Regional Characteristics of Bar Events in Nara Prefecture
Get PDF日本において，人口減少に伴う都市の縮退は，今後の都市を維持していく上で喫緊の課題となっている。都市の縮退を考えていく上で中心市街地の活性化は大きな課題といえ，その方策の一つとして，バルイベントが注目されている。本稿では，バルイベントの地域的特性の把握および都市の規模とバルイベントの継続性の関係に着目し，奈良県の各市において開催されたバルイベントを研究対象として，都市の規模，開催の状況と継続性，ガイドマップの特徴等，それぞれの地域的特性を明らかにすることを目的とした。奈良県では，奈良市，生駒市，天理市，大和郡山市，橿原市，王寺町の5市1町でバルイベントの開催があったことを確認した。バルイベントは，地域によって多様化していることが明らかとなり，特に以下の2点は注目される。大和郡山市の郡山筒井バルは，他の5か所のバルイベントと比較して実施箇所と運営組織の点で大きく異なっている。運営方法の点でみると，橿原市の古代大和飛鳥バルは，広域でまちゼミを連動させ同時にかつ長期に開催していることが他の5か所と比較して大きく異なっている。departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFDescribed here is a practical research project to develop an experimental product that is designed to create emotional bonds and reify a characteristic "arnbiance" between the giver and recipient, and verify its effectiveness by interviewing test users. The project conception is composed of two parts. First is the transforming of a product (object) to utility (service) along an intended time axis. Included in a discussion are not only product design, but also the aspect of user experience designing.

Analysis of Hunting Behavior of Railway Vehicles Using the Roller Rig Model
Get PDFAn analysis of railway vehicle behavior was carried out using the roller rig model. In particular, this included checking for hunting. Changing the wheel tread gradient, some experiments were conducted, and a comparison was made with the hunting theoretical value. This was examined in order to optimize the wheel tread gradient. Responding to Price-cutting Initiated by Market Newcomers A simulated study of consumer choice and brand strength
Get PDFOften a newcomer to a market will initiate a price promotion. However, rival companies hesitate to enter into price-cutting, because they want to keep up profitability and the brand image. Here, the action taken by pre-existing companies against a newcomer is investigated, running a multi agent simulation. The behavior of the consumer agent in this simulation model is drawn from consumer behavior theory to increase the study’s level of reality and veridicality. It becomes evident from the results of a sensitivity analysis that a pre-existing company has no need to counter with its own price promotion campaign if consumer selection is based on brand and not on price.departmental bulletin pape
