Implementing Prophetic Communication in the Leadership of HIQMA Student Organization at UIN Raden Intan Lampung
This study aims to analyze the implementation of prophetic communication in the leadership of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) HIQMA at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Prophetic communication is based on three main pillars: humanization (amar ma’ruf), liberation (nahi munkar), and transcendence (tu’minuna billah). The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The informants consisted of active administrators, alumni leaders, and members of UKM HIQMA selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that humanization is reflected in empathetic leadership, attention to members’ needs, and mentoring, which foster emotional closeness and organizational loyalty. Liberation is evident in the way leaders provide constructive criticism in a gentle and respectful manner, enabling members to grow with confidence. Transcendence appears through the integration of worship values such as prayer, dhikr, and Qur’anic recitation into organizational activities, which strengthens members’ spiritual motivation. Overall, prophetic leadership in UKM HIQMA successfully creates a humane, ethical, and spiritual organizational culture, proving the relevance of prophetic communication within student organizations
Comparative analysis of optimization methods for cut order planning in apparel manufacturing
This study seeks to address the complicated optimization challenge inherent in cut order planning (COP) in the clothing manufacturing business, emphasising fabric consumption, computational economy, and production accuracy. Three optimization approaches were compared: adaptive heuristic scoring optimizer (AHOPS), hybrid metaheuristic optimization with simulated annealing (HIMOSA), and gradient-based penalty-driven (GBPD). The results show that the GBPD method achieved the highest fabric utilization (87.13%), the fewest amount of fabric layers (12), and the maximum computational efficiency (0.022 seconds), significantly outperforming both conventional methods and alternative advanced approaches. AHOPS and HIMOSA, on the other hand, required more layers (15) and produced lower fabric utilization (around 69.70%), with HIMOSA demonstrating noticeably greater computational needs (0.527 seconds). The adaptive heuristic scoring mechanism and the combination of gradient descent and machine learning predictions, which successfully handled the combinatorial difficulties of COP, are responsible for GBPD\u27s exceptional performance. These results offer useful information to manufacturers looking for scalable, effective optimization solutions. They also point to potential avenues for future research, such as extending the applicability of GBPD to more intricate production scenarios and further honing machine learning models for increased efficiency and adaptability
A hybrid fuzzy SWARA-COPRAS framework to evaluate sustainable co-firing in coal power plants: A case study from Indonesia
The transition to sustainable energy encourages various countries, including Indonesia, to adopt Co-Firing technology to reduce carbon emissions without requiring significant investments in power plant infrastructure. The selection of appropriate biomass materials, based on sustainability dimensions, significantly influences the success of Co-Firing implementation. This study proposes a hybrid framework that integrates the Fuzzy SWARA and Fuzzy COPRAS methods to holistically evaluate Co-Firing alternatives, considering technical, economic, environmental, social, and supply chain aspects. A case study was conducted at a power plant in Indonesia, involving four experts from the industry and academia to assess 23 sustainability sub-criteria and five biomass alternatives. The results indicate that the sub-criteria of water footprint, supplier reliability, local job creation, and co-firing retrofit cost are dominant factors in biomass selection. This research selected Alternative 2 (wood chips) as the most effective biomass material for implementation at power plants in Indonesia. Additionally, sensitivity analysis confirmed that biomass is the most stable alternative to changes in criteria weights, which offers high flexibility in the supply chain and circular economic potential. These findings contribute theoretically to developing multi-criteria decision-making methods based on fuzzy logic and practically support policymakers and industry in planning sustainable and adaptive Co-Firing strategies in the face of uncertainty
CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN BEAUTY MALPRACTICE CASES
The purpose of this study is to analyze the basis of criminal law regulation against medical personnel as well as the form of legal protection for victims of beauty malpractice. This research is motivated by the increasing practice of medical aesthetics in Indonesia which often raises legal problems due to medical actions that are not in accordance with professional standards. The urgency of this research lies in the need to clarify the boundaries between ethical, administrative, and criminal violations in aesthetic medicine practice so that there is no excessive criminalization of medical personnel. This study uses normative legal methods with statutory approaches, conceptual approaches, and case approaches. The results of the study show that there is an overlap of norms between the Criminal Code and the Medical Practice Law in the application of the principle of lex specialis derogat legi generali, as well as the need to affirm the recommendation mechanism of the Professional Disciplinary Council as stipulated in Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. The free verdict in the analyzed case was caused by the weak evidence of the culpa lata element and the judge\u27s error in assessing the absence of written informed consent. In conclusion, the legal system needs to strengthen the integration between ethical, administrative, civil, and criminal pathways in order to create legal protection that is balanced between the rights of patients and the professional responsibilities of medical personnel. The findings or novelty of this research is the identification of the need for harmonization between general criminal law and health law in the enforcement of the criminal responsibility of doctors in the field of aesthetic
