Photographs of BJC freshmenFreshman
Class
It was an eager and expectant freshman class that arrived at Bismarck Junior College,
ready to begin an entirely new venture. Registration, which involved long hours of stand-ing
in line and of filling out dozens of forms, launched class members off to a hectic start.
Among activities given to acquaint the new freshmen with each other and the school were
placement tests, a smorgasbord, and an all-college mixer dance. The regular routine of
everyday college life was a welcome change after the hustle and bustle of the first few days
of orientation.
Throughout the whole year, the enthusiasm of this freshman class permeated every
activity with a school.spirit that will long be remembered.
With the close of their first year at BJC, freshmen can recall with satisfaction all the
new friends they have made, the good times they have had, and the knowledge they have
gained. And the class can anticipate an even more rewarding final year, as sophomores,
on the new college campus.
