The Correlation Between Teachers’ Strategies in Using Audiovisual Media and Students’ Interest Toward Listening Comprehension Achievement
This study aims to determine the correlation between teachers’ strategies in using audiovisual media and students’ interest in listening comprehension achievement. The research used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The participants of this study were second- and fourth-semester students of the English Education Study Program in 2025 at the University of Jambi. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Google Form. This research aimed to see whether teachers' use of audiovisual media could improve students’ interest and performance in listening skills. The results showed that students who believed their teachers used interesting and effective audiovisual strategies were more interested in listening activities. The study also found a positive relationship between how teachers used media and the students’ listening comprehension scores. On the other hand, students who thought listening was difficult tended to get lower scores. Although students felt interested and saw the benefits of audiovisual media, these two factors did not directly affect their listening comprehension scores. This research highlights the importance of good teaching strategies to help students become more motivated and improve their listening skills

The education system development strategy: How to accelerate the improvement of academic qualification for the Indonesian national army?
This research proposes strategic recommendations to address the issues arising in improving the academic qualifications of the Indonesian National Army - in Indonesia. The scoping review method is used to see how other countries handle similar issues. The Scopus database retrieved relevant articles published from 2015 to 2025 with the help of Harzing Publish or Perish. Initially, 199 articles were obtained. Three selection stages based on inclusion criteria determined that 14 articles were selected for an in-depth review. The results are 1) 5 fundamental aspects and eight methodological aspects related to developing military education systems to enhance military personnel’s competencies and academic qualifications in various countries. 2) 4 recommendations promoted: 1) Creation of Prior Learning Recognition, 2) Empowerment of Civilian Roles in Military Academy Curriculum, 3) Military Education Based on International Collaboration, and 4) Utilization of Renewable Technology in Military Education. The results of this research are highly valuable, as they can serve as strategic recommendations for developing the military education system in Indonesia
The correlation between academic stress and emotion regulation
Academic stress is a common experience among university students and significantly affects their emotional and psychological well-being. Emotion regulation, the ability to manage and respond to emotional experiences, is critical in coping with academic-related stressors. This study examines the correlation between academic stress and emotion regulation strategies among undergraduate students. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 350 students at Universitas Terbuka through standardized instruments: the Academic Stress Scale (ASS) and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), which measures cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression. The results revealed a significant negative correlation between academic stress and cognitive reappraisal, and a significant positive correlation between academic stress and expressive suppression. These findings suggest that students who experience higher levels of academic stress are more likely to engage in maladaptive emotion regulation strategies. The study emphasizes the value of promoting adaptive emotional coping mechanisms to reduce stress and improve students’ academic and mental health outcomes

Strategic evaluation of management efforts to reduce drpouts and enhance learning participation
This study aims to identify effective evaluation management strategies to reduce school dropout rates and enhance educational participation in East Nusa Tenggara Province (ENTP), Eastern Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology with a case study approach, the research analyzes educational disparities between urban and rural areas and the effectiveness of current management policies and practices. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings were analyzed employing a modified descriptive-analytic approach. The results reveal that the primary factors contributing to school dropouts in ENTP include poverty, limited geographical accessibility, and low awareness of the value of education. While incentive-based policies and community-driven education management have yielded positive results, this study advocates for integrating contemporary educational management principles—such as Outcome-Based Education (OBE), technological innovation, and enhanced community participation. The policy recommendations emphasize the improvement of educational infrastructure, strengthening incentive mechanisms, and implementing contextually grounded strategies to advance inclusive and sustainable education in support of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision
