Penerapan Ergonomi dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Kerja pada UMKM Wilayah Rawan Polusi (Kubang Raya)
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) along Jalan Kubang Raya encounter substantial challenges in implementing ergonomic principles and managing workplace environmental conditions. Preliminary observations conducted on 20 MSMEs revealed that 85% of workers engaged in non-ergonomic postures 65% consistently worked in a stooped position, while 45% utilized work tables with suboptimal heights (50-60 cm). Moreover, 90% of workers were directly exposed to ambient air pollution and road traffic noise. This community engagement program was developed to enhance ergonomic awareness and improve workplace environmental conditions through four stages of intervention: (1) observation using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, (2) interactive awareness sessions, (3) hands-on training in simple work tool modifications, and (4) periodic evaluation. The program outcomes demonstrated a significant increase in ergonomic comprehension (from 25% to 82% as measured by pre- and post-tests), a 45% reduction in musculoskeletal pain complaints, and the adoption of safe work practices by 78% of participants. Notably, 65% of the MSMEs independently constructed dust protection devices, contributing to a reduction in pollution exposure by up to 30%. These findings underscore the effectiveness of participatory approaches in promoting occupational health and enhancing productivity in MSMEs operating in high-risk environmental areas. For sustainability, it is recommended to establish local ergonomic cadres and integrate training modules into the programs of the regional Department of Manpower.
Enhancing Practical AI Competency with YOLO 2D Detector Object Localization Technology
Object locatization is one of important aspect of computer vision, which refers to a system's ability to detect and determine the position of objects within an image. However, general audience practical understanding of object localization is remains limited. To address this issue as a community service team, and organized a workshop focused on YOLO (You Only Look Once)-based object localization. This workshop was conducted free of charge online via the Google Colab platform. The event was successfully carried out and received positive feedback from the participants. This workshop are providing a real studycase through brain tumor detection from image-based approaches, aiming to provide an in-depth experience in object localization while also offering the latest updates on artificial intellegent technology trends based on digital image processing. Based on evaluation results indicated that the majority of participants, who previously had no experience in object detection, were able to understand the fundamental concepts of object localization and apply them directly using the cloud platform. This workshop demonstrates that cloud-based learning approaches utilizing Google Colab and Roboflow are highly effective in bridging the gap between theory and practice in object localization
PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS TEKS NEGOSIASI KELAS X SMK
Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki tantangan tersendiri karena karakteristik siswa yang lebih berorientasi pada keterampilan praktis dibandingkan teori. Salah satu kompetensi penting yang harus dikuasai siswa SMK adalah kemampuan berbahasa, baik lisan maupun tulisan, untuk menunjang komunikasi profesional di dunia kerja. Salah satu jenis teks yang krusial dikuasai adalah teks negosiasi, mengingat negosiasi merupakan keterampilan vital dalam dunia bisnis, penyiaran, perdagangan, dan berbagai sektor industri lainnya. Namun, pembelajaran teks negosiasi di SMK sering kali terkendala bahan ajar yang kurang interaktif dan kurang kontekstual dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Buku teks konvensional belum sepenuhnya memenuhi karakteristik pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menekankan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif, dan komunikatif. Selain itu, rendahnya minat baca serta dominasi metode pembelajaran ceramah membuat siswa kesulitan memahami struktur dan strategi bernegosiasi secara efektif. Digitalisasi pembelajaran melalui pengembangan e-modul menjadi salah satu solusi inovatif untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. E-modul menawarkan fleksibilitas akses, penyajian materi yang lebih menarik melalui media teks, gambar, dan interaktifitas, serta memungkinkan siswa belajar secara mandiri sesuai dengan ritme mereka. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, e-modul dapat menyajikan contoh-contoh negosiasi nyata yang relevan dengan dunia kerja, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan aplikatif. Pengembangan e-modul teks negosiasi ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan aktual di lapangan. Hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa kelas X Broadcasting di SMK Generasi Madani Cibinong menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa merasa kesulitan memahami teks negosiasi dengan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. Mereka membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang lebih modern, interaktif, dan praktis untuk mendukung keterampilan berbahasa mereka, khususnya dalam menulis teks negosiasi yang efektif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengembangan e-modul teks negosiasi yang tidak hanya layak dan efektif secara akademik, tetapi juga relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa SMK untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja yang menuntut kecakapan berkomunikasi yang adaptif dan profesional
DIALOGUE IN THE DIGITAL AGE: A COMPARISON OF HUMAN PODCASTS AND AI CHATBOTS THROUGH CONTENT AND NARRATIVE ANALYSIS
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology, namely large language models (LLMs), has developed rapidly. Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT ), is one example of a technology product designed as a natural language processing model identified as GPT-4. This study aims to compare the ability of Large Language Models (LLMs), namely ChatGPT in producing natural and meaningful dialogue in podcasts with human language. To test the hypothesis that AI is capable of mimicking conversations, researchers compared podcasts featuring dialogues between humans and chatbots generated by ChatGPT. The research method used is qualitative research method to describe the difference between AI and human dialogue. The object of research is podcast data that has been published digitally, namely podcast recordings from the YouTube platform in the Turn Level Gaming (TLG) account channel and podcast transcripts generated from videos. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of documentation, namely collecting podcast video recordings and transcripts from sources available online. Data analysis techniques use content analysis to uncover fundamental similarities and differences between the two types of podcasts. The results of the analysis were compared with related literature to provide justification for the research findings. The results of content analysis show that there are elements of theme, category of content, purpose of message, and style of language. The structure of human sentences in podcasts shows social flexibility, emotional function, and the formation of shared meanings. Meanwhile, the results of narrative analysis show 3 elements, namely orientation, complications, and evaluation. The sentence structure on the cchatbotis still limited to the accuracy and efficiency of information, it has not been able to compile a contextual narrative or argumentative structure. This difference shows that human interactions with humans and chatbots differ fundamentally, not just in the content of the conversation, but in the way sentence structure is used to create meaning, relationships, and emotions
TOWARD A 'HALF-MACHINE, HALF-HUMAN' TRANSLATOR FOR LOCAL MALAY: A SIMPLE TRANSLATION APP
Translation from one language to another requires substantial recources, including manpower and time, often causing significant delays. One possible solution is machine translation, which automates pasrt of the process. Various computational tools, such as Google Translate, Babelfish, adn DocTranslator, have been develop to assist general translation tasks. However, these tools do not support many local languages, despite the high demand for such translations. In Indonesia alone, there are hundreds of local language, making this an urgent need. This challenge motivated the authors to develop a simple translation machine specifically for local Malay languages
THE EFFECT OF PSAK 71 COMPARED TO PSAK 55 ON NET PROFIT, CAR, AND LDR IN BANKING COMPANIES IN INDONESIA
The implementation of PSAK 71 has been effective since January 1, 2020, replacing PSAK 55. The primary difference between the two standards lies in the calculation method for the Allowance for Impairment Losses, where PSAK 71 adopts the expected credit loss (ECL) model, which is more proactive than the loss incurred model (LIM) applied in PSAK 55. This study aims to analyze the differences in net profit, capital adequacy ratio (CAR), and loan-to-deposit ratio (LDR) in 46 banking companies in Indonesia during the 2019–2021 period. Secondary data were used, and the analysis was conducted using SPSS. While the initial analysis applied the paired sample t-test, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test indicated that all variables were not normally distributed; therefore, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was employed. The results reveal that net profit differs significantly between 2019 and 2020, but shows no significant difference between 2019 and 2021. CAR does not differ significantly between 2019 and 2020, but differs significantly between 2019 and 2021. LDR shows no significant differences in both year-to-year comparisons. These findings indicate that the impact of PSAK 71 varies across financial indicators, with the strongest effect observed on net profit during its first year of implementation
** Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Penerapan Teknologi Pengolahan Sampah Pada Bank Sampah Sawo Kencana
Peningkatan konsumsi dan pertumbuhan penduduk menyebabkan volume sampah terus bertambah serta menimbulkan permasalahan lingkungan. Masyarakat Bank Sampah Sawo Kencana secara langsung menghadapi tantangan tersebut, khususnya dalam pengelolaan sampah. Partisipasi aktif dan kepedulian masyarakat menjadi faktor penting untuk memperkuat kapasitas dalam menjaga lingkungan serta mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui penerapan teknologi pengolahan sampah melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra, sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik pembuatan produk, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Hasilnya, masyarakat mampu menerapkan teknologi pengolahan sampah, antara lain mengubah sampah organik menjadi kompos dan eco-enzyme, memanfaatkan sampah plastik sebagai bahan campuran paving block, serta mengolah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa sampah dapat diolah menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan fungsional. Selain berkontribusi pada pengurangan timbulan sampah di lingkungan, program ini juga membuka peluang ekonomi alternatif, sehingga menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam strategi pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan. The increasing levels of consumption and population activities have led to higher waste generation, causing environmental pollution. Communities involved in the Sawo Kencana Waste Bank often face challenges, particularly in environmental management. Active community participation is crucial to enhance human resource capacity in order to improve quality of life and support sustainable development. This community service program aims to provide solutions by utilizing waste and processing it into products with economic and practical value. The activities included coordination with partners, community outreach, training, product manufacturing practices, mentoring, and evaluation. The results show that the management and members of the Sawo Kencana Waste Bank were able to apply waste processing technologies, such as converting organic waste into fertilizer and eco-enzymes, reusing plastic waste as raw material for paving blocks, and transforming used cooking oil into candles. These initiatives demonstrate that waste processing not only adds economic and functional value but also contributes to reducing waste generation within the community
Pengaruh Pemasangan Suction Pre-Filter Terhadap Konsumsi Suction Main-Filter Dan Konsumsi Listrik Pada Centrifugal Kompresor IHI T2A200 – H di Pabrik PT. XYZ
Kompresor udara menyumbang sebagian besar energi yang dikonsumsi, dimana energi tersebut merupakan konsumsi listrik yang digunakan untuk menjalankan kompresor dan biaya perawatannya, salah satunya adalah biaya konsumsi suction filter. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan perbaikan terus menerus untuk menekan biaya operasional pabrik, salah satu caranya adalah dengan mengurangi konsumsi suction filter melalui modifikasi penambahan suction pre-filter dan diperoleh konsumsi listrik kompresor yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam percobaan adalah dengan memvariasikan antara suction pre-filter (modifikasi filter) dan suction main-filter (original filter) sebagai parameter independent dibandingkan dengan Aliran Udara (m3/jam), Arus (A) dan daya motor (kW) sebagai parameter dependent. Dianalisis untuk mendapatkan nilai yang paling optimal. Suction pre-filter dapat memperpanjang masa pakai suction main-filter dari masa pakai sebelumnya yaitu 2160 jam menjadi 8640 jam. Jadi presentase kenaikannya sebesar 300%, melebihi target biaya Perusahaan sebesar 30%, dan juga menurunkan biaya listrik
Analisis Kinerja Solar Charge Controller Menggunakan Thyristor dengan Sumber Energi Hibrida
This study aims to enhance innovation in electric motorcycle battery charging systems using solar panels as the energy source. A 14-day performance comparison was conducted between a thyristor-based charger and a conventional charger, with current and voltage data recorded from PLN grid and solar power sources. The maximum charging power from the PLN grid reached 359.21 W with a 4.5-hour charging time, while the solar panel produced 621.71 W with a 2.5-hour charging time. The hybrid system using a 3A power supply achieved 3.103 W. These results align with the calculated power based on the specified input and output parameters
Penggunaan CTF-9A Admixture Tambahan sebagai Optimasi pada Produksi Beton Pracetak (Studi Kasus pada Produksi Tiang Pancang/Spun Pile)
The addition of admixtures to precast concrete is one method to enhance performance and production efficiency. This study aims to evaluate the effect of using CTF-9A chemical admixture on the mechanical properties and early hardening characteristics of precast concrete. The methodology includes testing compressive strength, setting time, and workability of concrete with varying doses of CTF-9A in a standard concrete mix. The results indicate that the optimal dosage of CTF-9A can increase compressive strength by up to 12% compared to normal design concrete, accelerate the initial setting time, and maintain slump within an applicable time frame for precast operations. Therefore, CTF-9A shows potential as an effective admixture to improve the quality and productivity of the precast concrete industry
