An Analysis of Human Capital Development in Indonesian Islamic Banking System
Get PDFThe present study aim was to analyze human capital development in Indonesian Islamic banking sector, and mainly this study discussed the potential of Islamic banks employee’s knowledge and skills improvement for strengthening their competitive advantages. The following research used qualitive analysis method with primary data collection in the form of semi – structured interviewing of HR manager’s Islamic banks in Indonesia. The result and discussion of present study indicated that indeed, Islamic banks in Indonesia need to strengthen their competitive advantages by delivering an effective training to improve employee’s competency. As mentioned, the finding of study indicated that Islamic banks have to invest more on human capital development as source of business value creation for increasing workforce productivity. In addition, the finding of this study contributes for further research to discuss the contemporary issue of human capital development in Islamic banking industry
DA’WAH AMONG URBAN MUSLIMS IN INDONESIA
Get PDFThe condition of da'wah portraits in the current era of information globalization which is increasingly heavy and complex is certainly a challenge for the development of da'wah. The emergence of problems that target the younger generation is a point of threat to the survival of Muslims, especially in Indonesia. This study aims to look at the portrait of the current da'wah problem and its strategy. The type of research used is a literature review. The results obtained are portraits of the problems faced and become challenges and threats for da'wah activists and da'i namely "silting of faith" due to the progress of the times such as problems related to the erosion of Faith and Manner, shifts in the authority of a single religion, problems of pluralistic, hedonistic, individualistic society. towards a materialistic society associated with rationalistic Muslims. The characteristics of the profile of the Indonesian Muslim community have caused problems both internally and externally. So that this reality requires the application of an effective and efficient da'wah strategy by linking the elements of preachers, messages as well as media in order to compete and maintain Islamic values in the midst of the threat of the times by improving the quality in terms of substantive and methodological competence, increasing the values of rahmatan lil alamin and universal values and the importance of mastering information technology with the use of media up-to-date

Sebagai pengatur tata air untuk mencegah banjir maupun untuk melindungi lingkungan yaitu mencegah timbulnya pencemaran. Di SD 004 Sekeladi Hilir masih perlu sosialisasi dalam menjaga lingkungan sehingga program penghijauan dapat membantu warga sekolah dalam menjaga lngkungan. Terlihat dari tempat bunga yang masih banyak kosong sehingga perlu d sosialisasikan upaya menjaga lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakatini adalah sosialisasi, yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk ceramah,tanya jawab, diskusi dan menggunakan media dalam bentuk handout mengenai Penyampaian materi Pentingnya penghijauan. Get PDFProduk dana talangan haji yang kerap kali menuai masalah, karena dengan adanya produk tersebut cenderung masyarakat memaksakan diri untuk berhaji. Padahal secara finansial belum memiliki kemampuan. Selain itu, masyarakat yang menggunakan produk dana talangan haji tanpa disadari membuat antrean haji overload, sehingga mereka yang mampu secara finansial terkondisikan mendapatkan antrean yang lebih lama, maka Menteri Agama RI melalui Perma Agama RI melakukan moratorium produk dana talangan haji. Tujuan penelitian ini bagaimana strategi pemasaran produk dana talangan haji ditahun 2018-2019 di BPRS Kotabumi Kantor Cabang Bandar Lampung, setelah Menteri Agama RI melakukan moratorium dana talangan haji, sesuai dengan keputusan Perma Agama RI Nomor 24 Tahun 2016, sehingga hasil penelitian ini berfokus pada promosi dan people yang dikemas dalam bentuk periklanan (advertising), TRABAS (Tebar Brosur) ke Instansi Pemerintah dan Swasta, serta event Pengajian Akbar atau Rutinan yang dilakukan secara personal dan kolektif. Dengan demikan, nasabah calon jamaah haji diharapkan dapat pro aktif dan interaktif dalam merespon produk dana talangan haji di BPRS Kotabumi Kantor Cabang Bandar Lampung

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the management of manasik guidance services held during a pandemic at KBIH Muslimat NU Balikpapan and describe the responses of prospective pilgrims who take part in these manasik guidance activities. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, with a case study approach. The results showed that the management of the KBIH Muslimat NU Balikpapan Manasik guidance service during the Pandemic Period was carried out using four management functions namely planning, organizing, actuating and supervising. The congregation's response to the KBIH ritual service management stated that as much as 50% were very satisfied, 32% were satisfied, 12% were quite satisfied, and 6% were dissatisfied

This study aims to find out the steps that religious counselors do to improve the creative economy of adolescents in Sumbawa, with the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The steps of religious counselors do in improving the creative economy of adolescents in Sumbawa, were to build relationships or approaches to the community that aimed to establish good communication in order to create a conducive situation, religious counselors in carrying out their duties in inviting, calling, and can convince teenagers to manifest religious behavior and hold a creative economic development process for the target group (weekly coaching). This step is the right step and must be developed, in order to foster youth into Islamic youth, and have an entrepreneurial spirit. (2) The supporting factors for religious counselors in improving the creative economy of youth in Sumbawa are support from the community and adequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as motivation from teenagers. The inhibiting factors are the lack of religious counselors, namely there are only a few people in one village and have to carry out activities, as well as the lack of discipline and seriousness of teenagers, and teenagers who are ignorant
Students’ Autonomous Learning Activities outside the Classroom to Master English as a Foreign Language
Get PDFThe complexity of foreign language learning and its restricted time to learn in the classroom need proactive efforts from the English students outside the classroom with full initiative and effort. This study tended to investigate to what extent students’ autonomous learning activities outside the classroom to master English (four English skills). This study applied a descriptive quantitative design. It was conducted at a state university in Majene, West Sulawesi, Indonesia in the academic year 2021/2022. The population was English education students in the second and third years. There were 62 students who participated in this research. They were selected by using a convenience sampling technique. To gain the data, this research employed a questionnaire as a research instrument which consists of 16 items of statements. The data, then, were analyzed by employing descriptive statistics. Based on the data analysis, it was found that students’ autonomous learning activities outside the classroom are still limited to activities that are entertaining for them. Apart from that, it has not been found that their extra efforts are done independently to become more proficient in every English skill. This indicates that students are still passive learners. By knowing the independent learning efforts carried out by students out of the classroom, English lecturers are expected to be able to design policies or teaching strategies to guide students so that they can increase their efforts by optimizing the wealth of available independent learning resources.
 
Exploring Public Health Arabic Vocabulary For Arabic Teaching Materials
Get PDFThe emergence of new vocabulary related to public health is very important for the public to know, especially the new vocabulary about the Covid-19 pandemic in Arabic. This study aims to promote Arabic vocabulary - based teaching materials related to public health to introduce Arabic learners to new vocabulary. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on library research by using the steps of preparing teaching materials using the Dick and Carey model. The data for this research is sourced from the online electronic media of the BBC Arabic, using vocabulary adaptation techniques to compile Arabic teaching materials. The results of this study confirm that in the preparation of Arabic teaching materials, the four basic principles of fhe foreign language learning approach are used. Based on the research that has been carried out, it was found that there are several of new vocabularies related to the Covid-19 pandemic in Arabic. Furthermore, the adaptation of the development of new Arabic vocabulary teaching materials is arranged according to the principles and concepts of language learning, so that in the implementation and teaching of new vocabulary students are expected to achieve maximum results
