Gen Z Mannerisms: A comparative analysis of perceptions and attributions across generations

This study examines the generational shift in values and mannerisms among Generation Z (Gen Z) in Malaysia, focusing on concerns over declining respect and traditional social norms. Using a quantitative approach, it explores views of Gen Z, parents, and teachers regarding the impact of parenting styles, education, digital technology, and Western culture on Gen Z’s attitudes. Findings highlight the shared recognition of parenting and Western influence, while Gen Z also cites social media as a key factor. The study offers insights into generational differences and ways to promote understanding across age groups

Leveraging Agile Methodologies in Quantum High-Performance Computing for Advancing Healthcare Systems

This study explores the integration of Agile methodologies with quantum high-performance computing (HPC) in healthcare. It proposes an architecture that supports user-centred design, iterative development, and cross-functional teams. The approach enhances software for personalised medicine, real-time monitoring, and telemedicine by combining Agile practices with quantum HPC’s speed and accuracy. Wearable devices and sensors support continuous patient monitoring, while data analytics and machine learning improve outcomes. The integration aims to boost efficiency, access, and care quality, ensuring better security and privacy in healthcare systems

Sustainable Rural Development and Community Economics for Population Wellbeing in Malaysia

Social inequality between rural and urban communities will remain pronounced, as noted in the Millennium Development Goals Report 2015. The paper aims to showcase the findings from a qualitative study that examined the twelve approaches to sustaining rural development and community economics, a case study of Tanjung Karang, Selangor, Malaysia. The research underscores the need for continued investments in rural areas and the importance of tailoring development initiatives in capacity building towards population wellbeing. The study is significant in fulfilling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of No Poverty (SDG1), Zero Hunger (SDG2), and Good Health and Wellbeing (SDG3)

Harnessing Fuzzy Delphi: Designing the innovative DiD-Art application

This research aimed to develop an android-based drawing art application (DiD-Art). Using the Fuzzy Delphi Method, researchers surveyed 20 experts to evaluate seven constructs and 37 items for the application. The findings revealed expert agreement on all constructs and items, meeting the three Fuzzy conditions. The research resulted in a design framework for the DiD-Art application, which will serve as a teaching and learning material for Visual Art Education teachers. This study leverages digital technology to enhance accessibility and impact art education. Thus, future research could focus on implementing and evaluating the application’s effectiveness in real classroom setting

Sustainable Tourism Management Exploration in Merek District, Indonesia

Tourism in Indonesia contributes to the economic growth and well-being of local communities. However, ensuring tourism sustainability is a primary challenge. This study aims to explore the sustainable management framework within the context of tourism in Merek District, North Sumatra, which has tourism potential but is declining in visitors. The research applies a mixed-methods approach to evaluate three tourist destinations: Tongging, Sipiso-piso, and Sapo Juma. The evaluation results indicate that sustainable management in Merek District does not meet established standards and requirements. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of sustainable tourism management in promoting local economic growth and achieving sustainability

Public Awareness of Chronic Kidney Disease in Malaysia

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a growing public health issue in Malaysia, driven by diabetes, hypertension, and aging. Despite its high prevalence, public knowledge about CKD remains low, contributing to late diagnoses and poor management. A cross-sectional study of 1,391 individuals aged 17 and above from two Malaysian states found significant associations between CKD knowledge and demographics, lifestyle habits, medical history, family history, and participation in awareness programs. The mean knowledge score was 11.51 (±5.9). Enhancing public awareness through targeted education, particularly in high-risk populations, and promoting early detection and prevention are crucial for improving CKD outcomes

Application of Behavior Change Techniques (BCTs) based on the ADDIE Model in University Tennis

This study aimed to examine the application and effectiveness of BCTs based on the ADDIE model in college tennis instruction. An experimental approach was employed by integrating the ADDIE model with BCTs.An experimental group received instruction using the ADDIE-based BCTs teaching method, and a control group, which followed traditional teaching methods, was taught for 8 weeks. The results indicated that the experimental group demonstrated superior tennis skills versus the control group. The study concludes that incorporating BCTs based on the ADDIE model into college tennis instruction significantly improves students' tennis skills and enhances their interest in learning

Effects of Outdoor Space Design in Neighborhoods on Quality of Life

This study explores how perceptions and cognitive responses to neighborhood outdoor spaces influence leisure activities and emotional experiences, ultimately affecting QOL. Using survey data from 412 residents in Tainan, Taiwan, analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM), the study found that indirect effects mediated by leisure activities and emotional experiences amplify the impact of outdoor spaces on QOL. These findings offer insights for urban designers and policymakers to create spaces that enhance residents' well-being. By examining how specific environmental features affect daily experiences, this research contributes to a broader understanding of sustainable urban development

Enhancing Youth Resilience in Disaster Risk Reduction: Insights from a systematic literature review

This systematic literature review examined youth resilience in disaster risk reduction, addressing young people's heightened vulnerability to natural disasters. Following PRISMA guidelines, researchers analyzed peer-reviewed articles from 2021- January 2025, screening 1,657 studies and including 52 that met the criteria. Key findings identified five critical factors for building youth resilience: engagement and empowerment, mental and emotional health, education and capacity development, community and family support, and technology integration. The study emphasizes the need for targeted strategies and coordinated collaboration between youth and institutions. Future research should evaluate intervention sustainability and examine how cultural differences impact youth resilience outcomes in disaster-prone regions
