Whereas leucaena leaves have high nutritional value and palatable. Cattle body weight can grow well, so farmers get an advantage when using leucaena as feed.Extension activity was conducted in Kelompok Tani Ternak Aik Kolong, Mura Village, District of Brang Ene, West Sumbawa Regency. Selection of places at the request of community leaders from this place. After the extension activities, farmers have begun to understand and realize that the maintenance cattle for fattening efforts absolutely need quality feed intake. Farmers will seed and a plant leucaena seed given in the cage area, yard, or in their fields after the rainy season arrives. This was conveyed in discussions (Q&A) events that developed during extension activities and technical guidance conducted in a simulation. Get PDFPijot Village has very important marine tourism potential, because it is the closest gateway to enter the Pink Beach tourist areas and 27 Gili through the waters. This potential increases with the operation of the Mandalika International Circuit, because Pijot Village as one of the Buffer Villages has an important role to support tourism development on the island of Lombok. One of the tourist areas that can be developed in Pijot Village is the Ar Muara Selayar tourist area. However, the tourism potential of the village is still not well organized, not sustainable, and still partial. Muara Selayar area is a coastal area, where horticultural plants cannot grow properly due to the type of soil and high demand for fresh water. Meanwhile, one of the obstacles in this area is the lack of fresh water supply. For this reason, the development of hydroponics is a solution to these problems. The development of vegetable cultivation with a hydroponic system can have two functions, namely meeting the need for fresh vegetables for the needs of the community and tourist areas and at the same time becoming an attractive tourist attraction. Where tourists can pick the desired vegetables themselves and buy from the community or also meet the needs of culinary processing in this tourist area. This service activity aims to provide training and assistance in the development of vegetable cultivation with a hydroponic system. To achieve this target, a Participatory Rural Appraisal approach is used which emphasizes community involvement in all activities starting from planning, implementing and evaluating programs. This activity is divided into three, namely: 1) socialization on the establishment and management of tourist destinations and attractions; 2) demonstration plot for developing vegetable cultivation with a hydroponic system; and 3) assistance in managing the Muara Selayar Tourism destination in Pijot Village. This activity was carried out in partnership with two target groups, namely Pokdarwis and the Pijot Village PKK Group. The result of this activity is the formation of a PKK group that is able to maintain hydroponic vegetable plants to serve as a food source, as well as make it a tourist attraction. Get PDFThe climate in Saribaye Village makes it possible to cultivate various types of plants, both food crops and horticultural crops. Problems that are often encountered in plant cultivation are pest attacks that damage crops, especially horticultural crops in the yard. The use of chemical pesticides is the mainstay of farmers in overcoming pests and diseases. On the other hand, the use of chemical pesticides threatens environmental health. One of the solutions offered is the use of plant-based pesticides that are environmentally friendly, inexpensive and easy to manufacture. Various types of plants that grow in the Saribaye Village environment have the potential to be used as raw materials for botanical pesticides. Farmers in Saribaye Village do not have the ability to independently make botanical pesticides. Therefore, training in the manufacture of botanical pesticides was a crucial thing that must be done. The training aims to improve farmers' skills in making botanical pesticides as alternative pesticides using the basic ingredients of gamal leaves and papaya leaves. The activity will be held from 22 to 23 July 2022, located in Saribaye Village. The training was attended by the Women Farmers Group (KWT) and the head of the Saribaye Village youth and youth who were interested in developing horticultural crops in their yards. This activity is carried out through lecture methods and direct demonstrations. Get PDFLombok Island as a tropical region with complex geology conditions included West Lombok Regency intensively undergo rocks weathering that further will be a cause of geological hazard such as landslide. Community knowledge and understanding of landslide hazard needs to be carried out continuosly. Therefore, the role of colleges to provide disaster education are needed. The aim of this community service is to provide knowledge and understanding regarding landslide prone areas in disaster risk reduction efforts. Students of D-3 Study Program in Mining Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram is an activity participant. This activity employed a counseling method through lecture and site visit. It was analyzed using rating scale with Likert scale method. The results showed that participants’ knowledge and understanding had increased. The highest increase is landslide causes 36,40%, followed by landslide impacts 33,33%, landslide type 30,67%, and the lowest is landslide mechanism 28,00%, with an average increase by 32,10%.

Sehingga masyarakat diminta untuk dapat meningkatkan ketahanan tubuh dengan cara mengkonsumsi makanan yang sehat dan bergizi. Selain itu dibutuhkannya juga pemberian vaksinasi untuk anak-anak di tingkat sekolah dasar hingga menangah umum. Hal demikian dihimbau oleh pemerintah di Indonesia guna mempersiapkan peserta didik yang harus terbiasa hidup dan beraktifitas di era new normal seperti diketahui bahwa Pandemi Covid -19 telah berlangsung hamper selama tiga tahun. Maka dari inu dengan pemberian vaksinasi merupakan salah satu cara agar tetap berlangsungnya kegiatan pembelajaran secara langsung atau tatap muka. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini diharapkan murid-murid sekolah dasar memahami pentingnya vaksinasi untuk kekebalan tubuh dan keberlansungan kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Sosialisasi pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan suatu kegiatan yang memberikan ilmu dan wawasan dari para tim kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk adi-adik di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Palembang. Pada proses pelaksanaanya dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta kegiatan tersebut sangat antusias dan merasa termotivasi dengan untuk meningkatkan imunitas atau kekebalan tubuh, salah satunya yaitu dengan mengikuti pemberian vaksinasi di kalangan anak SD. However, many traders also have limited technological knowledge skills and do not take advantage of good opportunities in using technology. So there must be a solution to deal with this problem. With the existence of technology counseling, training and mentoring and the application of application technology that makes it easier for rice traders/rice stalls to use the technology. This training is aimed at rice stall traders and the community through the Online Kitchen application. The training will be supported by assistance from the service team in registering merchant/consumer accounts, registering food/beverage menus, confirming orders, paying, sending and preparing reports. The method applied in this activity is to use the method of dialogue, discussion together, as well as training and assistance in using the application. This activity was carried out from 2 stages of training, 1. The first training was for rice stall traders and the second was training and mentoring for the community. The activity of making this application has the aim of making it easier for rice stall traders to use technology that increases online sales, so that traders do not only rely on direct sales on the spot

However, the Lombok island strong earthquake in 2018 damaged facilities and infrastructures because the location of Senggigi was close to the epicenter of the earthquake. One of the damages occurred at the youth organization center in Kerandangan Sub-village. The purpose of this community service is to assist in repairing the center; therefore it can operate normally. The method used is divided into several stages. The first stage is an assessment of the damage to ensure whether the center can be rehabilitated economically. The second stage is to collect data on the details of the damage. The third stage is to decide which repairs will be made and the materials to be used. The last stage is rehabilitation activities. This work was carried out in approximately two weeks with the community self-financing fee and directed by the community service team. The Senggigi Village Head has re-inaugurated the center and is expected to be used according to its previous function by the children and youth of Senggigi Village

This dryland has the potential to be developed as a cayenne pepper-producing area in the off-season (rainy season) because the possibility of waterlogging is very low. However, very few farmers grow cayenne pepper outside of the season in Gumantar Village, and the failure rate due to pests and diseases is very high. This extension aimed to motivate farmers to grow cayenne pepper out of season by providing knowledge on cultivation procedures and techniques for managing plant pests and diseases. The method used was by meeting, discussion, and plot demonstration. Evaluation activities were carried out using two methods, namely ex-ante and summative. Overall, it can be said that the extension activities had a positive impact on the participants, as indicated by the high motivation of farmers to grow cayenne pepper out of season. Participants' satisfaction with the presented materials, along with the visualization results of the demonstration plot, were the main keys to the success of the extension

Get PDFBackground: Morbus Hansen (Leprosy) is a skin health problem that is still often found in the people of West Nusa Tenggara. Leprosy is caused by various factors, including personal hygiene, water conditions, and nutrition. In addition to being infected by Micobacterium Leprae itself, hygiene factors and initial therapy will determine the success of treatment and the prognosis of the disease which will then affect the health and quality of life of the community. In the research that has been done, it is said that leprosy in Indonesian society, especially Nusa Tenggara, is still very large, even many people do not know about the disease and come with a certain level of severity.
Situation Analysis: Health workers play an important role in disseminating knowledge of leprosy (Morbus Hansen) which has begun to appear at a certain level of severity, which can affect the quality of life of sufferers. Through this educational activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in public knowledge about early detection of leprosy which may appear with an already poor prognosis and complications that affect the success of further therapy.
Approach Method: The approach steps taken in this program consist of counseling the general public regarding the early detection of leprosy (Morbus Hansen) in the Sumbawa community at the Manambae Hospital.
Results and Conclusions: Of the 20 questionnaires distributed, only 3 got a score of 75 and 17 others got a score below 50. After education was done in the form of watching videos simultaneously and reassessment 15 people got a score above 50 and 5 people got a score below 50 Visitors who are skin and sex polyclinic and general poly at Manambae Hospital have very little knowledge about Morbus Hansen, this can be seen from the results of filling out questionnaires before being given education. There is a very significant comparison between scores before being given education and after being given education. In medical principles prevention is better than cure, so it is important to conduct education with the aim of preventing disease

Get PDFBackground: Skin health problems are one of the most common diseases in coastal communities, caused by various factors, including personal hygiene, water conditions, and humidity. In the research that has been done, it is said that skin disease in coastal communities is a major problem for people living in coastal areas. Until now, skin diseases in coastal areas are still a problem for most Indonesian people, most of whom live on the coast.
Situation Analysis: Health workers play an important role in disseminating knowledge about skin diseases that often appear in coastal communities, one of which is by organizing early detection counseling activities. Through this activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in public knowledge about early detection of skin diseases that may appear in coastal communities.
Method: The approach steps taken in this program consist of counseling the general public regarding the early detection of skin diseases in coastal communities. Results and Conclusions: In the provision of education which was preceded by a pre-test first, it showed that the people of the coastal area of Ampenan had low awareness and level of knowledge related to Skin Health, from 30 people who had been given education it was known that 25 people got a score of less than 50. After being given education about skin health and early detection of skin health, then an evaluation was carried out. It was found that there was an increase in the score to 20 people with a score above 50. Through these results, it is known that education on the introduction and early detection of skin diseases is important because it can prevent the severity and increase the number pain caused by skin disease
