    INTEGRATING STEM AND PROJECT-BASED DIGITAL WORKSHEETS TO FOSTER 21ST-CENTURY STUDENT CHARACTERS

    This study investigates the effectiveness of STEM–Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated E-Student Worksheets in cultivating character development specifically curiosity and creative thinking among biology education students. Using a quasi-experimental post-test-only control group design, the research involved 50 participants equally divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group engaged with STEM–PjBL-based E-Worksheets, while the control group used conventional worksheets. Statistical analyses, including tests of normality, homogeneity, and independent t-tests, revealed significant differences between the two groups. Students in the experimental class achieved markedly higher levels of curiosity (M = 83.01; p = 0.001) and creative thinking (M = 79.39; p = 0.003) than their counterparts, demonstrating that the integration of STEM and PjBL within digital worksheets not only increases engagement but also fosters deeper character formation by strengthening inquisitiveness, originality, and problem-solving abilities. The study provides evidence that technology-enhanced project-based learning environments can function as catalytic spaces for nurturing essential 21st-century competencies. The novelty of this research lies in its synthesis of STEM, PjBL, and character education within a single digital learning device an integration rarely explored in higher education. By embedding character attributes directly into project workflows, the E-Worksheets move beyond content delivery toward the cultivation of intellectual dispositions. This study contributes a practical framework for designing character-oriented digital learning tools, offering implications for lecturers, curriculum developers, and instructional technologists seeking to promote holistic student development through innovative, technology-supported pedagogical models

    BRIDGING CULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY: A PROJECT-BASED LEARNING BASED 3D ANIMATION FILM FOR MOTIVATING STUDENTS IN MATHEMATICS

    Low motivation among students in learning mathematics, which is often viewed as abstract and disconnected from everyday life, remains a persistent challenge in Indonesian education. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of a 3D animated film based on ethnomathematics integrated with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to enhance students’ learning motivation and cultural appreciation. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach following Borg and Gall’s model through several stages: product design, expert validation, preliminary trials, field implementation, and operational evaluation. The participants consisted of junior high school students divided into control and experimental groups. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning motivation scales. The validation results indicated that the 3D animated film achieved a score of 82%, categorized as “good” and suitable for classroom implementation. Statistical analysis revealed a significant increase in learning motivation in the experimental group compared to the control group, as evidenced by higher pretest–posttest gain scores. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of 3D animation and ethnomathematics within the PjBL framework an innovative combination that contextualizes mathematical concepts through local cultural wisdom while promoting active, project-based engagement. This research contributes to the growing field of culturally responsive digital learning media by demonstrating that ethnomathematics-based animation not only enhances motivation but also bridges traditional cultural values with modern technological learning approaches, offering a scalable model for 21st-century mathematics education

    POLICY CONSTRUCTION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE DIGITAL ERA: THE SALAFIYAH CURRICULUM

    Research on the policy construction and implementation of the Salafiyah Curriculum in Islamic boarding schools is essential for understanding how Islamic educational institutions adapt to modern demands while maintaining traditional values. A qualitative approach was employed using participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through three stages, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the policy construction for implementing the Salafiyah Curriculum at Sa’adatuddarein is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 18 of 2014 Article 1 Paragraphs 1 and 4. This policy supports the school’s vision and mission to develop students who possess strong religious knowledge while remaining adaptive to social and technological changes in the globalization era. The curriculum is implemented by integrating the Salafiyah and Khalafi systems, combining the formal education curriculum with the traditional Islamic boarding school curriculum. This integration forms a holistic educational model where academic and religious activities are interconnected. The study confirms that the integration of curriculum and leadership policies at Sa'adatuddarein represents a strategic adaptation to globalization without neglecting Islamic educational values. The implications suggest that Islamic boarding schools can enhance their relevance and competitiveness by developing policies and curriculum models that balance tradition and modernity. These findings may serve as a reference for other Islamic educational institutions in designing contextual, sustainable, and quality-oriented learning systems in the global era

    Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menjabarkan variasi metafora konseptual yang muncul dalam syair tema cinta unggahan akun Instagram @Nasser_alwobair. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah syair-syair tema cinta yang diunggah oleh akun instagram @Nasser_alwobair. Dengan menganalisis metafora konseptual yang muncul, kita dapat mengidentifikasi pola-pola pemikiran dan nilai-nilai yang mendasari ungkapan cinta, serta bagaimana penulis menggunakan imaji untuk mengkomunikasikan kedalaman emosional. Metafora konseptual dianalisis berdasarkan teori Lakoff dan Johnson. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam syair tema cinta unggahan akun Instagram @Nasser_alwobair terdapat 53 metafora konseptual dengan rincian 13 metafora struktural, 7 metafora orientasional, dan 33 metafora ontologis. Abstract The focus of this research is to describe the variations of conceptual metaphors and image schemes that appear in the love theme poems uploaded by the Instagram account @Nasser_alwobair. This research uses a qualitative method. The data sources used in this research are love-themed poems uploaded by @Nasser_alwobair's Instagram account. By analyzing the conceptual metaphors that emerge, we can identify the patterns of thought and values that underlie expressions of love, as well as how writers use imagery to communicate emotional depth. Conceptual metaphors are analyzed based on Lakoff and Johnson's (1980) theory.     Peran LSM Yayasan Kakak dalam Mencegah dan Mengatasi Perilaku Merokok Anak di Bawah Umur di Kota Surakarta

    In Surakarta City, as many as 59% of children have started smoking at the age of under 12 years or equivalent to elementary school children. One of the causes that often arise is due to environmental, family and friendship factors. This study aims to determine how the role of the Kakak Foundation in preventing and overcoming the smoking behavior of minors in Surakarta City and what factors are the supporters and obstacles in carrying out prevention programs. This research uses a case study research method and Talcott Parsons' Structural Functionalism Theory as the theoretical basis. The results showed that the Kakak Foundation has an important role in preventing smoking in children by taking preventive action, namely socialization with the title Kampung Bebas Smoke Rokok (KBAR). Kakak Foundation in carrying out its role, requires other stakeholders such as the Surakarta Children's Forum, Youth Movers. There are still obstacles in the success of the program such as many cigarette advertisements found in the form of banners near the school area.  Abstract Di Kota Surakarta, sebanyak 59% anak sudah mulai merokok pada usia di bawah 12 tahun atau setara dengan anak SD. Penyebab yang sering muncul salah satunya adalah karena faktor lingkungan, keluarga, dan pertemanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Yayasan Kakak dalam mencegah dan mengatasi perilaku merokok anak di bawah umur di Kota Surakarta serta faktor apa yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam menjalankan program pencegahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dan Teori Struktural Fungsionalisme dari Talcott Parsons sebagai dasar teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Yayasan Kakak memiliki peran penting dalam melakukan pencegahan merokok pada anak dengan cara melakukan tindakan preventif, yaitu sosialisasi dengan tajuk Kampung Bebas Asap Rokok (KBAR). Yayasan Kakak dalam menjalankan perannya, membutuhkan stakeholders lainnya seperti, Masyarakat, Sekolah, Komunitas Pemuda Penggerak.     Film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” menceritakan tentang Glen Anggara yang bertemu dengan Shena, seorang gadis yang memiliki 12 daftar keinginan yang ingin dicapai sebelum penyakit yang diderita Shena semakin parah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk menganalisis pemaknaan semiotika Roland Barthes yang meliputi makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang terkandung dalam film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” karya Luluk HF. Film ini dipilih karena menyuguhkan beragam nilai kehidupan yang tersembunyi di balik narasi remaja dan kisah romansa, seperti nilai kekeluargaan, persahabatan, serta kepedulian sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif deskripti. Data diperoleh dari tuturan dan adegan dalam film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” yang dianalisis menggunakan tiga lapisan pemaknaan Barthes: denotatif (makna literal), konotatif (makna emosional/budaya), dan mitos (makna ideologis).  Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara yang ditayangkan pada aplikasi netflix sejak tanggal 23 Januari 2023. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa simak, catat, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa data berupa tuturan dan adegan yang masing-masing memuat pemaknaan mendalam yang mencerminkan pandangan budaya dan nilai-nilai sosial masyarakat. Melalui kajian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara tidak hanya menjadi tontonan hiburan, tetapi juga sarat makna simbolik yang layak dikaji secara semiotik untuk memahami pesan-pesan tersembunyi yang disampaikan kepada penonton. Abstract The movie “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” tells the story of Glen Anggara who meets Shena, a girl who has 12 wish lists to achieve before Shena's illness gets worse. The purpose of this study is to analyze the semiotic meaning of Roland Barthes which includes the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth contained in the film “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” by Luluk HF. This movie was chosen because it presents a variety of life values hidden behind teenage narratives and romance stories, such as family values, friendship, and social care. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative type. Data were obtained from speech and scenes in the film “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” which were analyzed using Barthes' three layers of meaning: denotative (literal meaning), connotative (emotional/cultural meaning), and mythical (ideological meaning).  The data source of this research comes from the movie 12 Stories of Glen Anggara which was aired on the netflix application since January 23, 2023. By using data collection techniques in the form of listening, recording, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study found some data in the form of speech and scenes, each of which contains deep meaning that reflects the cultural views and social values of society. Through this research, it can be concluded that the movie 12 Stories by Glen Anggara is not only an entertainment spectacle, but also full of symbolic meanings that deserve to be studied semiotically to understand the hidden messages that want to be conveyed to the audience.Film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” menceritakan tentang Glen Anggara yang bertemu dengan Shena, seorang gadis yang memiliki 12 daftar keinginan yang ingin dicapai sebelum penyakit yang diderita Shena semakin parah.     Navigating The Global And Local: The Intersection Of Religious Symbolism In Indonesian Literature And Islamic Modernization

    This study examines the influence of globalization on religious symbolism in Indonesian literature, focusing on the role of religious symbols in literature that reflects local religious identity and responses to Islamic modernization. The research aims to understand how Indonesian writers interpret Islamic symbolism in the face of global influences and how these symbols remain relevant in shaping religious identity in Indonesia. A qualitative approach with content analysis was used on literary works depicting religious symbols. The results show that despite the strong global influence, local religious symbolism still plays a central role in defining Indonesian religious identity, with writers adapting these symbols to reflect broader social dynamics. This study contributes to the understanding of how Indonesian literature responds to globalization and introduces relevant religious values in a contemporary context. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh globalisasi terhadap simbolisme agama dalam sastra Indonesia, dengan fokus pada peran simbol agama dalam literatur yang mencerminkan identitas agama lokal dan respon terhadap pengaruh modernisasi Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana penulis Indonesia menginterpretasikan simbolisme Islam di tengah pengaruh global, serta bagaimana simbol tersebut tetap relevan dalam membentuk identitas agama di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis konten pada karya sastra yang menggambarkan simbol-simbol agama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat pengaruh global yang kuat, simbolisme agama lokal tetap memainkan peran sentral dalam mendefinisikan identitas agama Indonesia, dengan penulis yang menyesuaikan simbol tersebut untuk mencerminkan dinamika sosial yang lebih luas.     Disinformasi dan Krisis Kepercayaan: Turbulensi Budaya Hukum di Era Post-Truth & Artificial Intelligence

    The development of digital technology has accelerated the integration of artificial intelligence into media ecosystems, reshaping how information is produced and disseminated. The growing use of artificial intelligence-generated content has expanded the circulation of inaccurate or misleading information, weakening public trust and triggering turbulence within legal culture. This trend aligns with the post-truth era, where emotional persuasion outweighs factual accuracy. Using a descriptive qualitative approach combining survey data and literature analysis, this study examines how artificial intelligence influences disinformation dynamics and the stability of legal culture. The findings underscore the need for adaptive state regulation, accountable technological development, and strengthened digital literacy supported by empathetic approaches to address disinformation and restore public trust. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mempercepat integrasi kecerdasan buatan ke dalam ekosistem media, sehingga membentuk ulang cara informasi diproduksi dan disebarluaskan. Meningkatnya penggunaan konten berbasis artificial intelligence turut memperluas peredaran informasi yang tidak akurat atau menyesatkan, yang pada akhirnya dapat melemahkan kepercayaan publik dan memicu turbulensi dalam budaya hukum. Perkembangan ini sejalan dengan kondisi era post-truth yang lebih menonjolkan persuasi emosional dibandingkan akurasi faktual. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang memadukan data survei dan analisis literatur, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana kecerdasan buatan memengaruhi dinamika disinformasi dan stabilitas budaya hukum. Hasil penelitian menegaskan pentingnya regulasi negara yang adaptif, pengembangan teknologi yang akuntabel, serta penguatan literasi digital dengan dukungan pendekatan yang empatik untuk menghadapi disinformasi dan memulihkan kepercayaan publik.Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, apalagi dengan hadirnya teknologi artificial intelligence ditambah dengan meningkatnya penggunaan media digital yang sudah menggantikan media cetak menyebabkan perubahan signifikan terhadap pola komunikasi dan distribusi informasi. Beberapa politisi, partai, dan tokoh pemerintahan kerap memakai buzzer / influencer yang biasa disebut tim media digital yang tugasnya untuk mempersiapkan konten-konten artificial intelligence yang dapat membuat disinformasi di masyarakat. Berita dapat sangat mudah untuk difabrikasi dengan bantuan artificial intelligence sehingga membuat disinformasi seperti berita palsu, hoaks, hingga propaganda, dan telah membuat turbulensi pada budaya hukum. Saat ini masyarakat hidup dalam era post-truth, era dimana emosi dan opini lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan fakta objektif, akibatnya masyarakat mengalami disinformasi dan krisis kepercayaan terhadap media, institusi, pemerintah bahkan terhadap sesama masyarakat. Artikel ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi disinformasi di era post-truth dan juga mengkaji kontribusi artificial intelligence pada turbulensi budaya hukum melalui penyebaran konten manipulatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei dan tinjauan literatur akademik maupun non-akademik sehingga mendapatkan data primer dan sekunder. Saran artikel ini menekankan pentingnya regulasi pemerintah yang adaptif, tanggung jawab pembuat teknologi maupun pengguna artificial intelligence serta penguatan literasi digital pada masyarakat, tetapi semua itu tidak lepas dari pentingnya empati untuk menghadapi tantangan disinformasi dan krisis kepercayaan

    Description Of Factors In The Utilization Of Mental Health Services at Sambang Lihum Mental Health Hospital In South Kalimantan

    Mental disorders are increasing worldwide. Most cases of mental disorders go untreated. Several studies have shown that there are factors associated with the utilization of mental health services. The most important factors are stigma, feelings, lack of knowledge, available mental health services, personal beliefs, and social support. Sambang Lihum Mental Health Hospital is a very potential research site to obtain research results that represent mental health services in the province of South Kalimantan. The purpose of this study was to identify a description of factors in the utilization of mental health services at Sambang Lihum Mental Health Hospital. This study was a quantitative descriptive study with 111 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique conducted in the psychiatry and drug polyclinic of Sambang Lihum Mental Health Hospital. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. The results of this study indicate that the most important factors in utilizing mental health services are stigma, feelings, lack of knowledge, available mental health services, personal beliefs, and social support. Most respondents sought treatment at mental health services within a duration of 3 months to 1 year after the first symptoms of mental disorders appeared. Mental health service providers are expected to be able to educate about mental disorders and treatment so that they can increase patient and family awareness to utilize mental health services

    USER SATISFACTION ANALYSIS OF FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS SERVICES, UNIVERSITAS JAMBI

    User satisfaction is one of the keys to success in managing an institution or organization. The level of service satisfaction is an important indicator to assess the extent to which service user expectations are met, by measuring the suitability between expectations of performance and the real experience felt after the service is used. The Community Satisfaction Index Survey conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business uses a mixed method research approach. The population in this survey is all service users at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jambi, including: lecturers, education staff, students, alumni, graduate users and cooperation partners. Furthermore, the sample in this survey is a portion of the representative population, using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The results show that the Faculty of Economics and Business received a good assessment in terms of reliability, responsiveness, and certainty, but still needs to make improvements to infrastructure and accelerate the response of academic administration, especially for students. Tingkat kepuasan layanan menjadi indikator penting untuk menilai sejauh mana kepuasan pengguna layanan, dengan mengukur kesesuaian antara harapan terhadap kinerja dan pengalaman nyata yang dirasakan setelah layanan digunakan. Survei Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat yang dilakukan di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian campuran atau mix methode. Populasi dalam survei ini yaitu seluruh pengguna layanan di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Jambi, meliputi : dosen, tenaga kependidikan, mahasiswa, alumni, pengguna lulusan dan mitra kerjasama. Selanjutnya yang menjadi sampel pada survei ini adalah sebagian dari populasi yang representatif, dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis memperoleh penilaian yang baik pada aspek kebugaran, tanggap, dan kepastian, namun masih perlu melakukan perbaikan pada sarana prasarana dan mempercepat respon administrasi akademik, terutama untuk mahasiswa.
