Nilai yang Dirasakan, Kepuasan, Kepercayaan, dan Loyalitas Wisatawan dalam Pariwisata Halal: Perspektif Hukum Islam dari Lombok
As halal tourism continues to grow globally, understanding the behavioral factors that influence Muslim tourist loyalty has become increasingly important particularly in destinations that prioritize Sharia-compliant services. This study aims to examine the roles of perceived value, customer satisfaction, and trust in shaping tourist loyalty within the context of halal tourism in Lombok, Indonesia. Framed from an Islamic legal perspective, the research explores how these constructs align with Islamic ethical principles such as fairness ('adl), trustworthiness (amanah), and the pursuit of public benefit (maslahah). A quantitative research design was employed, using structured questionnaires distributed to 600 Muslim tourists who visited halal-certified destinations in Lombok. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships among the variables. The results show that perceived value significantly influences both satisfaction and trust, which in turn positively affect tourist loyalty. These findings highlight the importance of ethical service delivery, religious value alignment, and transparent communication in fostering loyalty among Muslim travelers. The study contributes theoretically by integrating behavioral consumer models with Islamic jurisprudence, offering a multidisciplinary perspective on halal tourism. Practically, the results provide strategic guidance for destination managers and policymakers in enhancing tourist loyalty through initiatives such as halal certification, Sharia-compliant service standards, staff training, and the provision of worship-friendly facilities. Inheritance in Banjar Customary Law and Islamic Law: a Study of The Status of Children as Recipients of Inheritance
This study presents a comparative analysis between inheritance systems in Banjar customary law and Islamic law, focusing specifically on the status of children as heirs. In Banjar society, not only biological children but also stepchildren, adopted children, and children born out of wedlock (referred to as anak kampang) are potentially entitled to inheritance, often based on family discussions and social-emotional considerations. In contrast, Islamic inheritance law (faraid) only recognizes the right to inherit based on three legal causes: marriage, bloodline (nasab), and wala’ (loyalty through manumission). The study finds that while Banjar inheritance customs may diverge from the strict rules of Islamic law, they can be harmonized through the concept of ihsan, showing kindness to non-heirs, provided all legitimate heirs consent. This research adopts a normative legal method with comparative and conceptual approaches, using secondary data analyzed qualitatively. The findings suggest that harmonization between local custom and Islamic law is possible as long as justice and mutual consent are preserved

Cultural Hegemony in Aravind Adiga’s The White Tiger
This paper explores the role of cultural hegemony in perpetuating caste- and class-based oppression in contemporary India through a critical reading of Aravind Adiga’s The White Tiger. Grounded in Antonio Gramsci’s theory of hegemony, it examines how ideological consent, coercion, and institutional complicity normalize systemic domination. The novel portrays how caste and class hierarchies persist not just through overt force, but through cultural mechanisms that internalize obedience among the oppressed. Balram Halwai’s morally ambiguous rise from rural servitude to urban entrepreneurship reflects a critique of the entrenched structures of power that manipulate ideology, economy, and identity. Through qualitative textual analysis, the paper reveals how moments of rebellion, while disruptive, and are often reabsorbed into hegemonic systems. Ultimately, the study emphasizes literature’s capacity to critique and challenge dominant ideologies, situating The White Tiger within broader debates on power, resistance, and subaltern agency in Indian fiction and cultural discourse

RELIGION, IDENTITY AND MULTICULTURALISM: FINDING THE BALANCE BETWEEN SPIRITUALITY AND SOCIAL TOLERANCE
Abstract: This research explores the role of religion as a social identity marker in Indonesia's multicultural society through fieldwork in South Sumatra, specifically in Palembang and Musi Banyuasin. The current study utilizes a qualitative approach, incorporating in-depth interviews and participatory observation, to investigate the multifaceted nature of religious identity. The analysis reveals a dualistic function of religious identity, serving as a source of spirituality and a catalyst for social cohesion. However, the study also recognizes the potential for religious identity to catalyze exclusivism. Utilizing a combination of philosophical hermeneutics and a sociological perspective, this study highlights the significance of contextual interpretation of religious teachings in fostering inclusive spirituality. The findings indicate that tolerant spiritual expressions contribute to the strengthening of social harmony, as evidenced by increased interfaith engagement and reduced tensions. A model of spirituality-based multiculturalism is proposed as a strategy for improving social integration in Indonesia.
