The Effectiveness of Using Problem-based Learning Methods in Improving Students' Reading Comprehension
Get PDFReading comprehension is the foundation of reading since it seeks to grasp the meaning of the reading material. One approach to improving pupils' reading comprehension is to employ the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method. This study sought to determine the efficiency of the Problem Based Learning method in enhancing students' reading comprehension. This study employs a comprehensive literature review approach. Research activities or analysis are carried out by gathering article data from national journals that may be accessible through Google Scholar over the last five years (2020-2024) relating to the issue under consideration. The study found that using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning style can help pupils enhance their reading comprehension
Exploring The Factors Influencing Anxiety in ESL Teaching Interns Across Different Education Levels
Get PDFThis study examines the anxiety experienced by ESL teacher-interns in Indonesia, specifically those teaching English in primary and secondary schools, and how this anxiety impacts their teaching. As they are still in the process of learning to teach, many teacher-interns feel nervous using English in the classroom. This anxiety can hinder their ability to deliver lessons effectively and engage students. Using a qualitative research approach, the study collected data through interviews with four teacher-interns from different school levels. The findings reveal that anxiety stems from four key factors: lesson preparation, classroom conditions, lack of confidence, and physical health. Many teacher-interns struggle with managing students, planning lessons, and maintaining confidence in their English skills. Large class sizes and student behavior further contribute to their stress. Additionally, some interns fear making mistakes, and teaching becomes even more challenging when they are tired or unwell. The study underscores the importance of improved training, mentorship, and emotional support to help teacher-interns build confidence and enhance their teaching effectiveness

Keberadaan wali nikah tersebut sangat penting dalam akad pernikahan. Selanjutnya wali dianggap adhol atau enggan apabila ia menghalangi perempuan yang ada di bawah perwaliannya untuk menikah dengan laki-laki pilihannya dan sanggup membayar mahar yang seharusnya, setelah keduanya menyukai antara satu sama lain. Apabila terjadi seperti itu, perwaliannya langsung pindah ke wali hakim. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam peulisan tesis ini yaitu penelitian Sosio Legal Research yaitu kegiatan penelitian yang dilaksanakan dengan mengumpulkan data-data lapangan sebagai sumber utama. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu putusan dan wawancara dengan hakim Pengadilan Agama Tulungagung.Hasil dari penelitian ini Putusan Nomor:248/Pdt.P/2023/PA.TA, keengganan Wali untuk menikahkan anaknya dengan alasan adat, jika anak perempuannya tetap melakukan perkawinan dengan calon suaminya maka pelaksanaan perkawinan tersebut menentang adat lusan besan. Pelaragan tersebut tidak termasuk larangan yang diatur di dalam hukum Islam. THE EFFECT OF FARMERS’ MOTIVATION ON WILLINGNESS TO CONTINUE ORGANIC FARMING IN BANTUL, INDONESIA
Get PDFBantul Regency is one of the central areas of organic farming in the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province. However, its development has slowed down and often ends with a switch back to conventional farming systems. This study aims to determine how motivation influences the willingness to continue (WTC) to continue organic farming in Bantul Regency. The location in Bantul Regency was purposively selected based on the potential for organic farming development, using non-probability techniques we used questionnaires to collect data among 42 participants and in-depth interviews with three key informants. The ERG theory is used as an approach to complement three important variables, namely existence, relatedness, and growth, then analysed using PLS-SEM. These findings indicate that farmers' decisions to continue (WTC) organic farming are influenced not only by fulfilling basic needs or incentives (existence) but also by their psychosocial drive (growth). Meanwhile, external influences (relatedness) are not significant in motivating farmers to sustain organic farming practices. Get PDFThe banking industry plays an important role in the stability of the Indonesian financial system. This study examines the effect of capital adequacy, bank efficiency, credit growth, and liquidity on credit risk in commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Using panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model approach on secondary data for the period 2019 to 2023, with samples obtained through saturated sampling techniques. The results showed that only liquidity has a significant positive effect on credit risk, which indicates that a high liquidity ratio can increase credit risk if not managed properly. Capital adequacy, bank efficiency, and loan growth did not have a significant effect, which means capital adequacy and operational efficiency may not be directly related to credit risk

Get PDFThe use of non-subsidized LPG, Bright Gas, designated for middle and upper income households, always decreases every year, on the other side the use of LPG subsidized 3 Kg has increased. This condition indicates the low interest in buying bright gas in the community. One of the ways to increase the use of Bright Gas is by utilizing sales promotion programs, considering the long price difference between Bright Gas and LPG 3 Kg. This study aims to analyze the effect of trade-in sales promotion on Bright Gas buying interest among upper middle-income households in Bandung city. This study used quantitative methods with 183 samples determined using purposive sampling techniques, simple linear regression analysis was used in this study with the aid of SPSS software to measure the strength of the relationship between the variables in the study. The findings in this study show that trade-in sales promotion has a significant positive effect on Bright Gas buying interest
Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Kewirausahaan Terhadap Niat Berwirausaha Pada Generasi Z Di Jawa Barat
Get PDFThe research investigates the impact of digital marketing training on the entrepreneurial intention through the mediating role of self-efficacy among Generation Z (19 – 24 years old) in West Java. The aims of study to analyze how digital marketing training directly and indirectly through self-efficacy to influence entrepreneurial intention of Generation Z. The method of study using quantitative approach was applied, with data collected using google forms with data analysis techniques descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, path analysis, and hypothesis testing using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The sample comprises 400 respondents who have participated in digital marketing training conducted by either government agencies or non-governmental organizations, selected through purposive sampling combined with stratified random sampling. The finding of study that digital marketing training has a positive influence on self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy mediating the relationship between digital marketing training and entrepreneurial intention. Based on the finding, the study has directly and indirectly effect. This study is limited to Generation Z (aged 19-24 years) in West Java, which restricts the generalizability of the findings. However, the implications of this study can serve as a foundation for practitioners, policymakers, or academics in making informed decisions or taking relevant actions.

The Legal Protection for Children Outside Registered Marriage
No full textThis research is motivated by the social reality in Indonesia, where many children are born from unregistered marriages and consequently face legal discrimination in exercising their civil rights. The aim of this study is to analyze the provisions of Indonesia’s positive law regarding the status and protection of the rights of children born out of unregistered marriages, as well as to examine the legal implications of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010 in ensuring equal legal protection for children born out of wedlock. The method used is normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches. Data were collected through literature studies and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to produce a comprehensive legal argument. The results show that Indonesia’s positive law regulates the civil status and rights of children born out of wedlock through various regulations, from the Civil Code to the Marriage Law. Initially, such children only had civil relations with their mother and the maternal family. The Civil Code differentiates between legitimate, illegitimate, and adulterine children, influencing inheritance rights. The Marriage Law affirms that only registered marriages are legally recognized, which causes children from unregistered marriages to be classified as born out of wedlock. However, Constitutional Court Decision No. 46/PUU-VIII/2010 broadened the rights of illegitimate children by allowing civil relationships with their biological father based on scientific evidence. This grants access to inheritance rights and legal identity. The principles of non-discrimination and child protection are also emphasized in the 1945 Constitution and the Child Protection Law. The state is obligated to guarantee justice for all children regardless of their birth status and to ensure the effective and equal implementation of these rights.
 
Analysis of Oil-Penetrating Voltage Insulation Resistance on Transformers at PT TPPI Tuban
Get PDFAnalisis terhadap tahanan isolasi dan tegangan tembus minyak pada transformator 800-XFMR-002A di PT Trans-Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI) Tuban bertujuan untuk menilai keandalan sistem isolasi guna mendukung kontinuitas pasokan listrik di sektor industri petrokimia. Pengujian dilakukan berdasarkan standar IEEE untuk indeks polaritas serta IEC 60156 dan IEC 60814 untuk kualitas minyak isolasi cair. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa parameter isolasi masih berada dalam batas aman sesuai standar, mencerminkan efektivitas program pemeliharaan preventif perusahaan. Meskipun demikian, kualitas isolasi minyak dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti usia peralatan, suhu operasi tinggi, dan kontaminasi partikel maupun uap air. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan pengujian dan inspeksi berkala sangat diperlukan sebagai bagian dari strategi pemeliharaan prediktif untuk mengantisipasi degradasi fungsi isolasi dan mencegah potensi gangguan sistem. The thing that needs to be seen in improving the quality and business development of melon commodities is how they are managed, especially in supply chain management. The importance of Supply Chain Management in the business world is needed to support the success of a business, so that later it will bring big profits, especially for business development and the supply of quality coffee commodities from the Made Fresh company. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive design. The data used in this study are Primary data and Secondary data, where Primary data is obtained from field observations, direct interviews, discussions with related parties, and documentation obtained directly from the research object, namely Melon Commodity at the Made Fresh company. This research obtains results which show to clarify the mechanism of the Made Fresh supply chain in terms of transportation, distribution and supply chain management
