Various undertakings have intensified the interest of Spanish Club members throughout
the year. A vivid picture of the life of a native Bolivian was brought out in a speech by
Teresa Requena of La Paz. The advisor, Mrs. Ruth Gannon, entertained the members at her
home for several meetings. The activity that highlighted the year was a Christmas fiesta.

Foreword and table of contents of the 1966 Jay-Cee-An (BJC yearbook)Foreword
Life at Bismarck Junior College, from the long registration lines in
September to the last exam in May, cannot possibly be revealed between
the covers of a single book. For each individual the story is different.
But something will be familiar to all of us, the long cold walks to the park-ing
lot and the warmth of informal chats over hot chocolate and coffee in
the lounge.
We, the annual staff, have tried to put together some of the most in-teresting
aspects of life at Bismarck Junior College: joy, sadness, victory,
and defeat.
These phases, an integral part of our pursuit of knowledge, compose
the essence of the 1966 Jay-Cee-An,
