FROM WASTE TO WORTH: PELATIHAN TRANSFORMASI SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA UNTUK MENCAPAI KEBERLANJUTAN DI KELURAHAN TEMBESI KOTA BATAM
Get PDFTerbatasnya tempat penampungan sampah yang ada di kota Batam menjadi sebuah masalah serius yang harus segera diatasi. Diprediksi ditahun 2035, tempat pembuangan akhir (TPA) yang ada di Punggur, tidak mampu lagi menampung sampah yang dibawa kesana. Dalam menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan, diperlukanlah suatu metode atau tatanan hidup baru dimana setiap individu mampu membuat keberlangsungan dari sampah yang dihasilkan. Sudah banyak kegiatan pengabdian dan program pemerintah untuk mengatur dan mengelola sampah. Salah satunya adalah dengan diadakannya bank sampah. Namun juga ada cara yang lebih menarik lagi dan memiliki nilai jual dari kegiatan pengolahan sampah. Dengan mengolah sampah sisa makanan yang dihasilkan menjadi pupuk organik cair dan kompos, dapat membantu pemerintah khususnya warga Batam dalam memanfaatkan kembali apa yang sudah dihasilkan untuk kegunaan lain. Dengan dihasilkannya pupuk dari sampah yang sudah dihasilkan, diharapkan kedepannya dapat mengurangi jumlah tumbukan sampah yang akan dibuang ke TPA. Program ini dapat menjadi salah satu usaha bagi warga yang mau dan bersedia dalam menekuni kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini diharapkan juga dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan kepedulian warga terhadap masalah sampah yang sewaktu-waktu bisa menjadi musibah bagi warga jugaTerbatasnya tempat penampungan sampah yang ada di kota Batam menjadi sebuah masalah serius yang harus segera diatasi. Metode Naive Bayes Classifier untuk Analisis Sentimen Studi Kasus Mega Wisata Coastarina Batam
Get PDFTourism is one of the destinations for tourists to visit a city. Usually, to visit a tourist spot, individuals check the ratings of the place through Google reviews. In addition to ratings, some people also read reviews to assess the quality of the tourist spot. However, if the reviews given do not match the rating, there is a need for sentiment analysis to identify positive and negative reviews. This study takes a case study from Batam city, namely Mega Wisata Coastarina Batam. The method used in this research is Naive Bayes. Naive Bayes is chosen for its popularity in classification methods with good accuracy. Based on the research results, there are more positive sentiments than negative sentiments, namely 200 positive sentiments and 141 negative sentiments. The testing results of the research show the performance of sentiment analysis using the Naive Bayes method, with an F1-score accuracy of 69.49% and a margin of error of +-7.67%. The precision is 71.00% in positive predictions and 67.39% in negative predictions. The recall value is 75.53% for positive predictions and 62.09% for negative predictions. The F1-score results are 86.06% for positive predictions and 64.63% for negative predictions
ANALISIS PERBAIKAN KUALITAS PRODUK HOUSING BOTTOM PADA PT ABC

PT ABC is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the production of electronic and medical products. In this study, issues were identified in the molding department, which had a high number of black dot defects in Housing Bottom products. The objective of this research is to determine the factors causing the decline in the quality of Housing Bottom products and to identify improvement efforts for the black dot defects. This study uses a fishbone diagram to analyze the factors causing black dot defects and the DMAIC method to determine improvement efforts for the causes of black dot defects. The research findings using the fishbone diagram identified that the cause of black dot defects is a machine factor related to nozzle temperature. Therefore, the improvement efforts conducted using Design of Experiment involve setting the nozzle temperature at 290°C and the metering section temperature at 290°C, resulting in low black dot defects
EVALUASI KUALITAS PENGADAAN PETI KEMAS TRUCKING PADA PT XYZ
Get PDFThe poor quality of containers from trucking companies affected cocoa products and caused customer dissatisfaction and financial losses for PT XYZ, a cocoa product trading company. This research evaluates the quality of container procurement services from trucking companies using the SERVQUAL and Lean Service approach and DPMO and Six Sigma methods. This study also proposes a Self-Assessment Checksheet design based on SAC (Safety, Availability, and Cost) indicators from four standard sources of foodgrade containers. The design was validated and revised by two industry practitioners and one academic. The research results show that service quality has not met the expected standards, indicated by high DPMO values and low Six Sigma levels for all service dimensions, especially Responsiveness and Tangible. The Self-Assessment Checksheet design can help trucking companies improve the quality of their services and achieve better levels of Six Sigma by facilitating them to inspect and assess the quality of the containers they provide. This design is a solution for improvements in the Tangible dimension as the main focus of this research. This study concludes that the Self-Assessment Checksheet design is a useful tool for improving the quality of container procurement services and reducing problems and losses caused by poor quality containers

When finished painting, the painter has a problem, namely large and medium-sized vehicle parts will be left for drying not enough to load into the storage cabinet, so that the drying process time becomes long and the storage cabinet is dirty, so the work process becomes late due to waiting for more time, and makes customers wait due to the delay in time from the agreement then the business location has a small size so that there is a lack of neatness due to the large number of vehicle parts. The purpose of this study was to find out a redesign that can shorten the drying time. The method used in this study is the NIDA (Need, Idea, Decision and Action) method. The result of this study is to get a design choice as needed (need) is an alternative with action, namely increasing the size of the cabinet with 180cm x 80cm x 180cm (length x width x height) with the use of iron and aluminum materials with the addition of 4 wheels and 8 pieces of incandescent lamps. After data analysis and data testing, the results obtained that the old storage cabinet can cover a temperature of 25 ° C - 30 ° C with an output of 5 per day, while after redesign get a room temperature result of 45 ° C - 50 ° C with an output of 33.6 per day
PERANCANGAN FASILITAS KERJA PROSES PEMBUATAN BAKSO PADA USAHA KECIL MENENGAH MORO ASIH
Get PDFThis study was conducted on employees at UKM Moro Asih, where the process of making meatballs is still carried out without a work table, which can lead to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in employees. Through the distribution of the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire, it was found that 2 out of 3 workers had a "Very High" level of musculoskeletal risk, indicating the need for comprehensive and immediate action. To make improvements, the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method was used by designing a work table that fits the employees' body posture. The research results show that the REBA score before using the work table and chair was 7 (moderate risk), while with the proposed work table and chair, the score decreased to 3 (low risk). This significant change indicates that the addition of these facilities effectively reduces the risk of musculoskeletal disorders in employees in the meatball production section

MINIMASI PEMBOROSAN PADA PRODUKSI PALLET KAYU DI PT KAYU KREASI SEJAHTERA

Other problems include long machine set up times, long material distances, and material buildup. The research aims to minimize Waste and offer suggestions for improving the production process. Based on the assessment, Waste due to excess transportation has the highest percentage of 27.94%, which affects other Waste. Analysis using a fishbone diagram identifies the root of the problem, which becomes the basis for recommendations for improvements such as implementing clear SOPs, scheduled machine maintenance, replacing damaged machines, rearranging material distances, adding employees, and using automatic rolling conveyors. The implementation of future state mapping shows a reduction in production lead time from 1455 minutes to 1100 minutes, increasing productivity and process cycle efficiency from 54.98% to 72.73%, recording an increase of 17.74%
