An Overview of Information Overload, System Feature Overload, Social Overload and Communication Overload
Get PDFSocial media has faced difficulties in recent years due to users ceasing to use them, but little is known about the relationships between the various aspects of overload and how this negatively impacts users' social media exhaustion. Additionally, it described social media overload as a multidimensional construct made up of four types of overloads: information overload, system feature overload, social overload and communication overload. This investigation will be conducted among Malaysian Facebook users through online surveying techniques along with a quantitative approach with the sample size of 74 using non-probability sampling approaches then will be analysed using the IBM SPSS
M Score Performance Measure for Islamic Banks in Malaysia and Indonesia
Get PDFPerformance measurement is vital to examine the performance of any institution. Due to the different nature of business operations, processes, and activities in Islamic banks, they have to be measured by a more focused instrument to reflect the Shariah compliance parts and their business nature compared to the conventional banks. Hence, M Score which has been developed by Abdul Rahim, Abdul Rahman and Syed AlHabshi (2016) has been adopted in this study. The findings from the computation will indicate which country gains the higher M Score in performance, and this can be used as a benchmarking exercise. This research aims to analyse and compare the M Score performance of Islamic banks in Malaysia and Indonesia. The content analysis via Annual Reports of Islamic banks has been used for this study. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research was conducted on Islamic banks in Malaysia and Indonesia over a period of two years, from 2020-2021. This comparative research is expected to be an evaluation tool for Malaysian Islamic banks, helping them improve their performance to catch up with their counterparts in Indonesia. Thus, the purpose of this research proposal is to analyse and compare the effect of the soundness of Islamic banks based on the M Score performance of Islamic banks in Malaysia and Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that Islamic banks in Indonesia have a higher M Score ranking than those in Malaysia. There are significant differences in the performance of Islamic banks based on the Need Fulfilment and Equitable Distribution (NFED), Economic Growth (EG), and Economic Stability (ES) in Malaysia and Indonesia

Yet, being internationally visible does not mean that the university is properly internationalised. A university requires capacity to harnessing the power of strategic partnership and attracting renowned intellectuals to attain the global status and international appeal. University leadership must foster a holistic ecosystem in addressing community issues in line with SDGs. An integrative analytical framework for the strategic leadership combining three different areas of research: job related competencies, interpersonal competencies, and personal competencies is proposed, juxtaposing two dimensions – value and uniqueness – revealing different forms of university’s leadership.  
Enhancing the Professional Caring Behaviour of Nurses: Module Development Protocol

This study protocol describes the development of a caring module by adopting the ADDIE instructional model to address identified gaps and promote caring behaviour among nurses. The module will be designed in three phases with mixed-method design and purposive sampling that includes nurses, care recipients, practitioners, and experts from comparable centres to ensure the content's relevance and effectiveness. By addressing obstacles to caring behaviour, the module has the potential to be an invaluable tool for nursing professionals' professional growth, contribute to positive patient outcomes, and promote high-quality care delivery
Unravelling the Impact of Visual Merchandising on Consumer Impulse Buying Behaviour in Hypermarket

To stand out, hypermarket retailers employ Visual Merchandising (VM) techniques, in collaboration with product manufacturers. This study, entrenched in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) model, explores how VM influences Consumer Impulse Buying Behaviour (CIBB) in Malaysian hypermarkets, considering the mediating role of Consumer Self-Control (CSC). Data from 265 respondents reveal significant impacts of VM elements like cleanliness, product packaging, and digital media on CIBB. This study emphasizes the importance of VM strategies, in collaborating the effort between retailers and manufacturers to enhance impulse buying in hypermarkets and engage in more VM contemporary practices
Assessing the Market Potential of Mamachef's Purply Ice Cream Made from Underutilized Local Crops in Malaysian Retail Markets

The data has been analyzed using Atlas.ti based on thematic analyses. This unique ice cream is like other commercial ice cream, with natural purple color, and free from food additives. Its flesh also acts as a fat replacer in the Mamachef Purply Ice Cream. The processing of Mamachef Purply Ice Cream would increase the economic aspects among small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) and farmers and has an excellent potential to be marketed commercial food outlets
Physiotherapy Management combined with Blood Flow Restriction: A single case study
Get PDFThe optimum long-term treatment for patellofemoral pain is uncertain, although current assessments and treatments emphasize physiological functioning and education above biological or tissue pathology. The 27-year-old man experienced patellofemoral pain for four years despite little physiotherapy management. Many doctors urged him to avoid excessive exertion, stopping him from enjoying sports. A month of 12 physiotherapy management and Blood Flow Restriction treatments reduced the patient's symptoms by 1%. This case study highlights the necessity for more significant research on patellofemoral pain workouts with physiotherapy and blood flow constraints
Spatial Clustering of Abandoned Buildings in Historic Environments in Bayındır, Turkey
Get PDFAbandonment is a major challenge in historical urban areas worldwide, including Turkey and other developing nations, despite strong historical context and legal safeguards. This analogy compares abandonment to cancer metastasis, emphasizing its pervasive and insidious nature. Like cancer, abandonment can spread, impacting neighboring structures and the broader urban fabric. This metaphor highlights the urgent need for a comprehensive analysis of abandonment's spatial characteristics in historic urban areas. A study in Bayindir, Turkey, using GIS, revealed a 20% abandonment rate within its protected urban area, with clusters of low and high abandonment identified. Mapping these clusters showed how they relate to land use types, offering insights for policymakers and planners to preserve and revitalize historically significant urban areas.
 
Content Validity of Digital Knowledge using CVI Method
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the content validity of Digital Knowledge for TESL pre-service teachers using Content Validity Index (CVI). Seven experts were selected via purposive sampling evaluated the content. Four professional university experts in multimedia learning, digital, and psychometrics, and three subject matter experts from Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia (ITEM) were consulted. The instruments involved 73 items with three main constructs. The result showed that the instrument has good content validity and suggests that Digital Knowledge has a great potential to be promoted as good instrument to measure TESL pre-service teachers’ perception of writing essay
Effect of Sucrose Amounts on the Bacterial Cellulose Membrane's Breathability Properties
Get PDFThis study aims to produce a bacteria cellulose (BC) membrane. The critical parameter controlled in this study was the amount of carbon source during the production. The effects of carbon source concentrations on BC membrane properties, such as yield, thickness, and breathability, were evaluated. The BCs' yields and thicknesses were increased with the higher concentration of sucrose utilised during the production process. By weighing and observing the BC membranes, sample BCS10.0 possessed the highest yield and thickness. Nonetheless, the lowest yield and thickness of BC membrane (1.374%, 0.07mm) produced a high mean pore diameter (16.909Å) and increased permeability of water vapour (4242.23g/m2/day)
