No full textThe State of Arizona Administrative Digest is an official publication of the state of Arizona and contains the rulemaking activity of the state's agencies, including proposed, final, emergency, summary, and exempt rules. The Department of State, Publications Division printed the Digest monthly until the Secretary of State became the publisher beginning with the October 31, 1987 issue. The Digest may contain the full text of the Governor's Executive Orders and Proclamations of general applicability, summaries of Attorney General opinions, notices of rules terminated by the agency, and the Governor's appointments of state officials and members of state boards and commissions. Other documents may be included if the documents are concerned with rulemaking or if state statute requires that they be published in the Digest. This title contains one or more publications

No full textThis video contains an interview of veteran Jeffrey Mellinger. Mellinger began his military career as a draftee and initially only planned to complete his assigned two-years of service. However, Mellinger would go on to serve for thirty-nine years in the military, serving in the Army from 1972-2011. During his time, he would go on to become one of the elite Army Rangers and later would gather intel in the Iraq War in a job that required him to gather information from all levels in the theater, speaking to everyone from Privates to four-star Generals. He would later retire in 2011 and would make the news as he was the last Vietnam era draftee in the service
Mayhlon Degernes, Jr., Veterans Heritage Project (Maricopa Community Colleges, 2017-2018)
No full textThis video contains an interview of veteran Mayhlon Degernes, Jr. Degernes began his military career in the Navy, joining in 1944 and serving for two years. His time there was uneventful and so he decided to join the Marines in 1946 and served until 1967. There, Degernes became a Second Lieutenant and a part of the First Marine Division, Company Third Battalion First Marine Regiment. After training, his platoon was deployed to South Korea where he fought in some of the most critical battles of the Korean War, including the decisive battle at the Chosin Reservoir. During his time, Degernes used some of his experiences weathering the cold temperatures of Minnesota to help his men last the frigid Korean winters. Later, after the war, he would help to train other Marines before retiring to enjoy his children's high school years. Degernes would later have a chance to return to South Korea where he marveled at what had been built in the preceding years and where he was thanked by a South Korean citizen for his service to his country
