study is the total population. Primary data collection using questionnaires with interview techniques. Univariate results showed that 58.0% of workers had high implementation, 66.0% had high knowledge, 74.0% had a working life of ≥ 10 years, and 64.0% had a positive attitude. The result of statistical test shows that there is relation between worker knowledge (Pv: 0,008) and attitude (Pv: 0,000) with hot work permit system implementation. Suggestion to the company to improve the implementation of safety culture about the implementation of hot work permit system, implement training program for welder, and implement socialization system to the workers regarding standard operational procedure (SOP) worker attitude.Hot Work Permit System adalah sistem ijin tertulis untuk melakukan pekerjaan yang menghasilkan sumber panas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, masa kerja, dan sikap pekerja dengan implementasi hot work permit system pada Departemen Mechanichal White Paper di PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk Serang Tahun 2017. Penelitian bersifat cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada Departemen Mechanichal White Paper yang berjumlah 50 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh total populasi. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik wawancara. Hasil univariat menunjukan bahwa 58,0% pekerja memiliki implementasi tinggi, 66,0% pekerja memiliki pengetahuan tinggi, sebanyak 74,0% memiliki masa kerja ≥ 10 tahun, dan 64,0% pekerja memiliki sikap positif. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan pekerja (Pv : 0,008) dan sikap (Pv : 0,000) dengan implementasi hot work permit system. Saran kepada perusahaan untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan budaya safety mengenai penerapan hot work permit system, melaksanakan program training untuk pekerja pengelasan, dan melaksanakan sistem sosialisasi pada pekerja mengenai standar operasional prosedur (SOP) sikap kerja
The Effectiveness of High Fidelity Simulation Towards Knowledge and Skills in Health Education: Literature Review
High Fidelity Simulation (HFS) has been recently deemed an effective approach to resemble the real clinical situation so that the improvement of knowledge and skill of student are much more significant. However, there has been much debate in recent times whether this method is much more effective than conventional simulation. This literature review aimed to present the evidence supporting of the effectiveness of HFS especially in enhancing knowledge and skill of health care student. Search terms including “high fidelity simulation”, “knowledge” and “skill” were processed into CINAHL, PubMed and Bristish Nursing Index. All papers that published after 2005 and primary research were included. There were totally 9 papers included in this review, as a result of back chaining method involved in searching strategy. This review suggests that HFS is able to improve skill and knowledge of student effectively
Hubungan Stres Kerja Fisiologis, Stres Kerja Psikologis dan Stres Kerja Perilaku Dengan Kinerja Karyawan
Employee performance is the result of work achieved by a person or group of people in accordance with the authority or responsibility of each employee during a certain period. Job stress as an adjustment response is mediated by individual differences and psychological processes which are a consequence of any action from outside (environment) of work, a situation that assigns excessive psychological or physical demand to someone. Based on the preliminary study, there were 11 performance reduction data (73%) of them experienced inaccurate work, completed work on time, delays in work, and always violated company rules. This study aims to determine the relationship between job stress both in physiological, psychological and behavioral to employee performance. The subject of research is the worker of production area of PT. Unggul Cipta Serang Technology at 2018 conducted from April to July, this study using Cross-sectional design with a sample size of 60 respondents, the measuring tool used is a questionnaire. This research is tested using univariate test to observe the representation and bivariate (chi-square) to see the relationship. Based on bivariate test, there is a significant correlation between work stress, physiological stress and psychological work stress on employee performance with pv = 0,000, so if job stress, physiological or psychological stress is higher, the worse the worker performance and vice versa. While there is no significant relationship between work stress behavior with employee performance with value pv = 0,169. Therefore, it is important that corporate leaders need to make various efforts to minimize work stress both physiologically, psychologically and behaviorally among workers such as counseling, health clinics and safety sign in the work area.Kinerja karyawan adalah hasil kerja yang dicapai seseorang atau kelompok orang sesuai dengan wewenang atau tanggung jawab masing-masing karyawan selama periode tertentu. Stres kerja sebagai suatu tanggapan penyesuaian diperantarai oleh perbedaan-perbedaan individu dan proses psikologis yang merupakan suatu konsekuensi dari setiap tindakan dari luar (lingkungan) kerja, situasi yang menetapkan permintaan psikologis atau fisik berlebihan kepada seseorang. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan didapatkan data penurunan kinerja sebanyak 11 0rang (73%) diantaranya mengalami bekerja dengan tidak akurat, menyelesaikan pekerjaan tidak tepat waktu, keterlambatan dalam bekerja, dan selalu melanggar aturan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stres kerja baik secara fisiologis, psikologis dan perilaku terhadap kinerja karyawan. Subyek penelitian adalah pekerja area produksi PT. Unggul Cipta Teknologi Kabupaten Serang Tahun 2018 yang dilakukan mulai dari bulan April-Juli. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel 60 responden, alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Penelititian ini di uji mengguakan uji univariat untuk melihat gambaran dan bivariat (chi-square) untuk melihat hubungan. Berdasarkan uji bivariat terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara stres kerja, stres kerja fisiologis dan stres kerja psikologis terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai pv=0,000, maka apabila stres kerja, stres fisiologis atau psikologis tinggi maka semakin buruk kinerja pekerja dan sebaliknya. Sedangkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara stres kerja perilaku dengan kinerja karyawan dengan nilai pv= 0,169. Karena itu sebaiknya pemimpin perusahaan perlu melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meminimalisir stres kerja baik secara fisiologis, psikologis dan perilaku di kalangan pekerja seperti konseling, klinik kesehatan dan safety sign pada area kerja
