Get PDF公立大学法人島根県立大学しまね地域研究センターは，2019年4月に地域課題や地域文化の研究に取り組み，地域貢献を推進していくことを目的として設立された。本研究は，2019年度しまね地域研究センタープロジェクト研究助成に採択され，島根県内でも高齢化率の高い隠岐諸島において，独り暮らしの高齢者への食生活支援を目的とした地域貢献活動を行った。隠岐の島町は，平成27年国勢調査で，高齢化率38.1％であり，本調査回答者においても60代～70代が最も多く，高齢者の割合の多さを示していた。また，食生活においては，その日にとれた魚や自分の畑の野菜を食べるなど，自然の恵みに準じた食生活の様子が伺えた。知夫村は，高齢化率49.6％と，隠岐諸島の中でも最も高い地域である。しかし，新規移住者の受け入れ等により，住民の世代格差は殆ど無く，バランスのとれた世代構成となっていた。そのような中においても，島の伝統的な食文化や，その日とれた魚や畑の野菜を分け合うなど，昔ながらの地域近所付き合いの風景も感じられる様子が伺えた。本研究では，地域ぐるみの相互支援の文化が残る村の生活が独り暮らしの高齢者支援の原点であることを見直す貴重な機会となった。departmental bulletin pape
