The decisions, actions, and interactions of managers and employees are shaped by organizational culture, which determines the meaning they attach to events and phenomena within and outside the organization. Thus, everything that happens in an organization is at least partly determined by the organizational culture. Organizational culture is therefore a significant factor in a company’s performance; it can be a „magic wand for success” or a „silent killer.” However, managers often only realize its significance and power when one of their initiatives runs aground or the organization does not respond to a given situation or challenge as they had expected. Even in such situations, managers sometimes fail to recognize that it was the organizational culture they had come up against. In my study, I examine from several perspectives why and how organizational culture can influence managers’ ideas and effectiveness, and why and how managers should take organizational culture into account in their decisions and activities. The decisions, actions, and interactions of managers and employees are shaped by organizational culture, which determines the meaning they attach to events and phenomena within and outside the organization. A kínai állam szerepe az elektromobilitás terjedésében

The article examines Chinese government support for the electric car industry, one of the most intensively developing industries today. The objective of state action is to create the resources for technological development and innovation, with a focus on growth, advancing the green transition and reducing pollution to create a sustainable future. The development of the industry will also enhance the country's global competitiveness, and China aims to become a leader in this new field by integrating it into the entire value chain. The state will adapt its support for companies and households to this end, helping to create social and economic prosperity. One of the fastest-growing companies, BYD, will also be presented, which has become a major international player over the years thanks in part to the subsidies and has factories on all continents. Electromobility is a complex field whose development potential requires an analysis of several technological and economic factors. The entire life cycle of electric vehicles, the production and use process, from the extraction of raw materials to the recycling of used batteries, must be taken into consideration if it is to become a truly environmentally friendly technology in the future.

The manuscript of Erzsébet Kádár Karr's novel Alles ist umgekehrt (Everything is the other way around), which depicts the youth organizations of Budapest during the First World War, won the Heine Prize for young authors working in exile in Paris in 1938. The novel, which has not yet been published in German and was first published in Hungarian in 1958 under the title Gyönyörű ösz, has not yet received attention despite the rediscovery of Erzsébet Kádár Karr's lyrics. The study, outlining the possible reasons for the partial successes and failures, seeks to answer, on the one hand, what role aspects related to women's history played in the novel's reception history. In interpreting the autobiographical novel, we examine the extent to which the character development that was sharply criticized by the reviewers in the history of the Hungarian manuscript, as considered lacking, can be rethought in terms of novel approaches to the functional logic of autobiography, the female Bildungsroman, and autosociobiography. A tanulmány a részleges sikerek és kudarcok lehetséges okait vázolva egyfelől arra keres választ, milyen szerepet játszottak a regény recepciótörténetében a nőtörténethez kapcsolódó szempontok.

Framework of the European Union Social Security Coordination and Its Digitalisation

Social Security Coordination (SSC) within the European Union (EU) is a framework that ensures individuals retain their social security rights as they move across member states, particularly in terms of pensions, healthcare, and unemployment benefits. The EU has made significant strides in integrating and simplifying the coordination of these systems, ensuring that people are not disadvantaged by cross-border mobility. This article examines the core principles of SSC and its ongoing evolution, particularly in light of increasing digitalisation through tools like the Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI), Social Security E-Document (SED), and the European Digital Identity (EUDI). While the digital transformation of SSC is transforming the efficiency and transparency of cross-border exchanges. This paper highlights the importance of both technological advancements and institutional cooperation in achieving seamless and equitable social security coordination. It also underscores the role of digitalisation in improving the overall functioning of SSC.   The research and the e-journal were supported by the Humanities and Social Sciences Cluster of the Centre of Excellence for Interdisciplinary Research, Development and Innovation of the University of Szeged. The Role of Historic Identities in Shaping Post-Communist Constitutional Identity in Hungary, Serbia, and Montenegro: A Comparative Analysis

In the last two decades, the question of dynamics behind the establishment of constitutional identities, especially ones concerning the relationship between constitutional identity and pre-constitutional and extra-constitutional identities raised significant scholarly attention. Following this interest, this article will examine the role pre-communist constitutional identities and traditions had in shaping the novel post-communist constitutional identity in three countries: Republic of Hungary, Republic of Serbia and Montenegro. We will first examine the manner in which these three countries established a discontinuity with their communist past. Afterwards, we will investigate to what extent, and in what manner, did these countries draw upon or reaffirm their pre-communist identity in the process of shaping their novel post-communist constitutional identity. In doing so, we will pay special attention to two constitutional factors – the definition of the constitutional subject and the relationship between the state and the church. After we compare the different approaches, we will conclude that the legitimacy of the new constitutional identity and in turn the overall stability of the constitutional project noticeably relies on the extent to which the constitution makers successfully reintegrated and reinterpreted different historic identities.   The research and the e-journal were supported by the Humanities and Social Sciences Cluster of the Centre of Excellence for Interdisciplinary Research, Development and Innovation of the University of Szeged. Stressz tényezők a Z generációs munkavállalók körében

Generation Z workers (born after 1995) are increasingly challenging managers and HR professionals. They experience difficulties in recruiting, retaining, motivating and managing them. And the relevant literatures have also found that the younger generation as a whole has more difficulty in managing (workplace) stress. Based on a questionnaire survey of 127 employees working in HR or in managerial positions, this study shows how Generation Z employees differ in their experience of certain workplace stressors compared to previous generations. The sample was almost equally split between SMEs, large corporates with less than 500 and more than 500 employees. The results of the study show that Generation Z is more different from previous age groups in terms of the factors that cause work-related stress, such as lack of pay transparency, lack of career development opportunities and monotony, i.e. activities that are stimulating or seem meaningless. Overall, the medians of all stressors showed a positive divergence in the responses of the respondents

The recent years have been marked by a series of tumultuous events, including cyber pandemics, armed conflicts, the digital revolution, and a surge in cyber threats. These developments have profoundly impacted the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), leaving them reeling. The European Family Business Barometer and international CSV reviews have consistently identified that the same challenges and dilemmas are faced in all countries. One of the most concerning aspects of business operations is the potential for external actors to compromise the security of a company’s digital assets. This can take the form of unauthorized access to financial accounts or the complete disruption of a company’s digital infrastructure, including servers and databases. The threat of cybercrime is becoming increasingly acute for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These businesses form the backbone of the Hungarian economy, representing the biggest part of domestic enterprises and providing employment for over 3 million individuals. However, many SMEs lack adequate cybersecurity protection, while hackers are constantly developing new ways to steal, destroy or extort money from corporate assets. Virtual assistants (VAs) represent a potential solution to the challenges associated with digitalization and the shortage of skilled workers in small and medium-sized enterprises. In my own questionnaire survey, I demonstrated that SME managers initially perceive delegation as a significant challenge. However, they subsequently demonstrate a preference for delegation, including the delegation of complete projects, due to the success, efficiency gains, and cost reductions that they observe. Those lacking sufficient IT knowledge and skills are particularly vulnerable to fraudsters. It is impractical for a small business to provide ongoing training to its employees in all areas, so it is advisable to engage the services of other specialists for all but the core activity (e.g., woodworking in a joinery workshop). In this regard, it is worth noting the increasing prevalence of professional, highly skilled digital business support providers who work on a project or hourly basis. Such professionals are sufficiently qualified and sufficiently small to undertake the work of a small company for a few hours a week at a fair price. The range of services is extensive, encompassing areas such as cyber security, administration, legal assistance, marketing, and graphics. There are already qualified and available virtual assistants (VAs) on the market for all these services

Élményszerű, felfedeztető tanulás középiskolásoknak önmagukról a serdülőkori önismeret érdekében: A „testtérképezés” komplex művészeti program pedagógiai alkalmazásának innovatív lehetősége a közoktatásban

This study examines the nature and 21st-century relevance of the Body Mapping complex art program as a supporter of adolescent personality development, viewed through the lens of cognitive and artistic reflections that have emerged as cultural heritage throughout human history. By exploring the experiences related to the Body Mapping art program, focus shifts to the innovative possibilities of school development, which represents both the constructivist approach and a key characteristic of innovation: voluntariness. The program supports self-awareness, allowing participants to mobilize and reflect on their existing personal knowledge and experiences through a summarizing narrative that utilizes artistic tools. This creative process culminates in an integrated and conscious understanding of oneself. From the perspective of the constructivist model of knowledge organization, the program fosters metacognition regarding the participants’ potentials, encouraging the ownership of their uniqueness and the “brave” and free mobilization of their individual characteristics. In this sense, the pedagogical introduction of the program in adolescence, according to the positive preconception of the research, can effectively support mental well-being and impact self-efficacy, academic resilience, and indirectly, cognitive, personal, and social competencies. The project represents the pedagogical adaptation of a method developed during clinical art therapy work, currently being researched at the Doctoral School of Education Sciences at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University. It serves as both a pedagogical development and a trial, reflection, and analysis, functioning as a form of action research. A tudásszervezés konstruktivista modelljének perspektívájából megfogalmazva az önmaguk lehetőségeivel kapcsolatos metakogníciót támogatja a program, saját egyediségének birtokbavételével, tanulásával, a sajátosságok „bátor”, szabad mozgósítása érdekében. Ilyen értelemben pedagógiai szempontból a program oktatási környezetbe való bevezetése serdülőkorban, a kutatás pozitív prekoncepciója szerint, a mentális jólét támogatásán túlmenően jótékonyan hathat az énhatékonyságra, a tanulmányi rezilienciára, illetve közvetetten a kognitív, perszonális és szociális kompetenciák területén is. A projekt egy klinikai művészetterápiás munka során kifejlesztett módszer pedagógiai adaptációja, amely az Eszterházy Károly Katolikus Egyetem Neveléstudományi Doktori Iskolában jelenleg folyamatban lévő kutatás témájaként kerül kidolgozásra: egyszerre pedagógiai fejlesztés, illetve annak kipróbálása, reflektálása, elemzése, azaz egyfajta akciókutatás
