    Phishing scams on WhatsApp have become increasingly common, targeting users with deceptive messages to steal personal data. To help address this issue, this study presents the design of a 3D educational animation developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework, which consists of concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution stages. The animation aims to raise awareness among young social media users, especially those aged 15–25, who are considered highly vulnerable to such threats. The animation was published on YouTube and evaluated through both audience feedback and a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 25 respondents. Within 28 days, the video gained 456 views, 77 likes, and 122 comments, reflecting a positive initial reception. The questionnaire yielded an average score of 4 out of 5, indicating favorable responses regarding animation quality, character design, and message clarity. Technical assessments using MediaInfo and VLC Media Player confirmed the animation’s smooth performance in terms of visuals and audio. Overall, the results demonstrate that the 3D animation effectively delivers educational content and has the potential to serve as a useful media tool to increase public understanding of phishing tactics on messaging platform

    ANALISIS PENERAPAN 5S (SEIRI, SEITON, SEISO, SEIKETSU, SHITSUKE) TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS KERJA PADA TB INDOSATU BATAM

    This research was conducted at TB Indosatu Batam, a building materials retail company, with the aim of analyzing the implementation of the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) on work effectiveness. Problems found in the company’s work environment include a lack of employee discipline, inefficient material arrangement, limited workspace, and poor cleanliness. The research method used was direct implementation of the 5S approach, carried out through initial observation, execution of the 5S program, and evaluation of the results. The findings indicate that systematic application of the 5S method has a positive impact on the work environment. The Seiri stage helped eliminate unnecessary items and optimize space usage. The Seiton stage facilitated easier access to materials through structured organization. The Seiso stage enhanced work comfort through scheduled cleaning. The Seiketsu stage maintained consistency with standardized procedures. The Shitsuke stage fostered a disciplined work culture through training and reward systems. Implementation of the 5S method effectively improved work efficiency, organization of material layout, and created a cleaner, safer, and more productive work environment at TB Indosatu Batam

    PERANCANGAN SISTEM DETEKSI PLAT KENDARAAN BERMOTOR MENGGUNAKAN OPENCV BERBASIS WEB

    This research aims to design a motor vehicle license plate detection system using web-based OpenCV, applied in the Sandona residential complex, Batam. This system replaces access cards for entry, enhancing security by automatically detecting registered vehicle license plates. If registered, the gate opens automatically. The methodology includes preliminary studies, literature review, preparation of tools and materials, design, as well as testing and analysis. The system uses NodeMCU ESP8266, a webcam, a servo motor, an ultrasonic sensor, and software developed with Python and OpenCV for image processing. The detection process involves capturing images of license plates, processing the images to extract numbers, and matching them with a database for validation. Testing results show an accuracy rate of 75% under optimal conditions. Accuracy is influenced by the position of the license plate, which must be upright and straight to the camera, as well as adequate lighting conditions. Under ideal conditions, the system works well and can improve access efficiency and security in the Sandona residential complex.   Keywords: Computer Vision, Digital Image, NodeMCU ESP8266, Object Detection; Open CV. &nbsp

    OPTIMASI PENENTUAN TINGKAT PENGADAAN BAHAN BAKU PADA USAHA MICRO KECIL MENENGAH

    This research aims to determine the control of the supply of soybean raw materials applied to Tahu Saguba MSMEs. The data processed is data on supplies, purchases and use of soybean raw materials at Tahu Saguba MSMEs from June 2023 to May 2024, using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The research results are as follows: the number of orders for soybean raw materials is 145 sacks, the frequency of orders is 18 times, the safety stock is 14 sacks, ROP can be carried out when the soybean raw materials are in the warehouse as many as 22 sacks, with a total inventory cost of IDR 1,074,989 . The conclusion of this research shows that the application of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method shows a more optimal order quantity compared to the method currently used by MSME Tahu Sagub

    PERANCANGAN ALAT BANTU PROSES ASSEMBLY MODULE PADA PT XYZ

    According to the results of data processing and analysis, the authors reached the following conclusions from the research on the Design of Assembly Module Process Aids at PT XYZ. From the processing and analysis of the DFMA machine design, it was found that the constituent components of the machine amounted to 9 components with a total weight of 12.96 kg, a total machining process time of 492 minutes or 8.2 hours and a total cost of Rp.11,039,656. Based on data processing from testing before the machine and after the machine in the module assembly process, the comparison parameters are obtained where before the assembly process aids in the module assy product takes 8,9 seconds with the assembly process in one working hour which produces an output of 1.668 units, while after using the assembly machine on the module assy with a time of 4,7 seconds can produce an output of 3.829 units and an increase of 47%

    PERENCANAAN DAN PENGENDALIAN KETERSEDIAAN SPARE PART MOBIL DI BENGKEL JOSUA

    This study aims to plan and control the inventory of car spare parts at Josua Auto Repair Shop in Tanjung Piayu, Batam City, addressing issues like frequent out-of-stock items, hazardous mechanic positions, disorganized layout, and inadequate tools. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used to forecast sales and determine optimal ordering frequency and costs for key spare parts such as engine oil, oil filters, brake pads, brake fluid, and spark plugs. Results show that for engine oil, the sales forecast from May 2023 to April 2024 is 1000 pcs with a purchasing frequency of 13 times per year and an optimal order of 75 pcs per purchase, with storage costs of IDR 153,000 and ordering costs of IDR 431,000. Oil filters are projected to sell 1000 pcs with a frequency of 16 times per year and an optimal order of 61 pcs, with storage costs of IDR 111,000 and ordering costs of IDR 205,000. Brake pads, brake fluid, and spark plugs are similarly analyzed. This study provides guidance for Josua Auto Repair Shop in effectively managing inventory, reducing stock shortages, and improving customer service

    Advances in information technology provide great opportunities to improve public services, especially in managing public complaints. In Perumahan Nusa Jaya, Kelurahan Sungai Panas, Batam City, which is a community with high social interaction, complaint management is currently still done manually through WhatsApp groups. This approach faces challenges, including lack of focused attention, difficulty tracking complaint status, limited documentation, and lack of transparency. Survey data revealed that most residents consider the current system ineffective and needs innovation. This study proposes the design of a citizen portal web application to streamline the management of complaints and community discussions. This system aims to record complaints periodically, track progress in resolution, provide organized documentation, and increase transparency and accountability for RT/RW administrators. This development follows the Scrum methodology, allows for iterative improvement, and uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for process modeling. The interface designed using Figma ensures a user-friendly experience. The proposed application will improve efficiency, transparency, and citizen satisfaction in managing public services in Perumahan Nusa Jaya. By integrating modern technology, this initiative is in line with sustainable development goals, which encourage better community-level governance

    RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI E-VEGETABLES MENGGUNAKAN FLUTTER DI KOTA BATAM

    Housewives are responsible for managing kitchen needs, regularly shopping for vegetables to meet daily food ingredient requirements. Vegetable shops run by the community serve as one of the alternatives for housewives to buy vegetables. However, they often face difficulties in obtaining information about the availability of vegetable products in stores or shops, as well as price information. This study aims to design and develop an e-vegetables application. The application helps buyers access store information and place orders online, while also enabling sellers to reach a wider consumer base. The method used in this study is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which involves stages such as requirement planning, system design, development, and implementation. The application is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language) for diagram modeling and Figma for user interface design. It is built in Android operating system using Flutter for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, and MongoDB as the database. The results of this study show that the e-vegetables application facilitates buyers in obtaining vegetable information and placing orders efficiently

    RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENDETEKSI KEBOCORAN GAS BERBASIS IOT

    The rapid development of information technology, particularly in the Internet of Things (IoT), creates significant opportunities for smart solutions like IoT-based gas leak detection systems. Given the widespread use of LPG cylinders in households, small businesses, and large industries, this research aims to design a gas leak detection tool utilizing detection sensors on LPG cylinders. This tool is intended to reduce the risk of danger or fire incidents, especially in industries and restaurants. The study focuses on designing and implementing an IoT-based gas leak detection system using key components like the MQ-2 sensor, which detects hazardous gas, and a buzzer that serves as an initial alarm. Notifications are also sent via the Telegram application for immediate alerts. Testing results demonstrate that the system effectively detects gas leaks and provides timely warnings through both sound alarms and Telegram notifications. The gas detection accuracy is notably high, making it a reliable solution for minimizing fire or explosion risks caused by gas leaks. All components—MQ-2 sensor, buzzer, NodeMCU connectivity module, and Telegram application—work cohesively, fulfilling the system’s design goals and ensuring smooth operation. This research underscores the importance of IoT technology in enhancing safety and mitigating hazards in daily environments

    ANALISIS KEPUASAN LAYANAN BIRO ADMINISTRASI AKADEMIK KEMAHASISWAAN STMIK WIDURI MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA NAÏVE BAYES CLASSIFIER

    Higher education institutions play an important role in creating quality human resources, and one of the main factors that influence the quality of higher education is the academic services provided to students, as seen at STMIK Widuri. The Academic and Student Affairs Administration Bureau of STMIK Widuri needs to provide quick and accurate responses to ensure the quality of services is maintained. This study aims to predict the services of the  Academic and Student Affairs Administration Bureau using the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm, which is a probability-based classification method for predicting a class. The datasets used in this study are perceptions and expectations derived from questionnaires distributed online to STMIK Widuri students, which were processed using RapidMiner through the stages of Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). The evaluation results show an accuracy of 95%, precision of 100%, and recall of 93.75% for the perception dataset, and an accuracy of 90%, precision of 87.50%, and recall of 87.50% for the expectation dataset. This algorithm has proven to be effective in predicting the satisfaction of services provided by the Academic and Student Affairs Administration Bureau at STMIK Widuri.Perguruan tinggi berperan penting dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia berkualitas, dan salah satu faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kualitas perguruan tinggi adalah pelayanan akademik yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa, seperti di STMIK Widuri. Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan STMIK Widuri perlu memberikan tanggapan yang cepat dan tepat agar kualitas pelayanan tidak menurun. Penelitian ini memprediksi pelayanan Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes Classifier, yang berbasis probabilitas untuk memprediksi suatu kelas. Dataset yang digunakan adalah persepsi dan harapan dari hasil kuesioner mahasiswa STMIK Widuri yang diolah dengan aplikasi RapidMiner melalui tahapan Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan akurasi 95%, presisi 100%, dan recall 93,75% untuk dataset persepsi, serta akurasi 90%, presisi 87,50%, dan recall 87,50% untuk dataset harapan. Algoritma ini terbukti efektif dalam memprediksi kepuasan layanan Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan di STMIK Widuri
