    Digital Filtering Technology in Industrial Measuring and Control System

    This article aims at the technical problems in modernized industrial measuring and control system such as interruption signal, noise signal and other useless signal. First introduces the features and importance of digital filtering technology and then elaborates on the realization methods of digital filtering and frequently used digital filtering calculation methods in the industrial measuring system. The research reveals that integrated usage of numerous methods or even complex digital filtering technology is adopted to calculate and treat such digital signals like random interruption, heat noise, system noise, measuring error and zero-point offset and thus meet the system requirements. The digital filtering technology is widely applied in the processing of HD signal, such as digital audio, radar, image processing, data transmission and biological and medical fields and pledges to provide strong assurance for the real-time, stable and reliable properties of modernized industrial measuring and control system. 

    A Discussion of the Communication Technologies in Smart Grid

    With an increasing number of distributed renewable energy sources and higher requirements on the efficiency, reliability and security of existing power grid, Smart Grid is regarded as a significant evolution to the electric system. This paper mainly discusses the communication technologies applied in power grid from two aspects: cable technology and wireless technology. The former, such as DSL and PLC, is expensive, but it has broad deployment capability, strong communication capability, reliability and security. The latter could save the cost of installation, but it has limitation on bandwidth and security problems. In the future, grid features, system architecture, critical components, pilot projects of smart grid and its application and challenges after integrating with information and communication technology will be further discussed

    Analysis on E-Ticket Image Recognition Technology Based on Mobile QR Code

    Currently, most urban rail transits have adopted IC card technology, yet a huge amount of passengers has to wait and buy tickets in the railway stations or stations located in large-scale shopping malls. As a result, there exists potential safety hazard to the operation department. This paper proposes the electronic ticket system based on mobile 2D barcode; the ticket inspection system is able to swiftly recognize 2D barcode ticket, which is a key technology; it mainly analyzes and researches the recognition of QR Code. QR Code image is recognized and analyzed to effectively reduce recognition time and upgrade recognition rate. With the development of the technology, it is able to realize swift ticket procurement and inspection in the rail transit field.

    Comparison and Analysis of Electronic Voltage Transformer Based on Voltage Detection

    The electronic voltage Transformer (EVT) constitutes key equipment in the intelligent substation; during the half-a-century development, numerous categories have emerged. By analysis and comparison of the working mechanisms and features of various electronic voltage transformers, we have concluded the strengths and defects in various mechanisms and impact factors on the features of voltage transformer and raised specific measures to reduce the impact and problems found in the design. The findings have revealed that ECVT is the mainstream product in the electronic voltage transformer market but interim measuring accuracy requires for improvement; ERVT is limited by the resistance power and insulating property, and not applicable to the higher voltage level; OVT assures excellent measuring quality in the sensing mechanism. However, the application progress will be slowed down due to several factors: the complex production process, measuring precision easily affected by light power fluctuation and temperature change and transmission by optical fibers with a little effect in simplifying insulation and trimming cost

    Rapid development of power electronics technology, successive emerging of new materials and new structural devices, and improvement of computer technology provide vigorous support for actual application of modern control technology. The researches on application of power electronics technology in power system become increasingly extensive and profound, thus enormously supporting and developing reactive compensation technology of power system. This article has discussed application and development of power electronics technology in power system, analyzed reactive power and harmonic wave in power system, briefly introduced the development and research of reactive compensation technology at home and abroad, intensively promoted the development and application of SVC device, and put forward a series of design solutions to lower avoidable energy loss of the whole power system.

    Application of Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Reactive Power/Voltage Control of Power System

    As one of the important constituents of power system automation, reactive power/voltage control possesses inherent characteristics of complexity, nonlinearity, inaccuracy and high requirement for control speed, parts of which are hard to be described by the traditional mathematical models or to be realized by routine control methods. The artificial intelligence (AI) techniques have intelligence feature which traditional method does not bear, so special attentions are paid to the application of AI techniques in reactive voltage control and a lot of results in this field are obtained. In this paper the main results and methods of applying the AI techniques, such as Expert System (ES), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Fuzzy Theory (FT), Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Multi-Agent System (MAS), etc., to reactive voltage control in power systems are summarized, the respective application features of these techniques are analyzed and compared and some problems to be solved are pointed out

    Application of the Microwave Technology to the Environmental Protection
