No full textΤο αρχείο των δεικτών της ΜΟΔΙΠ ΕΚΠΑ βασίζεται στον αντίστοιχο συνοπτικό πίνακα δεικτών της ΑΔΙΠ με τίτλο Επιτομή Στοιχείων του Αξιολογούμενου Τμήματος. Για το έτος 2011-2012 παρατίθενται τα παρακάτω στοιχεία, με τις εξής υποσημειώσεις: Α) Τα παρόντα στοιχεία αποτελούν επικαιροποιημένα στοιχεία των περισσοτέρων τμημάτων για το έτος 2011-2012. Β) Λόγω των ιδιαίτερων συνθηκών που επικράτησαν στο Ίδρυμα κατά το διάστημα Αύγουστος 2013 – Δεκέμβριος 2013 (κινητοποιήσεις διοικητικών υπαλλήλων), δεν στάθηκε δυνατό να συγκεντρωθούν τα επικαιροποιημένα στοιχεία για όλα τα τμήματα. Properties of contactless and contacted charging in MEMS capacitive switches
Get PDFThe dielectric charging in MEMS capacitive switches is a complex effect. The high electric field during pull-down causes intrinsic free charge migration and dipole orientation as well as charge injection. The macroscopic dipole moment of the first two mechanisms is opposite to the one arising from charge injection. This causes partial compensation hence mitigates the overall charging and increases the device lifetime. The charging due to intrinsic free charge migration and dipole orientation can be monitored under contactless electric field application in the pull-up state. The paper investigates the characteristics of contactless charging and compares them with the ones of contacted charging. The characteristics of the discharging process that follows each charging procedure are also presented
Comparative study of the diachronic evolution of the geological and volcanological environments of the earth with the saturnian satellites Titan and Enceladus.
Get PDFThis thesis presents on the study of the environment of Titan and Enceladus, Saturn’s satellites observed by the Cassini-Huygens mission. Various aspects of the geology of Titan are presented focusing on the characteristics of the surface geological features and processes,the internal structure and the correlation with the atmosphere. The morphotectonic features are presented on the basis of terrestrial models. Moreover, Titan areas probably correlated with the interior are tested against a geophysical model of tidal distortion and found to conform with localisation and internal dynamics. We then study the surface albedo and composition of specific Titan areas (Hotei Regio, Tui Regio, Sotra Patera) –determined by the PCA method- based on data from Cassini/VIMS (0.4–5 μm) on which a radiative transfer code is applied with the most updated spectroscopic parameters. Monitoring of these areas showed surface albedo changes in the course of 1-3.5 yrs, implying dynamic exogenic-endogenic processes that affect the surface and compatible with cryovolcanism in the case of Sotra Patera. Processes that form the surface of Enceladus are also discussed. In addition, the analogies with the Earth's surface and possible internal processes on the icy satellites are being explored. The astrobiological implications of this work are discussed within the framework of the quest for habitable environments in our outer Solar system. These studies are related to the preparation of future space missions to the systems of Jupiter and Saturn and payload capability. Finally, public awareness and perspectives of this research are discussed

Προγράμματος «Εκπαίδευση και Διά Βίου Μάθηση»
Στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος «Θαλής – ΤΕΙ Καβάλας-Nanocapillary» κρίθηκε μείζονος
σημασίας η συλλογή και καταγραφή της επιστημονικής δραστηριότητας και των
επιτευγμάτων που αφορούν τα υπό μελέτη νανοπορώδη υλικά ως προς την παρασκευή τους, την τροποποίησή τους καθώς και την εφαρμογή τους σε πειράματα μελέτης ροής ρευστού δια μέσω της δομής τους, μέχρι σήμερα.
Στόχος
Για να επιτευχθεί ο στόχος δημιουργήθηκε η αναγκαιότητα λήψης αποφάσεων λαμβάνοντας
υπόψη τα κάτωθι δεδομένα:
- Αν έχει πραγματοποιηθεί άλλη έρευνα με το ίδιο πρόβλημα
- Αν ναι τι αποτελέσματα ανέκυψαν
- Ποιες μέθοδοι χρησιμοποιήθηκαν
- Η σημαντικότητα , καινοτομία, πρωτοτυπία του ερευνητικού προβλήματος
- Εντοπισμός και έλεγχος τάσεων και μεταβολών στη διάρκεια του χρόνου

του παρέχει τις βασικές αρχές σκέδασης και προσρόφησης, να καλύπτει όλο το φάσμα των
πορωδών υλικών (ultra, micro, meso και macro) και συγχρόνως να επιτρέπει την επεξεργασία των αποτελεσμάτων με προχωρημένες μεθόδους
Comparative study of the accumulation of Ni in different tissues of mussels and soft clams
Get PDFTwo bivalves, the mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis, and the soft clam Callista chione were exposed to various Ni concentrations for a total period of 20 days, and then a depuration period of 10 days followed. Nickel accumulation in gills, mantle and the remaining body of the animals was measured after 5, 10, 15 and 20 days of exposure to Ni-contaminated seawater. The two organisms showed different behavior regarding Ni accumulation in all three tissues examined. In all concentrations, Ni accumulation increased with time in all three tissues of Mytilus galloprovincialis with gills being the most effective accumulator per dry mass. On the other hand, Callista chione showed an initial response to Ni contamination the first 5 days, followed by stabilization or even a slight decrease of Ni accumulation
