    Get PDF
One of the key factors for sustaining an organizational performance for any organization is maintaining loyalty and retention of skilled and experienced employees. Therefore, revealing positive and negative factors impacting employee loyalty and taking action for further improvement has been an essential aspect for organizations. The current paper aims at researching how employee satisfaction has an impact on employee loyalty as well as the organizational performance of the organization based on the case of the Mongolian banks. The sample survey involved 400 employees of three banks. The results of the survey demonstrated that employee loyalty can be maintained through increasing employee satisfaction. In the present study employee satisfaction is considered as the independent variable and as mediating factor that served employee loyalty, and organizational performance is taken as the dependent variable. Consequently, reliability tests, correlation, and regression analysis have been carried out to prove our hypothesis. The research results indicate that satisfied employees tend to be loyal and committed to the organization and contributed positively to the organizational performance

    Get PDF
Several recent studies started to relate religious beliefs and sustainable behavior. For this reason, there is a high possibility that students’ religious beliefs can be a strong impetus for practicing sustainability knowledge. The education for sustainable development (ESD) in universities should not be separated from the meaningful religious belief of university students. Therefore, we proposed the theocentric worldview which centered on a religion-spiritual relationship with God to be included as a part of ESD. This worldview is important in making ESD content meaningful for religious university students. In this paper, we used a religion-spiritual concept from Islamic teachings as an example of how a religious belief can be embedded within ESD for university students

The women in the village bind seaweed farming for the nursery. A job that men are reluctant to do, but the most important part of the production process. This paper discussed how Sebatik women play a crucial role in making seaweed cultivation a household business. It will be an essential input for the local government policy of developing a household business driven by housewives. The research method used was a qualitative description with an ethnographic approach to make participant observations and in-depth interviews are accurate in collecting data and field findings. The research found that Sebatik women had the prospect to be an entrepreneur. It\u27s just that Sebatik\u27s economic development does not necessarily increase women\u27s empowerment. Not many Sebatik women farmers think about selling seaweed as a processed product, which is more economically valuable and profitable. Education and community culture were the main causes, even though kinship and ethnic networks could function as economic capital. Sebatik woman farmers need government support in both policy regulation and practical assistance, especially in entrepreneurial training
