    RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM LOKER OTOMATIS MENGGUNAKAN QRCODE DAN LAMPU UV DISINFEKTAN

    As technology advances, the level of intelligence in humans increases, so humans always want to create progressive innovations, but besides that, it can also give rise to crime in society. Therefore, security aspects are very much needed in various sectors of life today. One of them is the locker security system which can influence criminal acts. A locker is a place for storage that usually has a lock, which is used to store or place valuable items. One of the facts is that there is often theft and loss of items at places where lockers are rented or borrowed. Thieves can easily open the locker lock using a piece of wire or other artificial keys. This research designs and builds a locker door security system consisting of QRcode sensors, solenoid locks, UV lights, Arduino and other sensor devices. The result of this research is an implementation of a locker security system that can open and close locker locks automatically using Arduino Uno which can provide automatic lock security with a better level of security such as the use of an automatic lock that uses a QRcode scan sensor which only the owner can open by pasting the QRcode code, and additional automatic locks such as a password keypad to open the locker.As technology advances, the level of intelligence in humans increases, so humans always want to create progressive innovations, but besides that, it can also give rise to crime in society.     CTP / CTCP machine which is a machine used in the printing industry that functions to make printing plates. CTP (Computer to Plate) CTCP (Computer to Conventional Plate). Continuous usage of this machine may cause the vacuum blower motor to overheat and shut off, which could impede the creation of printing plates and ultimately halt output. The performance of the machine can be enhanced by using protective system technology on the vacuum blower motor. By using microcontroller Node MCU ESP 8266 as control system, using a DS18B20 as temperature sensor, two fan as cooler, PZEM 017t as voltage and current monitoring motor, LCD 16x2 as display showing the values of current, voltage, DC motor temperature, DC motor speed control, and telegram to monitoring system realtime. The research’s output is a prototype that uses a DC motor as vacuum blower motor for monitoring and cooler if the DC motor temperature reaches a certain point, it will automatically notify the user via a chatbot (Telegram).     PENGARUH E-WOM, BRAND IMAGE, DAN KUALITAS PRODUK TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN PRODUK MS GLOW DI KOTA BATAM

    This study aims to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), brand image, and product quality on purchasing decisions of MS Glow products in Batam. In the digital era, E-WOM is a key factor influencing consumer decision-making. Additionally, a strong brand image and guaranteed product quality play a significant role in driving purchasing decisions. A quantitative approach was used with a sample of 100 MS Glow consumers in Batam, selected using Slovin's formula, and data were collected through questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using multiple regression with SPSS 25. The results show that E-WOM (regression coefficient 0.582, t-value 12.544, p < 0.05), brand image (regression coefficient 0.626, t-value 12.214, p < 0.05), and product quality (regression coefficient 0.315, t-value 7.268, p < 0.05) have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest enhancing brand image, leveraging E-WOM, and maintaining product quality to boost purchasing decisionsPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), citra merek, dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian produk MS Glow di Batam. Di era digital, E-WOM merupakan faktor kunci yang memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan konsumen. Selain itu, citra merek yang kuat dan kualitas produk yang terjamin berperan signifikan dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan sampel 100 konsumen MS Glow di Batam, dipilih menggunakan rumus Slovin, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi berganda dengan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-WOM (koefisien regresi 0,582, nilai-t 12,544, p < 0,05), citra merek (koefisien regresi 0,626, nilai-t 12,214, p < 0,05), dan kualitas produk (koefisien regresi 0,315, nilai-t 7,268, p < 0,05) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini menyarankan peningkatan citra merek, memanfaatkan E-WOM, dan menjaga kualitas produk untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian

    POWER AND MADNESS: A FOUCAULDIAN ANALYSIS OF INSTITUTIONAL CONTROL IN SHUTTER ISLAND

    This study examines Michel Foucault's theories on power and madness through the film Shutter Island, focusing on how institutional control shapes perceptions of sanity and insanity. Using Madness and Civilization as a theoretical framework, the research explores how psychiatric institutions define and regulate madness, creating "docile bodies" through surveillance and discipline. The data source consists of selected scenes from Shutter Island that illustrate institutional control mechanisms. The study employs qualitative methods, including scene analysis and dialogue transcription, to uncover the film's depiction of power dynamics. The findings reveal that the institution on Shutter Island functions as both a physical and psychological prison, using isolation, sedation, and psychological manipulation to maintain authority over patients. The narrative critiques the normalization and pathologization of madness, demonstrating how compliance with institutional norms is rewarded while deviation is punished. Authority figures, particularly doctors, play a central role in shaping patients' realities, exposing the oppressive nature of psychiatric institutions disguised as therapeutic environments. This study offers a contemporary application of Foucault’s theories, highlighting the ethical implications of power in mental health care.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teori Michel Foucault tentang kekuasaan dan kegilaan melalui film Shutter Island. Fokusnya adalah pada bagaimana kontrol institusional membentuk persepsi tentang kewarasan dan ketidakwarasan. Dengan menggunakan Madness and Civilization karya Foucault sebagai kerangka dasar, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana institusi sosial seperti fasilitas kesehatan mental mendefinisikan dan mengatur kegilaan, menciptakan "tubuh-tubuh patuh" melalui pengawasan dan disiplin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, termasuk analisis mendalam terhadap adegan dan transkripsi dialog, untuk mengungkap bagaimana film tersebut menggambarkan dinamika kekuasaan institusional. Film ini dianalisis sebagai representasi modern dari Panopticon Foucault, di mana pengawasan yang terus-menerus menyebabkan pasien mengatur diri sendiri dan menyesuaikan diri dengan norma-norma institusional. Hasil utama menunjukkan bahwa institusi di Shutter Island berfungsi sebagai penjara fisik sekaligus psikologis, menggunakan isolasi, sedasi, dan manipulasi psikologis untuk mempertahankan otoritas atas pasien. Narasi film mengkritik normalisasi dan patologisasi kegilaan, menunjukkan bagaimana kepatuhan terhadap standar institusional dihargai, sedangkan penyimpangan dihukum. Tokoh otoritas, terutama dokter, memainkan peran sentral dalam membentuk realitas dan identitas pasien, mengungkap sifat menindas dari institusi psikiatri yang terselubung dalam lingkungan terapeutik.     ANALISIS KESEIMBANGAN LINTASAN PRODUKSI AIR MINUM DALAM KEMASAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN OUTPUT PRODUKSI (STUDI KASUS: PT ALAM MAISI KABUPATEN LUWU)

    Line balance in a company's production needs to be considered so that the products produced meet production targets. PT Alam Maisi is a bottled drinking water (AMDK) industry that often has problems at work stations. Where there is a production line that is piling up. For that, a method is needed to help balance the production line. To analyze this problem, the Rank Positional Weight (RPW) method is used, this method is used to identify failures in a production process and determine the weights of the production process. From the calculation results, it is known that there is a shortage of workers at the inspection work station. There needs to be an arrangement for adding workers to the inspection work station so that production targets can be met. Based on the results of the production line balancing, with the Rank Positional Weight (RPW) method, by improving the production line which previously had 5 workstations to 4 workstations. Where the path efficiency value, which was previously 47%, increased to 97%, can reduce the balance delay, which was previously 52%, decreased by 2%, can reduce the smoothness index, which was previously 103.19, decreased by 50.39, and reduce idle time, which was previously 183.42, decreased by 88.4.Line balance in a company's production needs to be considered so that the products produced meet production targets.     PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE MENGGUNAKAN METODE RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE II PADA FASILITAS PRODUKSI KRITIS PERUSAHAAN BAJA

    One of the largest steel industries in Indonesia produces cold-rolled sheet steel, with production handled by the Cold Rolling Mill Factory. This study focuses on the Continuous Pickling Line and Continuous Tandem Cold Mill units, which have the highest downtime of 230 hours, resulting in a delay cost of 6 billion Rupiah. The objective is to identify the functions, failures, causes, and impacts on critical components, and to propose appropriate maintenance activities and intervals. Failure information is gathered using failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), while the appropriate maintenance activities are determined using a reliability-centered maintenance II decision worksheet. The study identifies four critical components in the CPL unit and five in the CTCM unit. Five failure modes are addressed by on-condition scheduling, seven by restoration scheduling, and seven by failure interval. Proposed maintenance intervals for on-condition scheduling include 9,413 minutes for stand #5, 8,371 minutes for stand #4, 12,383 minutes for stand #3, 12,996 minutes for stand #2, and 7,123 minutes for stand #1. Restoration scheduling intervals are 34,000 minutes for the saddle breaker, 21,000 minutes for the wiper, and between 12,000–23,000 minutes for other components.     PENERAPAN LEAN SUPPLY CHAIN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI RANTAI PASOK: STUDI KASUS PADA INDUSTRI PENGOLAHAN KARET

    The rubber industry is an important sector that processes, produces, and utilizes products made from rubber materials, with natural rubber sap as the primary raw material. The industry faces challenges such as mismatched rubber receipt data, which affects production targets due to supply chain disruptions. This study aims to implement Lean Supply Chain at PT A and estimate the efficiency of its application in meeting production goals. The research applies Lean Supply Chain principles to identify and eliminate waste in the supply chain of PT A, from harvesting to storage, using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). The identified waste includes environmental impact, product defects, waiting times, underutilized talent, transportation inefficiencies, excessive movement, and over-processing. Root causes of waste are analyzed using Fishbone Diagrams and the 5 Whys method, followed by corrective actions that align with the identified root causes. The activity mapping process resulted in a 3% increase in production efficiency for Ribbed Smoked Sheet (RSS). Furthermore, Lean Supply Chain implementation reduced rubber processing time from 8 days to 5 days, as per VSM analysis.     PENGARUH TUNNELING INCENTIVE DAN INTANGIBLE ASSETS TERHADAP TRANSFER PRICING DENGAN TAX MINIMIZATION SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI

    The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of Tunneling Incentives and Intangible Assets on Transfer Pricing with Tax Minimization as a moderating variable. This study uses a sample of Non-Cyclical Consumer Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. By utilizing financial statements and purposive sampling techniques, 9 companies were selected from a population of 125 in the Non-Cyclical Consumer Sector. A total of 45 data observations were obtained over five years. The analysis was conducted using Eviews version 13. The findings reveal that, although Tunneling Incentives no have affect transfer pricing, intangible assets have influence transfer pricing, tax minimization can moderate the effect of intangible assets, and tunneling incentives do not moderate transfer pricing

    PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI KAMUS INDONESIA JAWA MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA SEQUENTIAL SEARCH BERBASIS WEB

    This study aims to create an Indonesian-Javanese dictionary web based application using the Sequential Search algorithm. The application is designed to help younger generations understand the Javanese language, including its hierarchical speech levels (unggah-ungguh), which are becoming less commonly used, particularly in multicultural cities like Batam. The Sequential Search algorithm is implemented to simplify word searches sequentially. The application is developed using PHP, the Laravel framework, and PostgreSQL database, covering 1,500 basic vocabularies. The interface is designed to be simple, allowing users to perform two-way translations between Indonesian and Javanese quickly. Testing results show that the application can provide accurate translations and offer suggestions for words not found. With these features, the application is expected to serve as an efficient Javanese language learning tool while preserving Javanese cultural values among younger generations.     Strategi komunikasi pemasaran memegang peranan krusial dalam membangun kepercayaan publik terhadap produk dan layanan suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh Klinik Dermalove Batam dalam membangun kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap produk dan jasa estetika yang ditawarkan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan manajemen dan staf klinik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Klinik Dermalove Batam berhasil membangun kepercayaan publik melalui transparansi informasi layanan dan biaya, ulasan dan testimoni pelanggan yang jujur, fokus pada kualitas dan kebersihan, serta komunikasi yang konsisten dan responsif. Penerapan Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) yang terintegrasi, meliputi periklanan, hubungan masyarakat, promosi penjualan, pemasaran langsung, penjualan pribadi, pemasaran digital, pemasaran acara, dan manajemen hubungan pelanggan, turut memperkuat posisi klinik di pasar estetika yang kompetitif. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat seperti persaingan dengan klinik baru, penyebaran informasi tidak akurat di media sosial, dan kesulitan menghadapi pelanggan yang takut dikenakan upselling. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan diversifikasi layanan, peningkatan edukasi pelanggan, pengelolaan reputasi online, penanganan upselling yang lebih baik, dan pengembangan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pemasaran.
