A Survey of the Smoking Habit among Human Care and Welfare Major Students in Hyogo Prefecture
Get PDFP(論文)Human care and welfare major students, 91 at university level and 53 at vocational school level in Hyogo Prefecture, responded to a questionnaire concerning cigarette smoking. Among males, 32% of the university and 44% of the vocational school ewre habitual smokers. Among the students who take regularly 3 meals a day, smokers were few. In awareness of the health damage caused by smoking, non-smokers have a more concerned and correct understanding than those who smoke.departmental bulletin pape
Similarities and Differences of Interpersonal Value between High-school Students and their Mothers
Get PDFP(論文)Fifty-two 2nd year senior high-school students (about 17 yrs.old) and their mothers (M=43.7yrs.) were tasted by the forced choice technique of Kikuchi-Gordon Survey of Interpersonal Value(KG-SIV). Six domains of interpersonal value orientation(Support, Conformity, Recognition, Independence, Benevolence and Leadership) were investigated. Boys and girls scored higher than their mothers in the domain of Recognition and lower in Conformity and Benevolence. The mean score of Leadership of the boys was significantly highr than that of the girls. The correlation coefficients were not significant between students and their mothers. Get PDFP(論文)This paper deals with the political process of the regional parties in the transition to thedemocracy in Spain. The politics in Spain has been shaked between two opposite traditions:acentralistic tradition and a liberal-democratic and pluralistic tradition. In modern times, whenthe democratic tradition has prevailed, power to the autonomy arises greatly. Under the article151 of the Constitution in contemporary Spain, four regions, Andalusia, Galicia, Catalonia, andthe Basque Country have their own rights to the autonomy. This nationalistic and autonomousorganization and the economic growth have very deep relationships each other. In Catalonia andthe Basque Country, which have got the greatest economic power in all of Spain, regionalisticand nationalistic parties performed their independent influences. But in Andalusia and Galicia,relatively poor regions in Spain, autonomous conditions were strictly cotrolled. Basement Membrane beneath Serous Mesothelial Cells Contains α1(IV), α2(IV), α5(IV), and α6(IV) Chains of Type IV Collagen Demonstrated by Chain-specific Monoclonal Antibodies
Get PDFP(論文)Serous membrane (SM) covers inner surface of abdominal, thoracic and pericardial cavities, aswell as outer surface of organs inside the cavities. It consists of surface mesothelial cells andloose connective tissue. Between them, a thim layer of basement membrane (BM) is located. Type IVcollagen is major constituent of BM, and consists of 6 different a(IV) chains, a1(IV) through a6(IV).Chain-specific functions are assumed by a chain-specific manner of localization. The a(IV) chaincomposition of skin, covering outer surface of the body, is demonstrated to have a1(IV), a2(IV), a5(IV),and a6(IV) chains, whereas that of SM, covering inner surface of the body, is yet to be analyzed. Abdominal wall, small intestine, thoracic wall, lung, pericardium and epicardium of humanmaterials were used in this study. Chain-specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) used were H11(for a1), H22 (for a2), H31 (fo a3), H43 (for a4), H53 (for a5) and H63 (for a6). Fresh frozen sectionswere stained with indirect immunofluorescence staining using the mAbs. Four out of six a(IV) chains, a1, a2, a5 and a6, were demonstrated in BM beneath themesothelial cells of all types of SMs, whereas only capillary BM consisted of a1 and a2. Besides,epicardial SM expressed a3 and a4 moderately as extra components. The a(IV) chain composition was same as those of epidermal skin BM. Students' Evaluation of the Physical Education Classes in the Department of Welfare Business '00

Eighty-six sutudents each submitted a studentevaluation from that consisted of 9 qestions. The scores of students' eraluations, which couldrange from 1 to 5, were all in the hight range. Also, there was significant correlation among nearlyall responses. Voluntary Guardianship and Law : - Ute Walter (Germany) "Das Beteuungsrechtsanderungsgesetz und das Rechtsinstitut der Vorsorgevollmacht"
Get PDFP(論文)In Germany, "Betreuungsgesetz" came into effect from 1992, and the system of care wasestablished. The system consists of the principle of necessity and the subsidiary principle. Eventhough care is needed, if other measures exist-for instance, an appointment of a voluntaryattorney by a care-recipient-care by the law is exempted. A voluntary attorney takes precedenceover a legal guardian. But the provision for a voluntary attorney was not provided in the law. In the "Betreuungsrechtsanderungsgesetz", which was amended in 1999, new provision for avoluntary attorney was added. In the provision, a voluntary attorney's agreement on medicaltreatment and deprivation of freedom is as equally valid as a legal guardian under the permissionof a court. In this case, a written assignment to a voluntary attorney by a care-recipient must bepresented and such treatments must be expressly provided in the text. In this way a voluntary attorney is given the same competence as a legal guardian. From thelegal point of view, however, they are not equally handled. The legislators ask care-recipients todetermine by themselves what part of agency they assign to the voluntary attorney. Thus, the legislators are faced with a difficult problem how they may harmonize the personalrule of self-determination with the rule of law which forcibly regulates the society. J.S. Mill developed the difficult issue in his work "On Liberty (1859)", as a matter ofinterference in personal liberty by legal authority. After that, the issue has been dicussed invarious ways and has become the legal subject on what the role of the law should be. The legislators of the "Betreuungsrechtsanderungsgesetz" have to cope with this issue, buttheir attempts have just begun. In Japan, the Adult-Guardianship was established on April 1,2000. Since the law contains both legal guardianship and voluntary guardianship as thesupplementary system, we cannot be free from the discussion about legal compulsion (legalauthority) versus self-determination (personal liberty).departmental bulletin pape
