No full textNos convoca a la escritura la celebración de los setenta años de la Asociación Psicoanalítica del Uruguay (APU). Este acontecimiento tendrá, sin duda, junto con el clima festivo, sus momentos de reflexión y pausa, oportunidad para examinar la realidad de la institución y sus perspectivas, sobre la base de la memoria histórica. Como dice Korovsky (1985), los psicoanalistas somos, por vocación, revisionistas históricos. Para esa tarea, mejor que quien esto escribe, en su condición de amigo de APU, podrán sus propios integrantes valorar hoy la vitalidad de la empresa. No obstante, en las líneas que siguen intentaré ofrecer una perspectiva que ojalá complemente la de los principales protagonistas del acontecimiento.The celebration of the seventieth anniversary of the Uruguayan Psychoanalytic Association (APU) calls us to write. This event will undoubtedly include, along with its festive atmosphere, moments of reflection and pause, an opportunity to examine the reality of the institution and its prospects, based on historical memory. As Korovsky (1985) says, psychoanalysts are, by vocation, historical revisionists. For this task, its own members will be better able to assess the vitality of the enterprise today than the author, as a friend of APU. Nevertheless, in the following lines, I will attempt to offer a perspective that hopefully complements that of the event\u27s main protagonists

No full textEste escrito se propone comentar, vale decir, tanto recoger y valorar las ideas, como ponderar los procedimientos que despliega Silvana Hernández en su texto «La belleza de pensar».A este fin, se señalan y destacan algunas de las muchas ideas que contiene su trabajo, procurando identificar el propósito que anima a la autora, su finalidad, qué es lo que busca y el método que utiliza para conseguirlo.En este comentario se nombran algunas maneras de decir y de escuchar, y se avanzan algunas peculiaridades y notas de la actividad de pensar, de sus modalidades y de sus obstáculos.Pretende así sumarse a la convocatoria de Hernández a ampliar nuestra capacidad, tanto individual como grupal, de fertilizar el pensamiento.Se mencionan, asimismo, algunos requisitos retóricos y éticos para promover el intercambio comunicativo.Y llega al final haciendo una breve consideración de la belleza como epifanía.This paper aims to comment, that is to say, both gather and evaluate the ideas, as well as consider the procedures that Silvana Hernández employs in her text «La belleza de pensar».To this end, some of the many ideas contained in her work are pointed out and highlighted, seeking to identify the purpose that motivates the author, her aim, what she seeks and the method she uses to achieve it.This commentary mentions some ways of saying and listening, and advances some peculiarities and characteristics of the activity of thinking, its modalities and its obstacles.It thus seeks to join Hernandez´s call to expand our capacity, both individual and collectively, to cultivate thought.Some rhetorical and ethical requirements for promoting communicative exchange are also mentioned.And it concludes with a brief consideration of beauty as an epiphany

No full textEl objetivo de este artículo es discutir las transformaciones en la práctica del psicoanálisis vincular de parejas y familias que hantenido lugar en los últimos tiempos y que han sido estudiadas por un grupo de investigación formado por terapeutas que ejercemos en Brasil y Uruguay. Nos centraremos específicamente en el uso de la virtualidad y de fotos como mediadores. La investigación tiene abordaje cualitativo y puede ser calificada como exploratoria, ya que busca la ampliación inicial del conocimiento sobre un tema poco abordado que podría servir de referencia para futuras investigaciones.Partimos de una comprensión de la foto como objeto mediador facilitador de la palabra. Elegimos presentar una viñetade una sesión de terapia familiar en la modalidad virtual y con mediación de fotos. El uso de fotos resulta un objeto mediador que se adapta muy fácilmente a la virtualidad, a diferencia de otros objetos mediadores que son recursos posibles en sesiones familiares presenciales. Las fotos permiten el acceso a nuevas imagos que, junto con la pregunta o consigna de la sesión, conforman un encuadre contenedor y la creación de una nueva envoltura que permite la circulación de la palabra y de los afectos.The aim of this article is to discuss the transformations in the practice of couple and family psychoanalysis that have taken placein recent times and that have been studied by a research group formed by therapists that work in Brazil and Uruguay. We willfocus specifically on the use of virtuality and photos mediating objects.The research has a qualitative approach and can be described as exploratory, as it seeks to expand initial knowledge on a topicthat has been little addressed and that could serve as a reference for future research. We start from an understanding of the photoas a mediating object that facilitates speech. We chose to present a clinical vignette of a virtual, photo-mediated family therapy session. The use of photos proved to be a mediating object that adapts very easily to virtuality, unlike other possible resources in face-toface family sessions. The photos allow access to new images, which together with the question or proposition of the session, form a container setting and the creation of new psychic envelopes that allowed the circulation of words and affects.

Cartografías del dolor: Leer el cuerpo como geografía afectiva
Get PDFEste trabajo aborda el cuerpo como superficie de inscripción en adolescentes atravesados por traumas tempranos, a partir del caso clínico de Mary, de dieciocho años. Su historia, marcada por abuso sexual infantil, violencia familiar y desmentidas, deja un psiquismo fragmentado donde las autolesiones y los tatuajes emergen como modos de tramitar lo impensable.A la luz de desarrollos de Ferenczi, Laplanche, Smadja, Doctors, Catz y Bleichmar, se plantea que el recurso al cuerpo funciona como procedimiento autocalmante ante la imposibilidad de simbolizar el dolor. En este recorrido, los tatuajes pueden constituirse en marcas simbolizantes que intentan generar bordes yoicos y continuidad, en contraste con las autolesiones que expresan descargas impulsivas del sufrimiento.El caso permite pensar la transición del corte al tatuaje como un pasaje subjetivante: de la descarga a la escritura, del acting out a la memoria. Se subraya la relevancia clínica de leer el cuerpo como geografía afectiva y acompañar al paciente en la construcción de narrativas que restituyan sentido allí donde predominan la fragmentación y el silencio.This paper examines the body as a psychic surface of inscription in adolescents affected by early trauma, through the clinical case of Mary, an eighteen-years-old patient. Her history of childhood sexual abuse, family violence, and repeated disavowals left a fragmented psychic organization, where self-injury and tattoos emerged as bodily ways of processing the unthinkable. Drawing on Ferenczi, Laplanche, Smadja, Doctors, Catz, and Bleichmar, the study suggests that recourse to the body can operate as a self-soothing procedure when psychic symbolization fails. Within this trajectory, tattoos may acquire a symbolizing function, attempting to create ego boundaries and continuity, in contrast to self-injury as an impulsive discharge of suffering.The case highlights the transition from cutting to tattooing as a subjectivating shift: from discharge to inscription, from acting out to memory. The clinical importance of reading the body as an affective geography is emphasized, supporting the patient in constructing narratives that restore meaning where fragmentation and silence predominate
