    No full text
Pediculosis capitis is a common parasitic infestation in humans and often affects children. This disease is caused by head lice, Pediculus humanus var. capitis, an ectoparasite that infests the scalp and hair with the main symptoms being itching and irritation of the scalp. Generally, children who are infested with head lice do not show serious symptoms, but in some children, it can cause problems in the form of sleep disturbances and loss of concentration when studying and this will disrupt the child's growth and development. An orphanage is a place to live with a group of children who are at risk of head lice infestation. This community service activity aims to carry out head and hair examinations, provide management for children who are positively infested with head lice, and provide education for eradicating and preventing this disease to orphanage residents. This activity was successfully carried out at the Air Jamban Village Orphanage, and the incidence of pediculosis capitis was found to be 30.7%. Children who are infested with head lice are given pharmacotherapy treatment in the form of 1% permethrin lotion and non-pharmacotherapy in the form of a wet comb. To prevent this disease, education was carried out in the form of counseling and an increase in the knowledge of the orphanage residents was obtained before and after the education. It is hoped that this activity can improve the health status of orphanage residents

    No full text
Patin (Pangasius hypophthalmus), a commercially important freshwater fish, is a rich source of protein containing both essential and non-essential amino acids, crucial for various biological functions. This study aimed to determine the amino acid composition of muscle tissue, oil, and bones of P. hypophthalmus and evaluate the wound healing potential of its oil extract in Rattus norvegicus. High-Performance Liquid Chromatography was employed to quantify the levels of essential and non-essential amino acids in each tissue. Results revealed that P. hypophthalmus oil exhibited the highest total amino acid content, particularly rich in histidine, arginine, and lysine. The wound healing activity of P. hypophthalmus oil extract was assessed in a rodent model, demonstrating a significant reduction in wound area (0.62-0.84 mm) and an impressive wound healing percentage (79-84.45%). These findings suggest that different parts of P. hypophthalmus possess valuable nutritional and therapeutic properties. Notably, the high amino acid content of P. hypophthalmus oil, particularly essential amino acids, highlights its potential as a promising source for developing pharmaceutical products, including amino acid supplements, wound healing agents, and formulations for metabolic support. Further research is warranted to fully explore the therapeutic potential of P. hypophthalmus oil and its bioactive components

    No full text
The implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems has become an essential component for many modern organisations in managing company resources more efficiently. ERP is designed to integrate various business functions, such as finance, production, marketing, and human resources, into one centralised platform. Although many organisations successfully implement ERP, the implementation process often faces significant challenges. This study aims to provide a systematic review of ERP implementations, including frequent obstacles, critical success factors, and their impact on organisational performance. The study follows the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) Reporting Guidelines, by analysing relevant articles from Scopus-indexed international journals published between 2022 to 2024. The results show that successful ERP implementation is highly dependent on organisational readiness, support from top management, adequate user training, as well as proper vendor selection. However, the main challenges often faced include resistance to change, high implementation costs, and difficulties in data integration. This research is expected to serve as a guide for organisations that are considering or carrying out ERP implementation to minimise risks while maximising the benefits that can be obtained. &nbsp

The transwomen group is a marginalized gender minority, excluded from various aspects of life, including politics, economics, society, and culture. This marginalization is further exacerbated by the fact that access to public services now requires an electronic ID card (e-KTP). To fulfill their civil rights, transpuan people must network and mobilize collectively. This study examines the communication efforts undertaken by the transpuan community in Yogyakarta to gain access to the e-KTP. The research was conducted through focus group discussions (FGDs) and interviews with members of the transpuan community in Yogyakarta (IWAYO). The findings indicate that vulnerable groups, such as transpuan communities, must establish cross-issue coalitions to create a collective communication network. This collective action becomes a source of strength for marginalized groups to achieve their goals. The community also engaged with government institutions, academics, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to advocate for the empowerment of community members and the fulfillment of their civil rights. Internally, IWAYO fostered communication using various strategies, including establishing sub-communities at nine community locations across Yogyakarta, holding social gatherings (arisan), organizing pesantren (group prayer), and conducting regular meetings
