For example, a top can be transformed into a backpack by using the zipper to piece different fabrics together. The diversified yet practical collection fulfils the needs of wearers and promotes the concept of sustainable development of fashion design
Ultrasound-assisted extraction in milk tea production = 超聲波沖調港式奶茶
Hong Kong-style milk tea is one of the signature beverages in Hong Kong. The quality and flavour of the milk tea greatly depends on the degree of astringency, which is in turn determined by the amount of tannins used that give a bitter aftertaste. Ultrasound-assisted Extraction (UAE) can be adopted in the milk tea brewing process to control the concentration of tannins and adjust the astringency of milk tea, thereby producing the Hong Kong-style milk tea that fits the flavour preferences of people in different regions
The super-hydrophilic coating on glass for self-cleaning = 具有自清潔特性的超親水塗層玻璃
The coating is a thin layer of transparent nanomaterial composed of TiO2. When applying the coating to glass walls, the organic pollutants that adhere on the glass wall are swiftly oxidised. The pollutants are then transformed into non-toxic CO2 and water when sunlight or light from lamps is casted on the wall. The raindrops falling on the glass surface then form a thin water layer removing the organic pollutants, which achieves the “self-cleaning” purpose
