Database for provenance determination of Roman-time stone products from Ig area
Rimskodobni kamniti izdelki najdeni na Ižanskem so bili pretežno izdelani iz mikritnega in peloidnega apnenca. Izvor teh izdelkov je bil do sedaj le ohlapno definiran, zlasti zaradi pomanjkanja podrobnih opisov mikrofaciesov, študije mikrofosilov in manjkajočih geokemičnih analiz iz do sedaj prepoznanih ali predlaganih območij rimskih kamnolomov. Podatkovna baza zapolnjuje to vrzel in nudi podroben vpogled v litološko in geokemično sestavo apnenca, ki izdanja pri Podutiku, Stajah, Igu, v Podpeči, Jezeru pri Podpeči, na hribu Sv. Ana in pri Ledenici v bližini Planince. Profili predstavljajo dele spodnjejurske Podbukovške formacije, natančneje člene E1 – plastnat mikritni in ooidni apnenec, E2 – fosiliferni apnenec, E3 – krinoidni apnenec, ki pripadajo Podbukovški formaciji in E4 – ooidni apnenec in dolomit, ki pripada Lazenski formaciji. Z namenom primerjave so bili z enakimi metodami proučeni tudi dostopni kamniti izdelki z Ižanskega. Uporabljena metodologija vključuje geološko kartiranje, detajlno sedimentološko profiliranje sedimentnih zaporedij in makroskopski pregled vzorcev, optično mikroskopijo za analizo litofaciesov, mikrofaciesov in bentoških foraminifer, katodoluminiscenčno analizo, analizo vrednosti izotopskega razmerja stroncija, vrednosti izotopskega razmerja stabilnih izotopov ogljika in kisika, določitev mineralne sestave in vsebnosti glavnih, stranskih ter slednih elementov.The stone products from the Roman-time found in the Ig area were mainly made from micritic and peloidal limestone. The provenance of these products has been only roughly defined so far, mainly due to the lack of detailed microfacies descriptions, study of microfossils and missing geochemical analyses from the previously identified or proposed areas of Roman quarries. This database fills this gap and provides a detailed insight into the lithological and geochemical composition of the limestone found in Podutik, Staje, Ig, Podpeč, Jezero near Podpeč, on the hill of St. Ana and at Ledenica near Planinca. The sedimentological logs represent parts of the Lower Jurassic Podbukovje Formation, specifically the members E1 – laminated micritic and oolitic limestone, E2 – fossiliferous limestone, E3 – crinoid limestone belonging to the Podbukovje Formation, and E4 – oolitic limestone and dolomite belonging to the Laze Formation. For purposes of comparison, accessible stone products from the Ig area were studied using the same methods. The applied methodology includes geological mapping, detailed sedimentological description of sediment sequences and macroscopic examination of samples, optical microscopy for the analysis of lithofacies, microfacies and benthic foraminifera, cathodoluminescence analysis, analysis of strontium isotope ratio values, stable carbon and oxygen isotope ratio values, determination of mineral composition and content of major, minor and trace elements

Corpus analysis of narrative style and linguistic norm in an older religious periodical
V prispevku je predstavljen postopek izdelave korpusa CVET, ki vsebuje besedila patra Hijacinta Repiča, objavljena v verski reviji Cvetje z vertov sv. Frančiška v obdobju 1881–1916. Korpus je uporabljen kot podlaga za jezikovno in stilistično analizo, opravljeno z orodjem noSketch Engine. Z analizo frekvenčnosti izbranih spremenljivk sta opisana besedišče patra Repiča in njegov pripovedni slog. Nazadnje je na primeru besed tipa bralec/bravec opazovan sinhrono-diahroni in normativni vidik starejšega slovenskega jezika besedil v korpusu.The article presents the process of creating the CVET corpus, which contains the texts of Father Hijacint Repič published in the religious journal Cvetje z vertov sv. Frančiška between 1881 and 1916. The corpus then serves as the basis for a linguistic and stylistic analysis, carried out with the noSketch Engine tool. Frequency analysis of selected variables is used to describe Father Repič’s vocabulary and narrative style. Finally, the synchronic-diachronic and norma-tive aspects of the older Slovenian language in the texts of the corpus are considered using the example of words of the type bralec/bravec
Measures for improving working conditions in platform work
Platformno delo je sodobna oblika nestandardnega organiziranega in plačanega dela, ki poteka preko digitalne platforme dela, ki organizira, vodi in nadzoruje delovni proces s pomočjo avtomatiziranih sistemov spremljanja in odločanja, tako imenovanega algoritemskega upravljanja. Platformno delo sodi na področje uporabe visokotveganih sistemov umetne inteligence (UI), prav tako so osebe, ki opravljajo platformno delo v bolj tveganem delovno in socialnopravnem položaju in zato lahko izpostavljene povečanemu tveganju za prekarnost. To sta tudi ključna izziva pri reguliranju ukrepov za izboljšanje delovnih pogojev pri platformnem delu.Platform work is a modern form of non-standard organised and paid work organised through a digital labour platform that organises, manages, and supervises the work process using automated monitoring and decision-making systems, in so-called algorithmic management. It falls within the scope of high-risk artificial intelligence (AI) systems and persons performing platform work are exposed to an increased risk of precariousness in the fields of labour and social law, as well. These are also the key challenges for regulating measures aimed at improving working conditions in platform work
